I've never thrown this disc in the air but since I put it in my bag about 6 weeks ago it has gotten me a few birdies. How? Forehand rollers! It's perfect for long RHFH rollers. If I get it to land perpendicular to the ground it will roll and then turn to the left as it slows. If I put a little angle on it It'll cut to the right and then slowly pop up as it slows. It's changed my approach on some difficult holes.

I was lucky enough to just buy what might have been the last Max in Star plastic you'll see on this or any site for a regular price (I could be wrong - Innova could start making them again) to replace a well-loved one I had for a few years.  So although this review defaulted to 'Champion,' my experience is with a new Star plastic disc. I can't speak for the potential differences.

I use it (RHFH) almost exclusively for anhyzer flex shots. My old Max (175g as is the new one) was still very reliably overstable, but I'm realizing that this disc will require a bit of beating in to duplicate the distance I squeezed out of that old disc. The fade kicks in more quickly. That said, it's still the don of anhyzer flex shot discs, particularly for a forehander so it will be in my bag. Useful, but not for everyone.

This is my favorite disc of all time. It's incredible fade is so predictable, as it comes off of the hand so clean that I can alter my power but expect consistent fade results no matter what. I even have been using it for flex RHBH lately and it does wonders.

It is incredibly overstable, so my flex shots aren't for crazy distance; however, if you torque on this disc it will fly forever. I've actually had this disc for so long that I have it in Star plastic! It's been close to 8 years (I think) and it's incredibly durable. I also use it for FH roller shots at slower speeds- it is so rigid at max weight it plows through grass and maintains it's line.

It is my super utility disc that gets love off of the tee a lot, my oldest most reliable disc. It's OOP and I haven't found anything comparable yet and I may never. If you find one- buy it right now

My favorite disc in my bag hands down, I carry 3 in my bag 2 regular champion and 1 metal flake champion. Perfect for approaches and drives under 320 as well as overhand shots and forehand rollers. Not very friendly to beginners but a must have for players with a strong forehand game.
