The Prodiscus Laseri is a neutral disc with a flight rating that is similar to the RESPECTi, but not quite as overstable. With the name like “Laser” you’d expect this disc to be a fast, straight-flyer -- and it delivers.

The hype is real. This disc is laser straight and super long. The glide rating stamped on the disc (4) doesn't come close to doing the Laseri justice. It glides like the longest discs in my bag (MVP Wave, Latitude 64 Sapphire), but unlike those slightly under-stable drivers, the Laseri doesn't even blink left or right along the way.  When I have to hit a narrow gap between trees that seems impossibly far away, I immediately reach for the Laseri. I've made so many hero throws with this disc, it's not even funny. It holds a straight line similar to my Axiom Craves, but covers the ground of a true distance driver.  The 9-speed rating seems right but the glide has to be closer to a 6.

Personal Background: Beginner/Intermediate player.  I mostly throw RHBH, though I've recently added the forehand shot to my game.  While I don't recommend this disc for forehands (at my current skill level, at least) I can bomb with this thing from the tee with a RHBH shot.  I use it mainly for holes that are less wooded and that give me some open room to add some power without fear of ending up in the thick;  and in those scenarios this is now my go-to disc.  Some of my friends who are far more experienced started to take notice when I started throwing the Laseri.  I now get comments like "Wow!  You have stepped up your game!" but in all honesty, I credit this disc.  And as other reviewers have noted, the Prodiscus Ultrium plastic is one of the best on the market.  Personally, I consider Innova Champion as the yardstick that I measure everything else against, and Ultrium is right there with it, if not better.  It's definitely a little grippier than Champion.  I can honestly see players of all skill levels finding a use for this one, but if you're a beginner to intermediate player, you should definitely pick one of these off.  It will shave strokes off your game.  I finished my first round ever under par recently mostly throwing this thing from the tee.
