The Kiwi is designed as a steady, dependable fairway/distance driver crossover, for a variety of shots. With more power it flies stable to moderately overstable. With a controlled release at moderate speed, it has a steady, workable fade that you can count on. This is a great driver in the hands of experienced or inexperienced players.

Is this a Tilt? But with a dome.

RPM makes great plastic. This mold is USDA certified BEEF.

This is RPM Discs Beef Cake, lol.  But in all seriousness this disc likes to faaaaade.  It wont dump super hard as it does have some decent glide but it will have a very reliable fade.  Great for hard hyzer and skip shots around corners.  This disc wont get you big distance but it will be very consistent in its flight.

This is the Innova Firebird or Discraft Raptor of RPM ever since they re-tooled it from its original run, with a touch more glide. I LOVE this disc. It is just as reliable as my Firebird was since I have switched almost exclusively to RPM. The Atomic Plastic feels AMAZING in the hand and is more grippy than Star in my opinion, but still just as durable. You also can't argue with the colors of these discs! RPM has some of the prettiest discs in Disc Golf! If you are looking for a Firebird or Raptor equivalent, look no further than this disc! I say that it is not beginner friendly, because you will not get the utility you should out of it. This disc will go straight and then fade hard if thrown flat with good power, but you can spike hyzer this thing or even go full anhyzer flex and trust that it will finish hard left (RHBH). Windy? No problem. This disc will fight and still have that super predictable finish. For those of you who like to throw hard forehands, the Kiwi has the torque resistance to handle it without flipping over.

I bought this disc when it was supposed to be a driver with under stable numbers. What I got was the most over stable disc that I have ever thrown. But not in a bad way. First of all the one I bought is absolutely beautiful. Clear plastic with silver and tiny bronze glitter in it. And of course that awesome Kiwi stamp.

This thing is absolute beef. I mean porterhouse. It cannot be used for distance but as a utility disc it excels. Thrown flat at low speed it can get around a tree and land 180 degrees from where it was thrown. And in a tight radius. Thrown as a driver it will hyzer out of the hand and it will not land flat but will hit vertically on its side. Not a roll forward side landing but a "im going to punch a foot in the ground" heavy landing. Thrown out of the rough it will knock small branches aside and continue on its path. It also is a really good thumber/tomahawk disc. Especially in the woods. Also will skip with a large hyzer flair if thrown low.

To the reviewers who were disappointed because they cant get distance, use it as a utility disc. It is hard to find a better one in my opinion. I use my firebirds more but mainly because they will fly. The Kiwi wont. I get more distance with my Champion Firebird which also is pretty beefy.

Of all of this discs I own I fear loosing this one the most. Not only because of its beauty, but also because it fills a slot that im not sure another disc would fit.

Alright I've never left a review but this disc was too good not to review.I have this disc in both atomic and cosmic and I've thrown every overstable fairway you can think of, but this is my go to it's so overstable but so workable! usually you have to sacrifice one for the other for a disc like this. Most discs are Either too overstable or it's workable but not as reliably overstable. This disc lets you have your cake and eat it too! Stamp is cool there is nothing to hate about this disc try one!! Oh yeah and you can practically throw this into a hurricane and it won't turn over.

So for a long time, I had the Dynamc Criminal as my overstable LHFH, but after a while, it wasn't turning as much as I wanted because my form changed/improved. I already had this disc because I thought it looked dope with the bird stamp. Couldn't initially throw it cause it was to overstable for my arm speed. Now with improved form, I would say this disc is that perfect mix of meathook and distance. This disc has definitely earned a spot in my bag.

5 stars for utility disc. Recently purchased, only thrown it a dozen times. The one thing I can say for sure is the flight numbers are true to disc. This is one of those discs you get if you need a get out of jail disc/utility or massive head wind. The disc feels great in the hand, rim isn't to deep and not sharp which is what i really like about it. If anyone is looking for a fun disc to try and experiment this is the disc I would recommend. In my opinion it is a faster Scepter (infinite), Fireball (MVP)

    Review is for Atomic plastic.

