Lower your score with the MD4! This disc is the overstable brother of the MD3. The MD4 has a blunt nose with that standard MD3 micro-bead, giving it a familiar feel in the hand. Not only is the MD4 overstable, but it also has a surprising amount of glide, allowing your shots to fade more while still maintaining predictability. Whether you're facing a stiff wind, looking for a controlled hyzer line, or throwing a nice touch sidearm, the MD4 has you covered. We find this disc to be much more versatile than most other overstable mid-ranges on the market due to the mix of stability and glide. Don't wait, grab yourself an MD4 and lower your score!

I bought a P-Line Stiff MD4 looking to fill the overstable midrange slot in my bag. While I have really enjoyed throwing the MD4 and the disc has a really nice feel in the hand, I would have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that the MD4 is not super overstable (especially as it has beaten a little). That being said I can still get some really nice flex shots through gaps with it. I have just come to not expect as much fade at the end of the flight. I do not have a great forehand by any stretch of the imagination, but have found the MD4 to be a nice forehand disc with a fairly straight flight and again a little fade at the end.

All and all another really great disc from Discmania!

I suppose I'll add my two cents to this disc. I love it. I use mine all the time. I have it in C-Line and it's great. I personally only throw midranges in either C-Line or Champion or S-line or Star. I don't typically like beaded discs either so I prefer this to a Roc3 or a Method. It has a micro bead which isn't really noticeable. It is nice and flat and shallow. It isn't going to be a meat hook by any means but it has some beef. I throw mine for a lot of flex shots or straight shots that need a slight fade at the end. This fits right in between my Gator and my Vcobra. I think this can be a great stable to overstable midrange for a beginner.

Bought this disc as an in between disc when its too far for a zone or tactic and not far enough for a firebird. Thought this would be exactly what I was looking for but it wasn't as overstable as I wanted. Ended up replacing with a verdict. I like the feel and fade of the verdict a bit more, especially for forehands. Overall not a bad disc but wasn't for me.

A Roc3 without the big bead essentially is how I would describe the flight to a T. I was hoping it would have been OS enough in MF C line to approach RHFH with some power like a Zone but it was identical in flight & stability to a Champ Roc3. Just with the mirobead it is more comfortable for me. Powered down hyzerflip or touch FH it had surprising glide with a 2ish fade at  the end.

Backhand is where this thing really shines for me. A geat full sized longer ranged mid to be sure. FH Im grabing a Zone 9-10x but if I need more distance BH or need a lower line to get there than I get get with a P2 Im grabbing this thing and the MF C-line ones are beautiful if you can find one. 4.5 stars easy
