While this midrange in the Prodigy Ace Line takes on the "US" moniker for "understable" the disc is actually more of a straight-flyer for all-purpose use on the disc golf course. It has a comfortable rim configuration and is easy to handle for all players.

The M Model US in BaseGrip plastic IMO is one of the most versatile discs on the market! The plastic is extremely grippy but maintains it's durability much longer than other "base-plastic" counterparts. Often times it is a challenge to put any type torque on an an understable mid in fears of it burning out and cut rolling half way into its flight. I have thrown this disc on every line possible, from 30% power to 100% power; if you hit your angle right, this disc simply preforms. The MMUS is as advertised, if you are looking for a trusty hyzer flip to turnover midrange, that will never pan out, this is the disc for you! Budget friendly and always in stock, couldn't recommend highly enough!

I find this to be the straightest disc I've thrown. It can turn over on ya but generally within 270 this is my go to between trees and hitting my line.

Slightly understable midrange, has a nice smooth rim that's easy to get clean releases with. I thought the flight was good and it did what it was supposed to which was to fly straight with a consistent and small amount of turn and almost no fade. . I like the base grip plastic, it has good grip and holds up pretty well (better than DX, in the realm of the putter pro type plastics).

Another good disc made by Prodigy. This was a disc that I enjoyed throwing. I'm not sure what they mean by "US" though. I initially thought it stood for Understable, which this disc is not, hence my confusion. The numbers indicate it will be a fairly neutral flying disc. But then, they went and printed that this is a overstable disc. Looking at the stock stamp, you might get confused as to what this disc does. I'm here to tell you to look at the numbers, those are an accurate representation to what this disc will do.

Upon throwing this midrange, I found it to have a neutral flight path. I would say less stable than a Discraft Buzzz. Flies pretty straight when thrown flat. Throwing the disc flat with a lot of power, will result in a anhyzer finish. The M Model US, will hold a good gentle, or aggressive, anhyzer. Hyzer lines with this disc is where it is challenged a bit. It will hold a hyzer line, but it does almost come to flat and flies slightly straight longer than I would like. It is basically a slightly faster version of the P Model US. Flicking the disc, wasn't too difficult. I had a good amount of control over the disc.

This plastic has a nice feel to it. The rim has a good depth to it for my liking. This plastic holds up fairly well. Throwing it point blank, 80% power, into the ground did leave a mark, and slightly bent the disc - it lays just slightly off of flat now, I was able to bend it back. So If you find yourself throwing discs into a tree just a few feet away from the teepad/throwing spot, you might bend it, or get the next best plastic.

Overall, I think this is probably a really good beginner's first disc. Even the most seasoned player can find some enjoyment out of this disc. It fits comfortably in the hand, leading to easy control over the disc. It is reliable in what the numbers tell you it will do.

I would recommend this disc to any beginner, and especially to someone buying their first disc. I would also recommend it to someone who is working to learn how to manipulate a disc's flight path.

Throwing a basegrip plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.
