The Relativity is the more understable distance driver of the 24.5mm "wide rim" class of drivers from MVP. The Relativity allows controllable turnovers, rollers, and high line distance shots. While the disc will normally land more on the understable side of its launch point, it's high-speed design forces an ending fade that can bring the disc out of unwanted turnovers.

This disc is a handful, and i have big hands. Definitely touchy to angles, but will bomb it ftrown with proper spin and flat. I have also found some utility with forehands and tomahawks, but this disc doesnt come out of my bag often. I did just have my farthest ever drive with this disc, it followed the exact flight pictured above and went 481' RHBH. For reference, my previous farthest drive was 411' with a Neutron Wave.

The Relativity is a phenomenal disc for those with high arm speeds. At those high arm speeds, it will fly as advertised - holding anhyzer from a flat release, until slowing fighting out near the end of the flight.
If you don't have high release speed, this disc is horrid, becoming super sensitive to hyzer angle and wind. I would not start throwing this disc until you hit 350 ft with a midrange.

My Neutron Relativity (174g) flies like a perfectly seasoned Corvette. I have a natural slight hyzer release and the Relativity gives me more distance with less effort than my Halo Tern. Excellent disc to get up to speed and enjoy the extended but not overly aggressive turn before it tucks back in for a nice finish.

Flight numbers are accurate. The path it will follow is similar to throwing an Axiom Insanity, but this one will fade at the end of the flight a little and has the potential to take a skip too. The Insanity seems ot just park wherever it lands.

This disc does really well with hyzer flips too. Release it on a sharp hyzer and it will flip up near flat and eat up a ton of distance with a slight fade and a skip at the end.

The most pleasant surprise about this disc was how well it works as a roller. I have been working on rollers for the past few months but have been having trouble getting the additional distance required for me to gamble on the unpredctability of the where it will end up. I ripped this one on a 450ft par 3 that you have to be able to drive on a hyzer to reach. My max distance for an air back hand throw on a constant hyzer flight path is about 400ft. I ripped this disc as a roller just to see what would happen and it ended up about 20 feet past the hole. Getting 470 feet out of roller now legitimately puts the roller throw as part of my arsenal.

The relativity is branded as an "understable distance driver." However, to the average golfer, the speed of this disc tends to make it closer to stable. For myself it was a very straight shooting distance driver but was very sensitive to changes in the release angle.

It has a very wide rim - my only hesitation in saying this disc is beginner friendly. It used to be my longest distance driver but as my arm has strengthened and the disc has worn in it has started to be a really flippy disc, and if I'm not careful can turn and burn. I still like it when I have a strong right-to-left wind (I'm RHBH) or for really long hyzerflip shots.

Just because this thing looks understable, does not make it beginner friendly. I had no idea when I got this disc just how big of a difference the 24.5 rim would be. I had been throwing the Catalyst very very comfortably and got some amazing shots out of it and thought the Relativity was going to be a faster big brother to the Catalyst. I was sadly disappointed in this. I'm sure the disc flies well for some people, but just not me. I could never get the spin needed on this disc to get a true flight path as compared to my other discs. The 24.5 rim was just too much for me. This disc was very uncomfortable in the hand with the sharp edge and big rim. I love MVPs stuff and will continue to throw it, but this disc was never more than something I'd try to throw in a field to show off. It was too awkward of a disc for me to trust in a round.

I feel this is the first high speed distance driver that actually exceeds expectations and delivers on all of the superlatives and praise heaped on it. It's also one of the few drivers out there that does something unique compared to all the other manufacturers; I've never felt a driver that is so sharp with such a wide rim and aerodynamic profile, not to mention having the gyro rim which MVP pioneered.

This thing cuts through the wind like a hot knife through butter. Upon release, it is noticeably faster flying through the air than any of my other discs. I can drive between 350' - 400', and this disc consistently gets 20-40 feet more distance than any of my other drives. This is not hyperbole.

I feel it's not quite as understable as advertised, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. If thrown flat I can get it to turn a bit for a majority of its flight flight before it fades back. If thrown on a hyzer I can get it to flip up and glide straight before coming back and fading.

