The Streamline Pilot is the first single-mold putter manufactured by MVP Disc Sports. This is a medium-depth, small-bead putt & approach disc with a comfortable, round nose. This putter is a slow flyer but flies very straight and glides well. The flight of the Pilot is described to be similar to that of a beat in MVP Anode.

This disc is just solid! Didn't blow me away but a real solid putter for people who like floatier putters and a real neutral thrower. Just super solid! No complaints :)

The Streamline pilot has been by go to putter for the past 3 years. The combination of its neutral flight profile and high glide makes for an effortless point and shoot putter. If you are a push putter or don't like putting with a lot of force like I do, the pilot will serve you well.

Electron pilots beat in rather quickly and will transition from a straight to fade flight to a understable flip to straight flight.

Protons are my personal favorite for drives as they have all been straighter flying than their neutron counter parts. These can seriously encroach on your mid range territory despite being a 2 speed disc, that high glide is seriously no joke.

The high glide on this disc is ever present on all plastics, but less so on the neutrons which are the most stable of the premium plastics in my experience and fly most like a slightly glidier envy. This is my preferred plastics for approach shots.

I picked up one of these from my local shop to see how it would fair. I am beginning to move more towards straddle putting and right now my power seems to be pretty low. Being a glide 5 and hearing glowing reviews on, I had to get one myself.

MAN! This thing has increased my range on my straddle putts by at least 15-20 feet. Where before i was almost afraid to attempt a straddle putt, I am now making it to the chains with ease.

The Pilot is a great disc for both putting and throwing. It has a low profile and micro bead, which I think feel great in the hand for throwing, but think it is a little too shallow for me for putting. The pilot is a great disc to throw off the tee on a slight hyzer; it will flip up slightly to flat, and push forward while fading. I think it flies like a shorter version of a beat in DX Roc.

The pilot comes in a variety of baseline and premium plastics. I think all of the baseline plastics feel great, but aren't the most durable and are prone to warping after hard tree hits (especially the electron soft plastic). The premium plastics also feel great and are durable, but I think are decently more stable than baseline. It may take a few more tree hits for my premium pilots to fly like the baseline ones do out of the box, but right now they don't seem to have that flip up.

I quite enojyed this disc while it was new but it beat in way to fast and warped badly. So now it just turns over and never comes back. The base plastic is terrible otherwise a nice disc.

I used to putt with the Axiom Envy for a long time and was trying some new putters (warden, wizard, roach, challenger) and ended up with the Pilot. Really nice feeling grippy plastic in the hand with a very comfortable more shallow flattop disc. Something about it just works for my putt, I don't know. But I'd recommend giving it a try

Great putter of your looking for a stable reliable putter this ones for you! Gets beat it pretty quick in the soft but all in all a good putter. It helped my short game greatly. If you haven't thrown it do it you may love it.

The Pilot is a straight flying putter from Streamline Discs, an offshoot of MVP that has gone back to the single-mold technology used by most other disc manufacturers. In a lot of ways, this disc seems to be imitating the classic Latitude 64 Pure, and even holding them up side by side you can see that the profile of the two discs is very similar except that the Pilot has a blunter nose and a slightly different shape inside the rim. The blunt nose clearly reduces the distance potential of the Pilot, and somehow the different shape of the Pilot also produces more understable flights than the Pure. Lower speed and less stability aren't necessarily bad characteristics for a putter to have, but they do give it a different role than the Pure despite the outward similarities.

The understability and lower speed of the Pilot make it less enticing to throw off the tee compared to the Pure, but the Pilot seems to be more specialized towards putting and approaching anyway. The lower speed makes it a lot less likely to blow past the basket, and it takes less power to make this disc hold a straight line. Shaping shots with this disc is easy, because even a slight anhyzer release will translate into a slow, graceful turnover line. Where the Pure is a disc that you could easily throw it off the tee on a 300' hole, the Pilot feels more appropriate to use within ~250'. You really just want to smooth this disc out there with clean form and let it glide to the target.

Overall, the Pilot is a fun disc to throw, and I strongly recommend it to beginners who want an easy disc to throw and get good results with. If you throw less than 225' off the tee, then you really don't need any other disc aside from the Pilot to play disc golf. A beginner will get nearly the same distance and far more control out of a Pilot than they will ever get out of a driver, and learning to throw a putter will teach them proper form. Definitely get this disc for the new disc golfers in your life.

For more advanced players though, the Pilot is probably going to be reserved for easy upshots unless you find that it really fits your putting style. I'm still using MVP Ions for putting myself, because I like to have a little more stability. But I do keep the Pilot in my stack of putters for practicing, and I can see how some people would like its flight characteristics for putting. If you loft your putt up a little bit and just make sure to get it in line with the basket, it will fly very straight even at low power, so someone with that style could definitely hit a lot of good putts with it. I like the Pilot a lot, but it just doesn't really fill any particular niche in my bag at the moment, so I give it 4/5 stars.

This is the only putter I use. Soft plastic at 170 for putts and medium plastic at 175 for drives.

I typically put with MVP Ions and this is similar, it's closer to my MVP atom than the Ion though. Just a little bit straighter flight. Electron plastic is the best putter plastic out there. I don't think this disc has anymore glide than the other MVP putters I have which are rated lower. I have not thrown the Pilot just putted with it so I can't speak to its full throw capabilities.

Putting - It's a good putter to put with and it flies very straight when you putt but my only problem with it was that it rolls way too much. You can hit the cage and then have a 20-25 foot putt (flat ground) because it rolled away. This was the only reason why I switched putters.

Throwing - I never threw it forehand but backhand it's a little flippy and don't even think about throwing it into headwind or left to right wind (RHBH).

