The Prodiscus Laseri is a neutral disc with a flight rating that is similar to the RESPECTi, but not quite as overstable. With the name like “Laser” you’d expect this disc to be a fast, straight-flyer -- and it delivers.

As the name would suggest, these tend to be Lazer straight! Plastic feels great as always from Prodiscus, and the mold feels great in the hand. We've thrown these in both Premium and Ultrium plastic, and while the premium might be a hair more OS than the ultrium ones, they're both super straight and reliable fairway drivers. Definitely worth a try!

Prodiscus has a great line of discs and Laseri is one of it's standouts. The Laseri is an absolute workhorse for a fairway driver. The flight numbers do not line up and seem rather bizarre for a disc with this much glide. Laseri can be powered up for a nice s-curve and can give you great distance. The true beauty of the Laseri is in it's name as for how straight this disc can and will fly, even powered down. I've also found Laseri to be nice for gentle forehand shots that you want to glide. The lines I've been able to shape, along with the excellent glide and trustworthy stability of Laseri earn it's place as a staple in my bag. For those interested in Prodiscus plastics be aware that the basic plastic is no where near as stable as their premium plastics and the premium plastics take a very long time to break in. Prodiscus basic plastic is fantastic for their Sparta putter but beats in very quickly for drivers.

First review! My Laseri is 175 Grape, Premium plastic. Weird color on the disc, but after I threw this disc, I didn't care that it was a crappy color. First, the plastic feels amazing. It does remind me of Prodigy's plastic material, but Prodiscus feels more comfortable in the hand.

When thrown on a backhand anhyzer release, this disc turns a little and stays really straight for a long time. Not much low speed stability on this disc. When thrown flat, it stays super straight for most of the flight and then hyzers out. This disc is amazing for hyzer shots because it holds the angle and it glides for a long time. This means that it stays in the air for a while and still finishes left with a skip. Sidearm shots are also pretty good with this disc, due to the straight flight. I was seeing similar sidearm flights between this Laseri and my Stalker. On a really powerful flick, the Laseri turns over quite a bit, but keeps going forward. If sidearm shots are thrown with a hyzer, that's when you will see the best results with this disc. I told myself that I wasn't going to use this disc in the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships, which were 6 days away when I got this, but I trusted this disc completely within 3 days. I recommend this disc to any disc golfer and I'm looking forward to throwing another Prodiscus disc.
