Plasma Details

MVP Plasma is a premium plastic blend that combines performance with a stunning metallic sheen. Plasma plastic has slightly better grip than Neutron plastic and stands somewhere between neutron and neutron soft in terms of softness and flexibility. Plasma plastic allows MVP to add different amounts of dome to MVP golf discs.

Holy mother of headwinds, the Dimension cuts through those gusts like its nobodies business while still garnering a ton of distance. I can't speak for other plastics, but the Dimension in plasma is a chunky and overstable max distance driver. Also, its surprisingly flat-topped for a disc with 5 glide. Thrown flat in fair weather, I see about 350 of dead straight push before it starts hooking up for a fade that rides out for as long as it can. This disc loves to skip when thrown low and fast. I'll typically reserve this one for sharp flex lines, big sky hyzers, stretching doglegs, and headwind drives. I can't justify using this disc more often because of its overstability, so it remains in my bag as a specialist.