This putter flies exactly how the numbers say during putts. I've not made any drives with it, but I never planned on it because this is exactly the putter I've dreamed of for dropping birdies or better in the basket.

With that -1 turn and the glide it holds a straight line Very well. If you have a problem with your putters hyzering or fading too much and skipping out of the chains then I suggust this putter.

The Medium is firm and grippy, similar to a slightly softer McPro Aviar, but with a chalky grip. This plastic will grab chains for you. I've found that expensive plastics that are high on grip rating tend to suffer from chain skips, but this the perfect grip for my hands and works well on chains.

If you want a laser putter, this is it. The only thing I would say bad about it is I wouldn't want to throw this putter into a good headwind, get something beefy just for that keep this for tail and crosswinds or no wind at all.

I've only had 3 days of putting practice with my 2 Electron Pilot's but I've come to really like them already.

If Dynamic Discs made a disc to fit between the Judge and Warden this would be it in my opinion. So far the Pilot's flight is right between the Warden and Judge with maybe a little less glide, MAYBE. The feel is very similar as well, the Judge has a more pronounced bead, Pilot has a micro bead and Warden has no bead, all are fairly flat and shallow.

At the moment the only thing I can complain about is how much dirt sticks to the Electron plastic.  Having used MVP a lot lately I knew this so it isn't a big deal to me just need to carry a towel.

I've been going through a crazy putter phase the last 6 months or so and have tried about everything from the major brands, I always come back to the Judge, Warden, Ion or Anode.  The MVP's spit out for me a lot and drive me nuts but feel very comfortable in hand, The DD discs I am not as consistent with as I would like to be. I definitely need to practice more but just 2 things I've noticed.  With the Pilot so far I haven't had issues with spit outs and it is a lot more consistent.

Again have only had 3 days with them so this all may change but overall, so far, the Pilot is a great putting putter.

I haven't used this enough to give it a full review.  So I will keep it short.

The Pilot is a straight/stable putter with a moderately thin design, mildly wide diameter and decent glide.  The Electron plastic feels great and grips well.

It has a slight turn when thrown but has enough fade to straighten it out.  I rate it 3/3.5/-0.5/0.75 Where it is slightly more of a hyzer finish.  It will likely beat into a smooth understable disc because of the baseline plastic.

Putts really well, feels good in the hand.  Overall I really liked it.  In prodigy terms I'd say its a Pa 3.5    (in between the 3 and 4)

    More to Come::::

update:  I don't really bag this anymore.  Not that it's a bad disc, its a fine disc.  For putting duties its just not the strong consistent stable line that I'm looking for.  I like them for approach discs and small turnover shots.  Its very similar to a worn in Electron Atom, but i feel the atom is still better.   Pilot is sweet and could be amazing once they run them in neutron plastic for a thrower.

Streamline's entry into the disc golf market started out with two smash hits! The Electron Pilots are great straight flying, torque resistant, stable putters. Truly a "holds any line you put it on" putter. For throwing, they have incredible glide and stability, flying very straight without turning over and finishing with a very mild fade. They will hold an anhyzer to the ground and also stand up to a hyzer without flipping up much. For putting, they are incredibly straight shooters which can give spin putters extra confidence from outside the circle with it's glide giving easy extra distance. With the perfect neutrality of it's flight, it will perfectly show you your mistakes. If this disc doesn't hit chains, you know it wasn't an issue of fading out too early or turning from higher speeds.

The Neutron Trace is simply a thing of beauty. The Neutron plastic without overmold feels like seasoned Star plastic right out of the box and the Trace flies like a seasoned Wraith. Thrown flat, the Trace shows a mild turn with a gentle finish, and superb glide. It seems as if the disc simply doesn't want to come out of the air. As a 400' max distance thrower, the Trace was giving me 380' with less effort than most of my drivers. My longest throw was GPS measured in at 410' on a flex line and still didn't even feel like I had to power it up as much as my DDx, D3s, or Destroyers. The Trace will take a gentle hyzerflip with ease or hold a big sweeping hyzer for it's full flight. Given some anhyzer, the Trace will carry for about 75% of it's flight before fading back to flat and finishing with a smooth, forward projecting fade.

Lastly, the three foil stamps are to die for! When I opened my package from Justin I was blown away. Reflective gold, holographic silver, and solid black that really makes the disc pop. Beautiful discs to match beautiful flights.

Truly the first two Streamline Discs to launch were smashed out of the park. If you're a Gyrohead and want to support Maple Valley Plastics, give some Streamline Discs a throw. If you're just an enthusiastic disc golfer who loves trying new molds but could never connect with overmold discs, these are very much a treat from a great company.

The Highly anticipated Streamline Discs release is nearly here! And I finally got a chance to test out the Streamline Pilot today. I threw around both Electron Soft and Electron Medium Pilots, and I found them to be pretty comparable in flight, with the Medium obviously being more stiff than the Soft blend. But the Pilot was a fun disc to throw. The shape and feel was nothing to crazy or out of the ordinary. It is a somewhat shallow putter with a smaller bead. The feel of it kind of reminded me of a Judge just with a smaller bead, and maybe more shallow, I'd have to go find a Judge to compare it to. But this is a great, neutral flight path putter that any disc golfer can build their putting game around. For putting, I thought it performed as should be expected--not quite as glidey as my deeper Wizards, but straight and predictable. I also think the Electron plastic is a great putting putter plastic blend. It has a good grip for confident putting.

Off the tee the Pilot flew great. Again, because of the more shallow rim it didn't glide as much as other putters I've thrown, but it is still a putter that flew straight with some glide and a predictable soft fade at the end. I'd recommend this putter to anyone who is just looking for a good, user friendly, straight flying putter. I have nothing negative to say about this disc.
