The Lift is a straight-to-understable driver. Streamline classifies this as a distance driver, we'd say it's more of a fairway driver based on the rim width. Regradless of what you call it, the Lift is the perfect disc for newer players, or advanced players who want to navigate through the woods or throw hyzerflips for great distance!

Love this disc! My first Lift and introduction to Streamline was finding an Eclipse lift in a bush at my home course. The Eclipse version was more overstable than advertised but after I lost my first, got a lab second Neutron that I've had ever since. Its your workhorse 9 speed that I think every intermediate disc golfer needs and will fall in love with. Great forehand and backhand. This my be my favorite disc. Period.

You know it's one of those things where this disc will just barely make your bag, and never see use outside of that. What I mean by that is, there are better options on almost every shot and you probably already have a disc that does a better job. Even on a straight open shot I wouldn't choose it for lack of consistency. It'll either turn and burn or S out and complete the curve. 50/50 shot of each. That being said though, I would be ok with it if it was the only fairway in my bag. (and yes it's a fairway I don't care what Streamline wants to call it) Overall, just doesn't match me.

The Lift was my workhorse driver for nearly a year. I only recently pulled it from the bag to work on slower speed discs. It is a good choice for those working their way up in speeds. It started out relatively stable for me and still holds it, but it has beaten in, albeit super slowly, to be very straight. Its comfortable on backhand and forehand. Mine is in Neutron plastic and 174g. It will hold the angle you put it on, but if its anhyzer, it will fight out there at the end back to flat. Only way you're turning and burning this disc is if you put it on some serious anhyzer. Super solid option from Streamline.

Love this disc!  With a full run-up, this disc will give me a slight hyzer flip, and from a standstill will fly straight with just a touch of fade at the end.  Super easy to control, very reliable, and very consistent.

I have this discussion in cosmic nuetron plastic, and I will say, if you put this disc on a slight hyzer flip, it will flip up, and fly straight as an arrow, and fade out with a reliable line. It's very true to its ratings, aside from I would maybe give it a -1 for turn. It's a very great disc if you are starting out, and want to increase distance!

I bag the lift for aggressive anhyzer back hand turnovers where i don't want it to fight out until the very last second. These are slightly more stable than the flight number suggest, at least in my opinion. It has a slightly stronger fade than Id like it to and thats why its only 3 stars. I was really hoping this would be a faster leopard but its more like a slower shryke or mentor. For now its in the bag but it could still come out if i find something more usefull.

On a Positive side though the feel of the neutron sl plastic and this particular mold is fantastic. Not too slick but not to grippy.

Great disc for shaping shots out and getting that beautiful full flight out of the Lift. Neutron plastic feels so great in the hand also it makes for one great disc. Does well with high power sidearms as well as backhand throws.

The Lift is an excellent disc in the longer fairway driver/manageable distance driver category.  The Neutron plastic is fantastic - grippy and durable.

Initially, it does some to be more overstable than the numbers suggest, as others have said and as you would expect in a fresh disc.  As of now, the Lift is holding up in mild headwinds without moving too far in the turn phase of flight.  And the fade is reliable.  To me, that inspires confidence that the disc will remain controlled, even in a headwind or even if I get over on the disc too much.  (My guess is power throwers would probably see this disc fly according to the numbers from the beginning of its life cycle.)

In feel and numbers, this disc is very much like the Insanity.  My Lift has slightly more dome than the two Insanitys that I have, but the in-hand feel is very similar.  However, the Lift does not seem to be as sensitive to nose angle as the Insanity.  The Insanity has potential for long flights, but also can be finicky.  I would say the Lift is more reliable and consistent.  If you don't like overmolds, and want something like the numbers/flight of the Insanity, this is the disc to try.

    Highly recommend.

When it comes to discs of this type (Control driver/driver) my go-to was the MVP Amp. As it worked out I lost my Amp a few days before receiving my Neutron Lift, and itnot only went straight to my bag, but instantly became my new workhorse.

