I love the his disc. It's straight, very straight. If you put on a line it will hold it. If you put some mussel onto it it will turn over and team will make a predictable turn. Did I mention I love this disc?

It's taking me a little while to get used to, but after just two rounds I have parked quite a few tee shots with this midrange. It is extremely stable and goes right where you throw it. I have a strong feeling I'm going to love this disc a lot moving forward

With a max weight Eclipse Axis, I can shape lines easily. On a flat throw with ~350 feet of power, it will flip slightly and then as it slows down, start panning back to flat. With a little less power (300 feet), it will go straight for most of its flight and then have a really subtle fade of fewer than 10 feet, depending on the height. On an anhyzer, it will start panning out of the angle and actually get flat if you give it enough height. The Axis will also hold a hyzer rather well if it is steep enough.

This disc has taught me a couple things. First, how much my form has improved over the last year. Second, bad form caused me to really misjudge discs. I had put the Axis up about a year ago because I decided it was too "flippy" for me. Wanting to move towards an all Gyro bag, I recently pulled it out for another chance, and fell in love with it. First throw off the tee, I pierced a tunnel shot and parked it.

    So, here's my review...

This disc is awesome! Because it consistently goes straight with very little effort. As we all know, this is the hardest disc golf shot to achieve. Thank God I had enough sense to try it again. Now that my form is better and I don't try to throw everything as hard as I can, the Axis is a perfect midrange for me. Basically, a point and shoot disc. Who can't use that in their bag? The flight numbers are spot on... straight with a lot of glide.

Got a 177g eclipse glow.  Much more fade than advertised.  Not a big fan of this disc.  Got a Tangent 2 weeks later and that thing is awesome, would go tangent over this disc all day for the same distance / slot in the bag

This was one of the first discs that I ever really loved.  A buddy of mine gave me a Roc and it was solid.  Once I found out MVP made a competitor to that, I was excited.  It wasn't until I had played a few rounds with it that I really got into it though.  For a beginner, it will go straight with a gentle, reliable fade.  However, it's best used in the hands of someone with a bit of power.  Thrown flat, it is arrow straight, without any fade at all.  If you are looking for something that flies like a Roc3 but is in a tougher plastic that is more resistant to beating in, this is the disc for you.  I recommend it in the Eclipse plastic.

Whoa! Let me tell you about the Axis. I just completed a single disc round with my Glow Eclispe proton Axis and shaved 3 strokes of my round with the previous round having all my discs available. This disc has a slight turn so to get this bad boy straight, slight hyzer out of your hand. One drive I threw went 315' ( out drove my Tern on the same hole by 10'). Great disc!! Works well as a putter too. Very accurate!!

I really can't completely describe my love for MVP discs. After playing for a few months with mostly Innova discs (no disc shops in my area, just Dick's Sporting Goods), I decided to try something different. After reviewing info online, I decided to try out some MVP. It was one of the best decisions I made. They are beautifully constructed 2 piece discs with the inner plastic, and the durable plastic outer ring. I have this disc in a 172g glow proton. I threw 165g or less discs previously, but I don't notice the weight difference at all. I had a few form flaws that worked out completely with throwing MVP's. Now I am able to throw these really well, as well as other discs that weren't flying that great for me before. I throw my Vector mostly, it goes straighter for me with less fade at the end. The Axis goes straight and turns sharper at the end for me. The 2 compliment each other greatly in my bag! I know these discs are a little more money that some other comparable discs, but they are well worth it. I would recommend any of the line of MVP's to everyone.
