The Prodigy F5 is a straight-flying fairway driver that's not quite as understable as the current F7. At 1.9cm tall, the F5 is significantly taller than the existing fairway drivers, which all have a height of 1.5cm. This disc is very domey and has a wing length, or rim width of 1.8cm, just like all the other Prodigy fairways.

Got a new F5 in 400S plastic and after a few rounds of breaking it in, it's doing exactly what I want from it. I can get good distance, slotting in nicely between my midrange and drives, but with the accuracy of a mid, since I'm using a standing throw. Takes a gentle S flight with a soft landing, making it good for tight tunnels too. Unlike the 350G version I had, I can really put my arm into it without it getting wonky on me. I rated that one not beginner-friendly, but I think this would be a good starting driver to learn on. Just get it in 400S plastic.

I bought this disc specifically for a few holes I play where I need something that just holds a left-right line for a good distance and it does just that. It is a bit tricky to control, and I haven't mastered it yet. Pull too hard and it will cut harder/sooner than you want. I need to get one in 400/s/g plastic though because the 350G deformed a bit after some hard tree hits and just doesn't seem to fly the same since. It fills a specific niche very nicely but is not an everyday disc unless you play a lot of L-R holes.
