I rely on this disc to fly straight without much fade at the end. I am still a beginner, so I don't have much arm speed, but it still sails when thrown level.  I have the Sirius and Sirius Helio plastics, and they both hold up well and can take hits.  The Orion is definately one of my top discs and I highly recommend it.

This disc is my go-to straight fairway. I naturally release on a little bit of hyzer flip up to flat and fly flat into a slight fade at the end. Great for hitting gaps and maneuvering through the woods or just executing a straight shot.

I am grateful to all of the reviews calling this a longer buzzz. I had one in Sirius plastic sitting on the shelf that I had found a few years ago and I decided to give it a try based on the fact that the buzzz is my best and favorite disc. I figured the Orion LS deserved a chance to prove itself and it did just that.

For my first throw I decided to throw it on the exact angle and line I would throw my buzzz on; it flipped the same amount, got some great glide and then gently faded back and landed exactly in line with where I was aiming, just like my buzzz except longer. I was stunned, when people were saying its a 9-speed buzzz I didn't expect it to be that similar, but my subsequent shots have all been like that too, it just does what I want it to do. I can get some great distance with this disc because I can throw it so smoothly and control the shape of the flight well while the disc just wants to keep going straight.

I am so happy I gave this one a shot!

Been my go to driver since day 1 14 years or so ago.

There's several reviews that compare it to a Buzzz type driver. Which I couldn't agree more. It'll give you the little bit of S-Shape and landed basically straight on from where you aimed the disc. Hyzer will give it that little bit more fade, anny it holds the line well.

Someone else said a longer Buzzz, and I agree.  This goes straight or might have a tight s-curve.  If you put some anny on it, it holds the line and doesn't turn and burn.  Shapeable disc, and I love it.  My go-to driver.  5 stars

Disc: Sirius Orion LS Run 1.12 - Orange 175g

Feel: The Orion LS is a pretty comfortable 9 speed control driver in the Sirius premium plastic, somewhat flexible with a flat flight plate and grip breaks in from a slightly slick to more grippy. It has a flat bottom to the rim and a slight curvature to the top rim. It is not unlike the Discmania FD or Innova TL3, just a step up in speed. Both forehand and backhand grips, the OLS is comfortable to hold in normal distance driver grips.

Flight: Finishes on the release angle and capable of flying very straight with a slight hyzerflip to flat, finishing flat to slight fade. I've had success finessing some forehands on hyzer and getting the same flights without it fully turning over, only shorter distances.

Really controllable, the OLS can give the same distance as distance drivers without the forward fade at the end, tighter S flight path, and does away with uncertain landing zones. After being worn in, the Sirius OLS has become a flip to flat and hold straight disc out to 350ft+ with great control and consistency in calmer conditions. I've had success adjusting the hyzer angle into headwinds to counter the flip up and still get flights that finish flat or with slightly fade.

Impressions & Comparisons: More comfortable than the Innova Valkyrie forehand and less dome than the Discmania CD2, thought the flight path and distances are similar. The Discmania TDx is also similar and started out with nearly identical feel and flight, but broke in to have a more understable flight. Previously mentioned stock runs of FD and TL3 don't have the same distance potential. All of these disc molds have their own positive traits but I think the OLS may be the best all around

The OLS does a good job to balance out a tendency to hyzer with Sirius breaking in to be slightly understable and Quantum (1.3 metal flake sparkle) having a bit more stability and dome. My typical 9 speed lineup has the Quantum & Sirius OLS right at the middle for slightly overstable to understable flights.

Used this as my main driver for a bit, wasn't bad if you had power to turn it. The plastic is semi-soft and grippy allowing to grab for power but it damages easily with trees and roads. Took a big chunk out of my disc from one road skip.

I bought 2 in 173g and 174g at the same time, ironically the 173g was more stable of the 2. Out of the box you saw little to no turn unless it was a low screamer but with use they started to allow some turn. Once I hit the road with one of the the damage made it very flippy and needed a lot of height to avoid a throller.

If you like millennium and want a good driver, I think this is good if it is in a better plastic to avoid the damage. In soft it can beat in easily for flippy disc or good disc for a first distance driver.

This is a great straight fairway to distance driver. If you're familiar with the Innova Teebird, I would call this its faster slightly less stable sibling. It's got the classic fairway driver shape,  including a medium rim that most hands will find very workable. This was the first disc I was able to throw 300+ft really accurately. It's stable enough to stay on line, but turns enough for medium or lower power players to shape. This review is for the LS or long straight. The LF or long fade is like a slightly less over stable/seasoned Thunderbird.

If you have a Buzzz, this disc the fairway driver for you. Handles the same.

This is an interesting disc I personally don't hear many people throwing. It reminds me a lot of a valkyrie, but a tad more stable. A max weight version of this disc will definitely have a good consistent fade at the end. I live in Oklahoma and I've pulled this thing out just about every round I've played the last month or so. The feel is really nice in a swirly Sirius version, 1.7. Mine can handle flicks, better than a wraith actually. It's a nice complement to my wide rim distance drivers. I recommend picking one of these up.

This was the first disc I ever owned.  I fell in love immediately. Sirius plastic feels great in your hand.  Very reliable and once you start to beat it in you can get it to turn over a little but still will finish left. I carry multiple in my bag just in case I lose one because I don't ever want to be without it.
