I got this originally in neutron plastic from the MVP Holiday Mystery Pack and fell in love with the flight. Any putt inside 50ft and this disc flies straight with a consistent glide even if you push putt. I ended up buying another in electron soft as my neutron disc saw a bunch of spit-outs, and the electron soft is even better! The flight is slightly less stable making for a smooth putt every time. I now use the neutron pilot in wind and the electron soft in all other conditions.

I use a less glidey putter than the pilot outside of 50ft as I have found the glide to be less consistent when trying to putt extra power and spin, but that doesn't take away from my rating thanks to the precision close range putts.

This review is for the Electron Soft plastic as a putting putter.  The Electron Soft Pilot has a tremendous hand feeling.   The soft isn't super gummy and actually somewhat stiff, yet very tacky to the touch.  The Pilot is very slim, and makes for clean releases when sping putting . The microbead strikes a nice balance that both beaded and beadless fans can appreciate.  It's enough of a bump to give you a tactile confidence gainst your finger, but small enough to where it still gives clean releases.

The glide is immediately apparent for even putts inside 30 feet. I played around with Wardens, Judges, and Rekos for the majority of my disc golf career, and with the Pilot I was immediately hitting 2/3 up the basket dead on the pole every time, compared to finishing softer lower down the chains and even sometimes on the left.

The electron soft pilot gives me the great hand feeling of the Reko, but with the extra glide to make putting easier.

With the Stability of a Judge, and the glide of an airplane, this putter instantly stole my heart. I putted with Judges for 5 years and never looked back. The microbead is so much more comfortable in the hand than the judge.

While the Baseline Electron plastic are the absolute best for putting, the premium plastic Pilots are incredible as throwing putters.

First off, I play at 4800 ft above sea level. This is my go-to putter for 30+ft or tight putts. It's combination of great glide (I've never seen another putter with this much glide) and understability mean that I can release on a bit of a hyzer and it will flip to straight when I need it. Good for anhyzer putts too. Also, I love that it's soft, but not too soft.

The Pilot in electron soft is the perfect starter disc. It'll beat in to be quite understable for a power arm, but a beginner will see lots of glide on very straight drives.

Just let me start by saying at my local course I usually throw -4 or -5. After getting the Pilot (and some practice) I have started shooting -7 and even got a personal best of -10.

Putting within 20 ft really seems to mostly come down to the feel of comfort with the disc in the hand and The shallow rim and flat top feel really good in my hand.

Even putting outside the circle to trying to hit 65+ jump puts the Pilot works great! Has nice glide but doesn’t seem to get swept away in a strong breeze like the mvp Ion I use to use would!

I am very new to the game myself, was introduced to it by a friend. He took me to our local Disc Golf store Discndat and the worker there asked me several questions about my experience thus far and what I am looking for in a disc. After hearing what I had in mind he recommended this disc to me immediately. Given the fact this guy clearly knew his stuff I picked up the 169g electron soft. After we left the shop my buddy took me over to his local course at Lincoln Ridge Park to try it out.

This disc will fly straight as an arrow for most of its flight and then fade slighty left (RHBH). I tried a variety of different shots with it ranging from RHBH to Overhands and this performed well on all of them. A great include for any beginner like myself.

A disc that was suggested as part of my "starter pack" when I began playing disc golf, and the electron soft has such a nice feel that I constantly go back to this disc in the heavily wooded courses near me. Great for shot shaping and a solid putter.

I play in Oklahoma and it is ALWAYS windy. I've grown used to putting a certain way in this wind. The Pilot amazed me. It seems to not even notice a breeze; going where I aimed it whether headwind or tailwind. This threw me off, of course, but once I learned to trust the disc, I found my putter for the foreseeable future.

I won't get into the feel of the disc or anything as I find that so subjective. I will say it feels comfortable in the hand. The bead is very small so that might take one a bit to get used to.

Great putter and I plan on buying several more.

    Consistent

Every 3-6 months I've been changing what putter I use, one is not glidy enough, one fades too much, doesn't have the right touch. The pilot has been a disc that I can trust and feel comfortable with consistently. Doesn't matter if it's lightweight or heavy this guy glides for days, and is awesome for both touch upshots, and putts.

The disc holds its line well, anhyzer lines are great, hyzers work well, but it always finishes gently.