This thing has replaced my Daedalus and DDx. I think I'm going to get a few more to cycle in, and I can't wait for one to beat up significantly, as I have a feeling it will become a BEAST of a roller. I HIGHLY recommend this disc to anyone that can drive further than 325' and are looking for a new max distance driver.

This disc is pretty amazing. I don't have the strongest arm so a speed 14 driver may have been a little excessive, but regardless this disc flies true to it's numbers. Pretty understable and can actually handle a bit of anhyzer with a weaker arm. Very easy to turn over for long roller shots and it definitely proves it's understable nature on hyzer shots. It flips up and turns a fair amount right (RHBH) and fades pretty hard left at the end. Probably would go a bit slower for a beginner, maybe an Impulse or Inertia.

The plastic on this is slightly stiffer than I'd like for a driver and the neutron plastic can be a little slick when the weather is warmer.  The rim is borderline too wide however the rim depth is deep enough so that you can still get a decent grip on the disc.

Having said that I found this to be furthest flying disc.  In the 350-380' range thrown flat I found this disc to be only slightly understable with a decent fade.  The Relativity and the Innova Shryke are my furthest flying discs with the Relativity edging it out slightly yet more consistently.  For forehand I found the Shryke to be more comfortable due to the rim not being as wide.

If you throw in the 350-450' range this disc might be the furthest flying disc out there for you.  Highly recommended!

This disc bombs. It is a bit flippy and after using it as my workhorse distance driver it started to turn a bit, but I loved the feel and flight out of it so much that I ordered more to cycle a bit without a question (already pretty durable as it is an overmold, so you can tell how much I used it). I max out around 430 feet of distance on a typical day in the open field, and I can consistently hit around 380-390 on the course with this disc. very straight and reliable. huge fan.

This is the most consistently farthest disc I have thrown. I average 480-500ft with this mold and have looks at Eagles for a few local holes, where I wasn't getting those looks before.

The Octane + Relativity take care of all my long distance needs. I'm really happy I took a chance on this disc.

If you throw 420-450ft and want to break that wall, grab this disc.

The Relativity is a disc that I flick with a slight hyzer.  It flips up to flat, turns out around 30 ft, cruises straight out to around 380 ft, and fades pretty hard back near the centerline.  I disc up to the Teleport in headwinds/downhill and down to the Tenacity for tailwind/up hills.

I get around 60 ft longer drives with this and the Teleport vs any other driver that's controllable for me on a real course.  I can get these out to around 380 ft.  I can throw this through tight 10'x10' gaps at 100ft from the tee repeatably.  My local course has a gap between two branches on a large tree that form a triangle with another tree.  The pin is 330 ft and uphill from the tee.   With around 80% power, I can drop the Relativity or Teleport right next to the pin.  I used to have to throw my Photon at 100% power to get the same throw (but I only hit the gap half as often).

My longest throws have been with Kings, Knights, and Freedoms (extreme flick hyzer at 30 to 45 deg to vertical), but I can't use them in the wind or reliably (or on a course).  More of an "open field only" play.  Great to crush a 450 ft drive, but not so great when your "in the fairway" percentage drops to <5%.

I'm a bit of a noodle arm, at least I was until I threw a Relativity.  Most of my distance drivers top out at 330-350'.  Today I threw my Relativity for the first time.  I've had it for two months but figured it's out of my class.  I ripped a couple forehand shots in a field, they went low and straight and just kept going.  They both went about 400, in headwind and in backwind.  The disc just didn't slow down at all, I've never seen anything like it.  It cut through the air for 400' at the same speed it left my hand.  I'm tempted to try a Teleport now.

This disc is REALLY fast, and can go really far. I tested a Relativity out and had a friend who throws really far chuck it as well. When he threw it as it left his hand and was in flight he said "that really doesn't glide much" but then as it landed at about 480 feet, it turns out that it did glide far. It just flys so fast that he underestimated the distance it was going. After that throw he said, "maybe I need to throw MVP."

