The Prodigy F5 is a straight-flying fairway driver that's not quite as understable as the current F7. At 1.9cm tall, the F5 is significantly taller than the existing fairway drivers, which all have a height of 1.5cm. This disc is very domey and has a wing length, or rim width of 1.8cm, just like all the other Prodigy fairways.

I initially bought the F5 when I lost my favorite, well-beat-in FD a couple of weeks before a tournament and needed a quick replacement. It seemed like a good option—and that was over four years ago. I still bag them and would go as far as to call it a staple part of my game. I'm now on my second or third F5 and won’t be getting rid of them anytime soon.

If you're like me and prefer to take on long tunnels with hyzer, then this is the disc for you. It always turns, and with the right amount of hyzer, you can make that happen anywhere from 100 to 350 feet down the fairway. If you’re able to keep it in the air long enough, it will come back at the end—especially when it’s fresh out of the box.

You can shape it to fit almost any fairway. In open field throws, I’ve been able to get it up to 430 feet. Highly recommend!

The F5 was a big surprise in the fairway slot from Prodigy. It is a very useful and needed fairway driver for slower armspeed players and anytime you need to carve lines in the woods. The F5 can be manipulated in many ways to get it to fly in the woods. I was able to throw it on hyzer and depending on power, get it to flip up and hyzer out, flip up and go dead straight or flip up and turn over. It takes a good amount of time and touch to figure out what angles are needed to hit all those lines but when you do it can feel like a do it all fairway. I really liked throwing it flat and smooth trusting it to flip over a little but usually end on a nice flat line very far. I think all slower armspeed players should pick up an F5 for their straight flying fairway as it will do a ton of the work for you and not need to be overthrown to get the full flight. I would recommend the F5 to anyone who enjoys that slower 7 speed rim size and wants a straight flier that can be manipulated to get most shots.

I'm liking the F5 in 750 quite a bit. It's incredibly comfortable to throw and is great for straight and/or turnover shots depending on angle and speed. It takes very little arm speed to get it to go straight and loves finishing flat. I just recently had a bad shot and threw it so high in the air and immediately was thinking oh crap this is going way left, but it basically stalled and dropped like a putter only going 6-10ft left (and dropping 70ft out of the air). I was kind of in shock and awe watching how that flight played out.

I love this disc, this is my most thrown disc on any wooded course.

I didn't know what love was until I threw the 750 plastic. I am under a firm belief that this disc will survive a nuclear war. Thousands of throws, full power into trees...it takes the bark off, the disc has yet to develop a scratch.

When I first was throwing this disc I was expecting the flight numbers...but then I found out...PRODIGY DOESN'T HAVE FLIGHT NUMBERS. For a reason, I got out of my own head and just threw the disc, game changing (flight numbers don't matter). When I first threw it I wasn't confident so it flew like an Innova Eagle-X, then I started really working on it, and now I realize that it flies like "if a Leopard3/Maverick got a job and learned to play disc golf." Hyzer flip to straight finish, BIG turnover shot, oddly very consistent touch forehand disc. This disc does not have the glide of other discs, I would say this disc is for control not distance.

This disc was my first prodigy disc. The "easy-release rim" stilly at first, awesome down the road. Kicked out every understable fairway in my bag. I am excited to try more Prodigy and I can't recommend this mold enough.

The F5 is easily my favorite speed 7/8 driver out of any brand. The 750 F5 will fly dead straight for a very long time before fading a bit. The only issue I have is how much each plastic affects the F5: the 750 flies very straight with little to no turn, 400/400G shows turn and still fades, and any more baseline plastics will turn and turn.

Seasoned 750 F5s will give you the most reliable hyzerflip fariway driver or tailwind fairway driver you can ask for. You don't have to go full power to get tons of distance s these fly a little faster than the other F series discs from Prodigy. If you're looking for a single mold of fairway to cover all your controlled shots, look no further than the F5.

Very overstable for what is advertised, just not a very great disc.
