The Wave is the second wide-rimmed, high-speed distance driver released in the MVP line. This disc is moderately stable and described as a longer Inertia. For high-speed throws, the Wave will exhibit long gliding turnovers and hyzer flips. Low-power players will find the Neutron Wave to be overstable, but useable for a variety of different shots.

The max weight cosmic neutron wave that I received flies like a longer firebird. I'm no Albert Tamm, but I'm also no noodle arm, and this thing just does not turn at all, has mild glide, with a strong fade at the end of the flight. I've done some research and it sounds like pretty much every mold in cosmic neutron is more OS than normal because of something in production making every disc come out very flat. Now, I like the disc and it is useful, but it is not the disc that I was expecting when I bought it. It's taken some hard tree hits over the past 6-8 months and has only gotten mildly less OS. Maybe it'll beat in to be closer to the flight numbers, maybe it won't. Either way, it's in the bag.

I have a max weight Wave.  This disc feels very comfortable in the hand.  The rim doesn't feel too bulky or uncomfortable.  I like to use this disc as my main distance driver for straight shots.  It will turn and burn in a headwind, but handles a tailwind very nicely.  I think once it beats in a little it will hit that -2 turn perfectly, but out of the box it is a little beefier than the numebrs indicate.

The wave is a great disc for intermediate to advanced players looking for that slight flip up to flat drive. I will say the cosmic neutron run is a little less flippy then I had hoped for but is a solid thrower in the bag!

I have the 159g Neutron. This thing right out of the box flies very understable. I'd say the turn rating should be a -3 and not -2. Great for hyzer flips and it absolutely bombs. It is my furthest flying disc