The Lift has an amazing feel to it: The Neutron plastic is both comfortable and grippy, and the lack of Gyro technology offers a familiar feel to discs from outside brands. The Lift is able to stick on just about any line it's thrown on, personally I throw a lot of hyzer flips, which the Lift does with ease. I am LHBH and typically throw between 400-450ft, thrown flat I can get the Lift to that 400ft range and between 380-410ft on hyzerflips depending on the degree of hyzer. Flight wise I would suggest the Lift is between the MVP Amp and MVP Volt: It demonstrates enough high speed turn to flex, and just enough fade to, not only come back, but remain predictable.

Wooded holes, tunnels, and open holes, the Lift can do it all.

*Update again: My most used lift now for sure flies by the numbers.  Still not flip-tastic, just as the #'s say they should fly. So its good to know, they seem to start on the more stable side and wear into the 9/5/-2/1.5 shortly after but the plastic is durable and doesn't show wear really at all.  I am carrying 2 Lifts one thats 9/5/-2/1.5 and one that was more stable at 9/5/-1/2 (which i know will wear in eventually)  So far really loving this disc, also incredibly comfortable in the hand.

**Update: I liked these discs so much I snagged another one.  All of my lifts are 172-175g - They seem to vary slightly in the dome and PLH but nothing drastic.  They do fly CLOSE to the numbers, I would say after using 3 different LIFTS the average flight # I would give is 9/5/-1.5/2 -> I gave it some testing over a few different days and wind conditions.  It flies a lot like a new ECHOSTAR Valkyrie or a Fresh Star Roadunner.  I was looking for a control driver that can hit straight shots but doesn't need too much hyzerflip finesse.  I tried a few different discs.  The best I found to fit this role was the LIFT and the Millenium Orion LS (in Quantum plastic)  Both were nice straight stable tunnel shot drivers.  If you are on the fence on the LIFT because you think its too US and probably a beginner disc....its not.   If you get max weight this WILL handle power.  Loving it in the woods and hitting tunnel gaps. ****

I picked up 2 of these: 1 Cosmic Neutron 175g slight dome semi-firm plastic.  It flew more stable than expected, which is fine by me - I'd rate it 9/5/-1/2 even with a full throw it only turned slightly reminded me of a fresh star valkyrie but with a smoother rim and more comfortable feel

1 stock Neutron 175g flat top pliable plastic - this flew more to the numbers.  It definitely showed more turn than my cosmic neutron.  It flew true to 9/5/-2/1.5 .  When on a flat power throw it would show more turn, when played with a hyzer angle you can get that flip up to flat and straight phase.  Reminded me of a star roadrunner (thats fresh)

Overall its a really nice disc.  Feels super comfortable, it can show some turn but not super flippy.  All player levels could find a use for this.  To me its the Streamline equivalent to a Star Valkyrie or Roadrunner.  Lighter weights will likely flip more heavier/domier/firmer are pretty stable.

Looking at the numbers on the Lift, I expected a more neutral driver than what I experienced while throwing it for a round. It always faded for me, finishing to the overstable side every time. I expected it to finish straight ahead, but anywhere around 300 feet had that fade that took it to the left for my right-hand-back-hand throws.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing once I understood how the Lift would fly for me. I tried throwing it with more power to see if it could handle the torque and it did rather nicely, never flipping over. I'm not the most powerful thrower, but I could crank it to the 300 - 350 foot range without having understable "flip over" problems-- in fact very little turn at all. With that in mind, I treat it like a higher speed distance driver and put some oomph on the throw and got some great results.

I really like the feel of the Neutron plastic. It has the perfect combination of grip and durability. I'm giving my own flight rating of 9 / 5 / -1 / 2 though for players with shorter range, expect even more fade than that. It would be a suitable disc for newer players who are learning to throw harder and faster, so they can work up to other distance drivers.