Now relative to most serious, competitive disc golfers, I am a weak arm player. I really struggle to get any wide rimmed driver to "flip up" but was able to get a really nice distance flight out of the Relativity. For me this disc definitly faded a lot at the end of the flight though and while I could get it to fly straight and slightly turn right for a little bit it always had a very big low speed fade.

Before throwing the Relativity, I figured that the wide rim would be way too uncomfortable in my hand with the sharp point and not so soft plastic, but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't notice any dis comfort from throwing this disc, and didn't find the feel of it to be too wide for my smaller than average hands.

If you can throw decent distance, and are looking for something to give you some more, you may want to try the MVP Relativity as it just might be your new go to for max D.

I had the chance to go out and do some field work with a handful of the newly released MVP/Axiom molds today, and when it was all said and done, I can say that the Relativaty was by far my favorite disc. It took me a few throws to get my bearings with the Gyro discs like it usually does when I test them, but once I started to get a good hold of the Relativity, this thing was a bomber. The disc snapped out very well. I'd release on a slight hyzer, and it would just pop up and hold straight for a very long time and then eventually it had a very soft fading finish at the end. As I got on to write the review, I was somewhat surprised to see how understable this was rated, but I think that has been par for the course with me and MVP/Axiom Discs. There are only a few that I would really call understable. I know I don't have the most powerful arm out there, but there are discs with similar ratings that I have found to be too understable for me. But the MVP Relativity was a fantastic disc to throw, and I'd hands down recommend it to any MVP/Axiom thrower!

Also for those who haven't thrown any of the newer super high speed drivers from the Gyro line, they are definitely a handful, and I would say they aren't as comfortable in the hand as regular plastic discs are. I felt like the rims dug into my palm and I felt it more after throwing several in a row--more than I have ever felt when doing field work with my regular high speed drivers that I keep in my bag. So, just a word of warning for those who haven't thrown them yet. But that being said, the Relativity really was a fantastic and fun disc to throw!

Okay, so the Relativity is a bomber! This is the first MVP/Axiom disc that I have been personally super impressed with. This thing will flip up and hold an anny line forever and ever. It'll finally fade back at the end for max distance! It reminds me a lot of the Westside Destiny.

Now, I love flippy high speed drivers, they're just so much fun to watch. Traditionally, MVP discs seemed to always fade out on me, but this one really soars. If thrown on a huge anny it'll just hold it almost all of the way to the ground. When thrown flat or with a slight hyzer it'll pop up nicely and coast understable for a long time.

Next I'm gonna try rolling with it... I think it's just stable enough that you could plant a back hand roller and have it go forever.

The rim is huge, which I'm okay with. It doesn't feel too much different than the Katanas I throw a lot, and it wasn't noticeably sharp or uncomfortable. So try one of these, they are super fun!

I absolutely loved the MVP Teleport as a wide-rimmed distance driver that could really get out there. So, when the Relativity was released, I took it along with my shiny, new Teleport out to a large field so I could throw them back-to-back and see the difference.

After reading the description of the Relativity, I imagined that it would be much more understable (bordering on a roller), but that absolutely was not the case. The difference between the two discs when thrown backhand with moderate power was very minimal. I could tell that the Relativity was slightly less stable, but the edge is sharp enough and the disc fast enough that it really fought back for a final fade, even when thrown on an anhyzer angle. I personally wouldn't be able to use the Relativity as a roller (either I'm not a powerful enough thrower, or I just can't get it to flip over enough).

On a couple of my back-to-back throws, I got the Teleport and Relativity to land within 5 feet of each other after a 350 foot throw. Usually the Relativity landed more to the understable side (right side, since I'm right-handed), but again, it wasn't a huge difference. I would say that the Relativity always faded back to at least "zero" and that is throwing at 4500 foot elevation.

If you don't like wide rims, then you won't like the Relativity, because this rim size is as wide as they legally get. But if you love wide-rim, high-speed drivers, then this is certainly a winner for distance and control. Now I have to get another shiny, new Relativity to add to my distance driver arsenal.
