Definitely overstable but not as crazy as a 4 fade. I second the Anax of the mids comparison , they both share high glide numbers that make that high speed understability and big fade numbers that drop them OS at slow speed. It flies like my Pyro which is 5 4 0 2.5 but should end with a 3 fade. This is a really great disc that is not a meathook, it will hold a line well. Thrown on Anhyzer it will hold the angle for 75% of the flight and l fight back in the last couple feet. I was expecting closer to a Mutant but got a better Method, glidey with a more 3 fade.

I like to think of this as an anax as a mid range (very high glide yet overstable), or the other way around since this came out first.  I'm loving it around the 300ft range and for other shots where my anvil can't get quite as much distance.

I love this disc flies just as described not overly overstable but very consistent and reliable with hyzer not quite as versatile as a buzzz but very reliable as an overstable mid. I can get decent distance with it but more importantly I can be the most accurate with this which is really what you want from a midrange.

I started using this disc as an overstable midrange to replace my Buzzz OS that I lost and is currently impossible to replace. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it flies just like my Buzzz OS but is a touch less overstable and has slightly more glide. I see everybody in the comments saying that this is how the Buzzz OS was meant to be, which I'm getting on board with. I love this disc for all of my forehand shots, I can put a little turn on it or keep it dead straight and no matter what it always finishes hard with the fade. I definitely don't think it is a "4" Fade as advertised though, more like a 3.

This review is for ESP plastic. The Hornet in this plastic will fly slight more understable than Z for sure. Mine is still breaking in, so I'm not seeing the glide I expected, but I can tell it will get there. These are not stupid overstable but enough beef there that it's an all around dependable disc when you need a hard rip without fear of turnover. It's especially dependable for forehand shots that need to hit and stick. I really wish this mold would stay in production, not sure why Discraft would put it on the back burner as much as they have.

This disc is what I expected my older Z line to be. It has good glide with a consistent fade. I still bag the Z for straighter shots but the esp is definitely more overstable which is exactly what I wanted.

You can get good distance with the hornet as well. I have tried many many overstable mid ranges and most either not overstable or would dump too early. The hornet is the perfect mix.