The Atomic plastic is one of my favorite plastics in the game. Premium stuff with good grip. This disc is a little more overstable than the flight numbers would suggest, which means this thing is pretty darn overstable. There is a little bit of a ridge on the top of the disc above the rim, which feels pretty nice for the forehand grip. So if you're looking for a meathook driver, this is a great option (oh yeah, this thing skips really well too).

The stamp is legit. The disc itself is really hard for me to throw, overall it just wasn't comfortable and just dumps out early with barely any glide. Im sure it will fit into someones game, just not the disc for me.

    **New Retooled Kiwi**

Atomic plastic - The new Retooled Kiwi is an absolute beast! and immediately replaced the Sexybird I was bagging. Just like all RPM discs it comes with an amazing stamp and the best feeling plastic. I don't have the biggest arm, so for me this has become a perfect disc I am able to force over on a big anhy line and have flex back at around 70-80metres to finish with a reliable big fade at the end. Cuts through head winds with no issues at all. Obviously also good for those usual spike hyzer/forehand shots you would throw your firebird, scepter etc for, but with a tiny bit more speed.

Strata plastic - I have also picked one up in the new Strata baseline plastic (which to me feels much closer to a Pro/R-Pro (great value and bonus!!). Being in a baseline plastic it flies les stable than its beefy counterpart and i would say much closer to my Champ Thunderbird (which is now taking a rest).

    Give it a go :)!

Important to mention that RPM have "retooled" the Kiwi with a new mold.  The new mold flies nothing like the previous flippy run (which I also have).  The new mold is INCREDIBLY stable.  I can see this being very useful for flex shots or for power throwers who don't want a disc turning over.

    Not beginner friendly
I'm not a power thrower at all so this disc is too much for me to handle at the moment, except for some flex shots.  I'm hoping that they beat in and mellow out a little bit.

    Aesthetics
I have the atomic plastic which is beautiful and feels awesome in the hand.

To me the numbers are off, this thing is super understable.. don't get me wrong I've been looking for a flip roller disc for a while now, that'll do the same thing every time, and that is this disc to a T.  I prefer the atomic plastic myself it's a little more grippy, the cosmic plastic seems stiffer and for some reason the lip seems to be a little sharper than I like. With this dis  I  my bag I can hit any forehand line I want, with out struggling to forehand .

    Flight

These second runs are a far cry from the claimed stability rating. When thrown with power, this disc turns with a vengeance. Long hyzer flips and controlled flex shots are possible once you nail your release angle, however this is a distance roller disc if I've ever seen one.

    Handling

RPM's Atomic plastic is unrivaled in feel and aesthetics. Atomic plastic is a slightly softer and more flexible version of Star plastic, but not nearly as bendy as G-Star. It's very durable, so roller lines shouldn't take much life out of the disc.

    Aesthetics

The look of RPM plastic is stunning. Most Atomic molds usually incorporate a subtle swirl of two colors, and mine has a silvery, almost metallic sheen quality on the surface. It's absolutely gorgeous and more companies should take note of the stock stamp art as well. I wish they had a few more colors for this second run though.

The Kiwi is an awesome new mold! However, it is a little flippier, in my opinion, than suggests. I'd say it's a -2 turn and a 1 fade. I threw it flat and it flipped over and didn't really come back. I threw it on a hyzer and it flipped up, went straight, and didn't have much fade on the end of it. Once I figured out how to throw it though, I was getting big distance with the flippiness.

It's a speed 10, so the rim isn't too big, which is nice. The plastic feels awesome, as all RPM plastic does. Plus it looks sweet too, so that's a bonus. This would be a great disc for those who need to step up their game to a higher speed, but aren't quite ready for beefy discs.

I love the feel of this disc in hand, however it is significantly more understable than the flight numbers suggest.   I have to hyzer flip this disc to get it to go straight.  Nice if you want a understable control/distance driver.
