From the very beginning the MD Discmania had a very clear cut mission - to fill their straight to understable midrange slot and have the ultimate control midrange. The MD certainly fits the bill for both of those goals. By “ultimate control” they want the thrower to be able to control this disc to do any and every type of flight fresh off the shelf. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then imagine all of the different shots you can accomplish with this midrange driver. The feel of this disc is great as well. It has a slight dome and a convex lower wing. It feels like it belongs in your hand and it's ready to tackle all of your midrange duties.

The definition of point and shoot. I LOVE this compared to a Mako3 or Buzzz or Origin due to its dome. Whatever wrist angle you put the disc on, it will stay on that angle the entire time, all while pushing forward for precise distance. The MD can be a bit touchy, as you can't recover with it if your angle was off. BUT, it is a fantastic disc to correct upon your errors. Anyone will find some success with the MD!

If and when i throw my drive into the woods the MD is the disc I grab 9 out of 10 times it's like a faster putter so you can give it some power and it will keep any line you throw and finish straight and just sit down at the end by far one of my fav mids a great buy for all skill levels

I got a C-Line x-out MD in a mystery box and It's a great disc. I do prefer the mako3 a smidge more than the MD, but that's probably because of the feel of the disc. If you want a disc that's really close to a mako3 and flies pretty similar, then the MD might be a good pickup for you. In a comparison, I don't think I can put quite as much power into an MD without it flipping a bit as I can with the mako3, but maybe that's what you're looking for.
