The MVP Nitro is a stable-overstable distance driver from the new high-speed 23mm class.  Nitro falls in the general stability lineage of Servo, Volt, Tesla, and Photon, with a turn-resistant profile that covers ground and guarantees a fade finish.  Average throwers may need lighter weights or headwinds to achieve what little turn is offered by Nitro. Power throwers will find a workable and responsive shallow turn.

Great disc for forehand, even for beginners. Found it in the weeds and now it is one of my favorites!

One of my first go's with MVP and must say that I am pleased. I love the feel of the plastic and rim compared to other companies. This disc is not that beginner friendly as it is quite overstable. Wouldn't mind if it was a tad less overstable, yet if you are getting better, trying this disc is not bad. When it gets beat-in, it really is quite good

Very over stable, wide-rimmed.  I use it when I need a short 90 degree turn or in heavy wind.  It feels good in hand (as do all MVPs due to their overmold designs).

This is currently the beefiest disc in my bag.  I throw an Octane as my normal max distance driver, but the Nitro only comes out when I am throwing into a heavy wind or need a big S to navigate around obstacles.

Good disc, does its job, but unless you are a true bomber or have a ton of OAT this disc is not going to give you max distance.

I got a 162g hoping to get "some" turn out of it... but the high speed stability (and high-energy arcing fade) even at the lighter weight is too much for a full flight with my flat release RHBH.  I really have to flex it for distance (a little difficult for me to do with the dome of this disc) but I don't have to worry about it ever turning over if I give it too much anny.  Even then though I get more distance for the effort from my Missilens thrown flat (and truth be told from hyzer flipping any Boss).  It does not skip and that is sometimes what you need... throw it where you want it to stop.  It does not like tailwinds that reduce its glide and bring the fade very early.  The Nitro shines though on long hyzers and does give me the turn I wanted if thrown RHFH... flying much farther than my Enforcer and Rask in that distance FH slot.  Four stars for that plus it just looks as if it were hewn from granite when in flight shrugging off any blustery wind not of the tail variety.  I hope it will season into a longer BH distance driver for me after some encounters with trees... but as unwavering and energetic as it is right now I half expect it to go through trees rather than bounce off of them.

This disc is a great hyzer line thrower, and is also fantastic for long distance forehand shots. It's one of MVP's faster discs more along the lines of a 13 speed on a normal scale.

It's a disc that needs a good amount of use, if you want it to become not so stable, it's definitely more of a long hyzer shot, than a straight shooter.
If you are looking for a great long distance meet-hook like disc this is a great one to try.

It's not the most beginner friendly that is for sure, being quite fast. However, I find it to be a great addition to my ever growing MVP/Axiom collection.

Side Note: The flashing on the edge rim for my purchase was a little sharp. It definitely needs a couple hits to break it in a bit. It may have been just my run, but it's something to look out for.

First and foremost...   a very special thznks to Dylan at infinite discs.  He was able to respond to an email in time and adjust my order.  Thank you Dylan!!

The Nitrois a sleek disc.  I play out of Prescott, Az and we have some altitude, and mostly windy conditions.  I tgrew this a couple of times at the park and I love the flight charecteristics.  For me, there was very little turn, and its fade isn't as harsh as I thought.  The disc holds tight lines for sure and s fade is maybe a 2:00 heading but still moving forward.  I was able to throw just left of my target and it would go straight for most of the flight until its finishing fade.  I was able to put some mean anhyzer on it and it woukd hold that line but maybe 3/4 of tye flight it would snap back over, hold for a tad and finish with nice fade at the end.  So for my first few flights it did indeed handle wind in all directions like a boss with a tighter line snd longer fade finish.  I am very pleased and will update later.  Very nice disc.

I am building an MVP bag after falling in love with the motion.  I justbpicked up the envy, fireball, and energy along with the Nitro.  All discs made it into my bag immediately.

The Nitro is a great new intro to the MVP line. In my mind it is their first real stable bomber disc. It has a unique flight in that it is extremely high speed stable, but does not fade quite as hard as similar discs.

It's a lot like a Boss, but feels better to me and though it turns a bit less, and fades hard, but not quite as hard as a new Champ Boss.

It will fight out of an anyhyzer but not as quickly as some discs in this class.

The feel is shallow which makes it easier to grip the large rim. The plastic is a durable slightly gummy blend that in some colors is more translucent than in others.

The rim shows some abuse, but none worse than you would expect.

Overall a really nice intro by MVP that could easily be the main driver for many players with good power.

The Nitro is a very fast disc with more turn than I expected.  I was assuming it would have similar flight to the Photon, but found it closer to the Phase.  I was ripping the max weight at full power and was getting very little turn out of it.  Going down to a 165g I was able to get a little more turn, but still nothing like a max weight Photon.

I have noticed with all of the 23mm discs, there is a noticeable plastic flashing line along the edge of the disc.  I'm not certain if this is intentional or not, but it actually caused quite a bit of discomfort in my palm after a few rounds with them.  I'm certain it will eventually wear off, and I know this is common in other brands, but I've always appreciated that MVP disc's manufacturing process didn't leave flashing lines so I'm a little disappointed.

Tried out the Nitro for the first time today, and it was a pretty nice MVP disc. The new thicker rim feels comfortable in the hand and releases well. For me this threw just like a longer Photon like it says in the description. I think MVP throwers will be happy overall with this disc!

Very fast disc, definitely really good for someone who has a powerful sidearm or backand, flies extremely similar to a brand new champion boss. for most it will be a solid headwind disc or one that will fight back hard and skip. for those with a very powerful arms they will find it to a very good answer to a champion boss. it flies very well.

I was able to get some pretty good distance with the Nitro, but that was throwing a 161g disc. I don't have the most powerful throwing arm, so I couldn't maximize on the potential of this new, high-speed disc. I do like the feel of the wider rims and liked the flight path. It just fades on me earlier that other distance drivers I've tried. I would definitely recommend this disc to the more seasoned players who like the speed 13 and speed 14 drivers, but wouldn't hand it to a novice player. Great job, MVP, on the new wider rim models!
