The DX AviarX3 offers a grippy, base plastic version of Innova’s most overstable Aviar, with a flat profile that excels in windy approach shots and power putts. The DX plastic breaks in faster, allowing for earlier turn and more versatility over time. The Innova DX AviarX3 is an affordable option for testing this torque-resistant putter.

My favorite driver- goes really well when thrown forehand. Floats a bit on you though, so make sure to keep it down when you release

I can't recommend enough to disc golfers to pick one of these up and beat it in as much as possible. Yeah, you can say what you want about DX plastic, but I feel like unless your average is above 950 you can't really speak TOO badly about it. The weird thing I will admit is that when DX beats in, each mold is very different in terms of how its flight is. When champion beats in (After what feels like thirty years) the disc is still pretty characteristic of the mold. DX just does that, sometimes it will completely wreck a disc (The Cro) or make it an absolute jewel. In the case of the latter, until I lost it, this thing was awesome. It's not beginner friendly, but will offer you a variety of shot selection over a very long time. I loved this disc when it came to shaping semi-escape shots and short ish-hyzer spikes. Unless you have a wicked sidearm I don't recommend any other plastic.

PROS: Great utility disc, better over time.

CONS: I thought I had some at the beginning of the review but I guess I don't :)

*Note about me as a player to help this review be most clear: I am 'intermediate" skill level, usually drive around 275 +/- 25 feet. I throw right handed. Hopefully this allows you to compare to yourself better and please keep in mind what point of view my comments are coming from.

I primarily throw this disc forehand. I throw it in DX plastic and don't find it to be the most consistent flier. I have found it to be good for getting a skip. I bag it more as a utility disc at this point, and find I throw it most often when I need a forehand shot that's not to strong or I don't have a comfortable area to step into the throw. I throw it almost more as a midrange, as I feel more comfortable with this in my hand for a forehand throw than most of my midrange.

150g. It hyzers a lot for me.  The edge on the bottom kinds feels like it cuts my hand a little bit.  It isn't comfortable.  But this is my hyzer disc.

Ok, this is not a disc to take the range and show off to your friends how hard you can throw, so it is absolutely unfair to hold it to that standard. This is what I call my "uh oh" disc. I hate throwing this disc, but I love to have it in my bag. If I throw this disc, I've put myself behind a big tree and I have got to get around it and park the disc on the other side of it and down a ways. Obviously, I hate being in that position, and I never plan on being there! But... alas... disc golf happens! This is an absolute savior of a disc for bad situations. I cannot imagine playing a round without the comfort net of knowing that if I get in trouble, my Banshee will get me out of it. Don't expect this thing to blow by people on drives, or impress on amazing flex shots. It is what it is, and it does the job very well.

One of the very first fairway drivers I bought when I started. I love this disc for forehand and backhand throws, really does battle the wind (and prevails against it). After I started getting better, I started noticing I could tomahawk (overhand) this disc: throw it right and let it turn over and dive down to the left with not a lot of roll.

I love this disc for headwind shots and for forearm shots. I use it mainly for a utility disc or shape shots. It does well for that.

Only time j break this disk out is when a hard/blind left finish is needed. Placement ends about the same as my wraith w a lil hyzer. Use thjs when a staighter approach and sharper fade is needed. All in all it does spend alot of time in the bag, not being thrown

The Banshee is the first disc that I ever bought, and I still carry a DX in my bag today. For me, it is a utility forehand disc. It snaps off clean, stays on line and fades out at about 240-250'. As the DX wears, it loses some stability, but the fade at the end keeps it from turning over, so you can get some nice flex shots out of the bushes (or where ever). Skips like a giddy schoolgirl when thrown flat.