Nice shallow putter with a bead for extra confidence. If you have a spin/push hybrid putt, this putter will work wonders for your game. The slight under stability and glide will keep the pilot in the air and locked on target. Slower or nose up putts will bring out the 1 turn. Straight putts, slight hyzer putts and strong hyzer/ anhyzer get around obstacle putts. No target is safe from the ace Pilot

I've tried loads of putters and this is my go to. The Electron Soft plastic has a great feel. It's sort of chalky. The pilot has a small micro bead and a flat top. It just feels great in my hands. It's a very straight flyer as a driving putter. Even after beating mine in using it as a primary putter it hasn't really changed stability at all. It's very controllable as both a putter and driver. Fantastic feeling disc.

I wanted to update my review focusing on this as a driving putter. This putter is awesome to drive. It flies so straight. Has a little bit of HST (-1) and a little bit of fade (+1), just as the numbers indicate. It's easy to control. I no longer dial down on my mod range, I just pull out the pilot and rip it flat or with a tiny bit of hyzer. It's got a comfortable grip. It does beat up a bit but I have not seen that change its flight.

This is a great putter and driver. It has a flat top, blunt nose, and small comfortable bead. The soft plastic is not BT Soft or R-pro soft by any means. More of a medium flex but it feels really great with a lot of grip. It putts straight with good glide. For Upshots it flies very straight with a ton of glide. I recommend this putter to anyone looking for a straighter flat top putter. It has a bead but it's comfortable. Not like a wizard or judge.

This is my absolute favorite putter! Just drop all of your putter and come try this! The Pilot is amazing! The glide is great for both push and spin puts a like. Headwind, Downwind, Crosswind, breaking wind who cares this disc will handle it all! I currently use this putter for all of my inside the circle puts and puts up to 80ft. I do not how ever use it for driving, I think it is not quite stable enough for that. But for all your putting needs and get-out-of-jail throws this is it! I hope that a soft neutron/ soft proton version will be released soon so that it will be even easier to take advantage of all that glide.

I absolutely love this disc! I'm relatively new to the game (been playing 1-2 times/week for about 4 months now) and have always seemed to struggle when it comes to putting. The 5 glide is great, I was previously having issues with my disc falling short or hitting the front of the basket, not anymore! I have both the soft and medium plastic blends, and I prefer the soft. The medium is a bit stiff and seems to bounce around the basket more. This disc flies just the like numbers, very neutral and straight. The microbead is hardly even noticable and I imagine it will wear down the more I play with this disc.

Overall a great disc, it has given me the confidence needed when putting. Highly recommended!

I'm very impressed with this initial offering by Streamline!!

The pilot, to me, fits between a warden and a judge in terms of hand feel. It's a thin rimmed, blunt nose and microbeaded putter that flies pretty neutral. The soft plastic, as mentioned by others, is grippy and has a little give to it but isn't floppy. It's a touch softer than classic blend. I have a medium coming in the mail this week so I will update this with a comparison.

I've putted with Wardens since late 2015, and the Pilot is making a push on them which is pretty high praise from me!!

Also in terms of looks, Streamline three color stamps are incredible. I dig it.

I really liked the pilot, it has a fairly slim profile that fits well in my hand. This disc is pretty glidey as well, which is big for me in putting. It always stretches it's fall forward into the chains! (Okay well not always). It does have a tiny bit of fade at the end, so you don't have to worry about putting too far past the basket.

I prefer the Electron Soft plastic, because it's not actually THAT soft. To me it was about the same softness as a Classic Blend / Zero Medium disc. I like a little bit of give when I grab the disc. The Electron Medium plastic was pretty stiff.

All in all, this is a good solid putter for great glide and a slim profile. I didn't pull off very many good drives with it personally. It is pretty flippy when thrown hard, so you'll want to drive with control. Overall a great putter and I'm really excited to see what else Streamline brings to the table.

I really like the feel of the Pilot in Electron Soft plastic. It isn't necessarily so soft that it is floppy or ultra flexible. But it has nice grip. Being a player that prefers beaded putters, the Pilot felt a little different in my hand because the bead is definitely micro (almost beadless). As I started putting with it, I found that it flew with precision-- probably a touch more overstable than I'm used to on longer putts, where it faded early on me, but great for my closer putts. However, that is more a commentary on my own putting style (I like understable putters for longer shots, for a slight S-curve approach).

The Pilot also worked nicely for upshots and approaches, gliding to the target with nice precision. It can handle a little more power when necessary.

I think the Pilot is a great, all purpose putter for one of Streamline's first releases.
