Considered to be the younger sibling of the DD3, the DD1 distance driver by Discmania offers a less overstable flight path than the popular DD3 distance driver. The DD1's smooth glide carries it to the horizon with some turn, before reliably fading back at the end of its flight. This versatile disc is a top choice for both accurate drives in the woods and full-power throws in the open fields. The DD1 distance driver is truly a disc for the masses, designed by Discmania to deliver consistent performance and control for disc golfers of all skill levels.

Horizon DD1 X-out. 4 stars instead of 5 because the DD1 I found has a tendency to rise up and fly higher than comparable discs, even when carefully thrown with the nose angled down. Flight numbers seem accurate but because of the challenge controlling the height, this disc was not as easy to controll as other 11 speed drivers. However, it is very possible this could be caused by issues with my own throwing motion. This would be a fine disc for beginners who have the technique/power to throw an average 11 speed driver. 11 is about the max speed I can throw effectively right now and thrown flat the DD1 turns before fading back left.

My straight flyer. I love the Horizon plastic blend. It grips well in all weather and has great durability. Ths disc goes where you want. Put it on any line and it holds it with just the right amount of finish at the end of the flight. I had a green one that seemed a bit more understable than the blue I am currently bagging.

Great disc! plastic feels great and the disc has epic glide! At Altitude it was my go to distance driver. At sea level this thing holds a line beautifully. Definetly gives the Wraith a run for its money
