There's a reason this disc is one of Lone Star's most popular molds. The Dillo is incredibly neutral, while still maintaining impressive torque-resistance. Equally good for both forehands and backhands, the Dillo is like a slightly flippy Berg, but with a far superior thumbtrack.

Such a unique disc - absolutely fantastic for upshots! Once the disc stops spinning, it drops out of the air quick! The weird shape of the rim does take a little getting used to, but once you have the disc dialed in - it will be a workhorse for you!

My only complaints are that it was less stable than I was expecting, and it's dangerous to throw on a slope as it likes to stand up and roll a looooong ways!

The Armadillo really is a low speed disc. Its often compared to a berg, but I don't throw a berg so I cant say. I will say that the slot I got it for. It doesn't go very far and it goes exactly where you point it. Since im not super consistent with my release that's occasionally problematic but that's on me not the disc. If I throw it hard enough I will get the slightest amount of turn but for the most part this disc is an incredible point-and-shoot disc that is unlikely to fly past the basket for a long putt

The armadillo is what the Berg wishes it could be. It's much more comfortable and feels much better too. The flight is nice and neutral. It will hold anhyzer and hyzer but will turn a bit if thrown flat. It will hyzer flip but in my experience I had to put it on a decent bit of hyzer for it to do so. Because it is thumbtrac, it will basically drop out of the sky but it does so gently and where you want it to. I love the glow plastic too. It's very gummy and glows super well. I loved it so much I bought one in Bravo as well.

Pleasantly surprised by this disc. Picked it up as a Berg alternative at Infinite in the misprint section. Feels great in the hand and has such a fun flight. I feel like it does have more glide than a berg, but it dumps out of the sky at the end of its flight like a berg. Really straight flying and holds angles well.

It's always fun throwing it on an approach, thinking you've thrown past the basket and watching it dump out of the sky before it goes long.

Glow is also really nice. Plastic feels okay, but holds a nice glow.

This is my favorite thumb track putter.

This disc is a bit more shallow and more squared off than a berg. Not so much that it is uncomfortable. It's very comfortable in my hands. I can actually flick it confidently, which I could not do with the berg. This thing excels at getting to the basket slowly and not going too far past.

Does exactly what I wanted all of the one-speed putters I have tried to do. Slow controlled flight that sits down and stays put.

    My go-to putter most days

THEY’RE AMAZING!! They feel/look like an innova pig and a polecat had a baby and they fly like a polecat and a berg mixed together. It’s glidey but also not glidey. Flippy but stable. Also totally straight flyer when needed. Feels great back hand and forehand. I have one in each plastic (Alpha, Bravo, Glow) and they’re all awesome.

You need to try one out if you haven’t!

I've been searching for a low glide, stable approach putter for years. Most of the options I've experimented with were fine for backhand, but most were not torque-resistant enough for forehand purposes. While I don't fault those discs (I'm aware its my poor form) for their lack of forgiveness when given too much off-axis torque, the 'Dillo has been AMAZING. I use this disc for upshots/teeshots up to about ~225 feet. I've only used the disc for 5-6 rounds, so their is a noticeable fade at the end of the flight, but rarely do I see any skip or ground play. This disc is excellent for holding fast greens and getting close to tricky baskets. The plastic feels excelled! It's on the stiff side, but has a little bit of flex which helps it grab the ground. As a side note, the glow is EXTREMELY bright! I don't play night rounds, but this disc would be your best option for playing after dark. If you're a fan of the Berg, Pig, Rhyno, Animal or Slammer then you'll love this disc!
