While this midrange in the Prodigy Ace Line takes on the "US" moniker for "understable" the disc is actually more of a straight-flyer for all-purpose use on the disc golf course. It has a comfortable rim configuration and is easy to handle for all players.

This is a great straight flying mid range.  If thrown with a lot of power it will turn over

I was really surprised by this disc - I love the profile of the rim, very round mako3-esque top with a flat chamfered underside: almost a Mako3 with an Aviar bottom, or an MD top with a P2 bottom, for those of you in the InnovaMania world. Great feel in the hand.

FLIGHT: The flight was what really surprised me: this disc is just incredibly straight flying. I have never thrown (or seen) a disc that flies this straight. Many of my mids react similarly at high speed (my beat-up MD3s, for instance, have a similar "tiny hyzer flip up to flat" when thrown hard), but this disc has almost zero fade. I even tried throwing some very short shots with it (100ft approaches), and even at low speeds it hardly pushes left at all (from a RHBH throw). I'm sure there are other discs that have similar characteristics, but I found it surprising to see a disc simply finish forward and straight right out of the box. It was also surprisingly torque-resistant. I didn't have any trouble throwing it 300' without worrying about it turning over.

PLASTIC: The duraflex plastic is interesting - very similar I would say to Innova's current run of "driver Pro" type plastic: somewhat flexible and with a smooth, tacky surface, not fully opaque but certainly not see-through. Really nice for the price point, although I have yet to see how it wears.

Overall, I'm excited to see what else Prodigy has in store for the Ace line. The price/quality ratio is pretty exceptional!
