SUMMARY: This is a good disc but in Flex 2 plastic the numbers are a big fat lie.

EXPLANATION: In Flex 2 this is a P2 that's shaped differently. When putting it has some serious bite at the end, and would flatten out when putting on anhyzer.  When throwing, it seems to have quite a bit of drag and yet again, noticeable fade. I could release on anhyzer and it would return to flat or even continue fading if I gave it enough air.

First time trying their Swedish made putters.  These are ready to point and shoot with putts and finesse approach shots.  Brand new these flew like my well seasoned p2(Innova made).  The feel is very solid and grippy and interchangeable between the modern P2's.  They have earned a spot in my bag mainly for the way they can ride a straight line on the green.  not recommend these for putting in headwind conditions but it is nice and grippy in cold wet conditions. this is a commit to the chains type disc.  If you hit low metal for whatever reason this thing is rolling ob.

-Reviewing in the flex 2 plastic- my favorite plastic of one of my favorite discmania putters. This plastic is a great balance between grip and firmness. Not too stiff, not too tacky. The P1 is the most workable beadless discmania putter too, imo. The rainmaker and the P2 don't quite have enough glide, and are more difficult to putt long range with. The P1 is a great Lazer straight putter with a touch of stability, and the flex 2 plastic is the most friendly plastic for all conditions

The Discmania P1 Flex2 disc, folks, let me tell you, it's a real game-changer out there on the disc golf course. As a seasoned player at 48 years old, I've tried my fair share of putters, and this one really stands out. It's not just for the youngsters; it's got something for everyone. The Flex2 plastic, I gotta say, it strikes that perfect balance between toughness and grip. You know, you want a disc that can handle the wear and tear, but it's got to feel right in your hand, and this one does just that.

Now, what really impresses me about this P1 Flex2 is the glide. It's like it's got wings, folks. When you're lining up those critical putts or trying to make those short-range upshots, that glide comes into play, giving you that extra oomph to reach the basket. And the control you get from the flat-top design and that beadless rim, well, it's like an extension of your hand. You can count on this disc to deliver consistent flights and a reliable fade every time. So, for us more experienced players, or even if you're just starting out, give the Discmania P1 Flex2 a shot. It might just become your go-to putter out there on the course.

Bought it at a disc store, so I got to try it in hand. The D-Line Flex 2 feels grippy enough to not lose control when it's wet or sweaty, but not too much that it sticks to your hands. It's profile is similar to an Aviar, with slightly less depth, a flatter top, and the side isn't as rounded out. The plastic looks like it will break in well but I haven't had it long enough for it to do that. Its glide isn't as pronounced as a star aviar which is a plus, and it is not as skippy (for beginners, think that if you throw it, it won't bounce up or keep going) as the smoother/premium plastics some discs come in. It's well suited for putting (short or midrange). However, I would label it with a 0.5 or 1 fade. Whether you power throw it or soft-toss it from any distance, it will stabilize and likes to have a tiny bit of fade at the end. While it is not as "straight-flying" as they label it, I would have to be persuaded to push the rating to 1 with fade, and anything more than that is not accurate. In all, it's a great disc to learn to putt with in this plastic, feels great in the hand, and would not be a bad choice for a slight headwind putt.

The Discmania P1 is a beadless aviar. It feels and flies just like a Putt and Approach. This is a good thing though, because the Aviar is a great disc (as this one is too). D-line plastic feels great with a little bit of give, but very tacky and grippy. This is a great disc for beginners looking to learn how to control a disc, as it will force you to throw with good form.

Best Putter I've ever owned in regards to flight, just did not like the plastic. Very beginner friendly for putting. Flights straight as a throwing putter but does not feel good in the hand. I was actually surprised as to how much attention the P2 gets when the P1 is a much better putter

The P1 has been compared to an aviar. The original Mold was to copy the aviar but I have found that my P1 is a lot more unterstable. I mostly use this disc for straight to unterstable putter shots either in approaches or off the tee at times. Fresh out this disc will fly dead straight but will ultimately beat in to be either a hyzer flip putter or a turnover putter. I use it for both. I had tried putting with it and I just kept turning it to much and would always miss to the right. I wouldn't recommend for putting if your a strong spin putter like me but for a less experienced player who push putts then I would highly recommend this disc.
