The Maiden is a straight-flying, low-profile putter that was released for the 2018 Trilogy Challenge. It quickly became a putt-and-approach favorite as players discovered how comfortable it is in the hand and how straight it flies on approaches to the basket.

Reviewing in vip plastic- very low profile putter. Mine is board flat, and the rim is quite shallow for a putter too. The maiden almost qualifies as a mid range. It flies very straight, has plenty of glide, and can easily match the furthest flying putters for distance. Very comfortable for forehand throws also. Overall it is a bit too fast as a throwing putter for me but it certainly has its strengths

This is my favorite of the growing shallow beaded putter category. It feels good, there are plenty of plastic options, and it can do just about anything. It's a great putting putter and also really useful for throwing. The Tournament X run offered some extra stability and VIP feels great in this mold. Soft base plastics limit ground play and stick to chains, if that's a priority.

The bead isn't huge but is enough to rest your finger on, if you putt that way. The flat examples feel very shallow but there are some with dome that dont feel quite as thin. While not being super overstable, they can handle some torque and don't mind being thrown hard. They'll also hold an anny angle on approaches that need to finish a little right, but are never eager to burn over. I'm sure you could beat a base plastic one in to where it turns hard, though.

There are a lot of great beaded putters on the market but the Maiden continues to be one of the best options out there. More people should give it a shot.

Best throwing putter on the market. I've tried so many (Proxy, Envy, Berg, Pilot, Roach, Luna, etc), but the Maiden, especially in VIP plastic, handles a lot of speed and goes on a frozen rope. I've pushed it out to 330' accurately, but I generally use it for all my straight drives under 300'

It has a permanent spot in my bag, but I also use it for my local putter only course.

I generally don't get any fade if I throw it flat, so this might not be as neutral for a true beginner. I've aced with it once and hit metal countless times since getting it.

The vip maiden is very straight with a slight fade brand new. I have thrown it consistently for about a year and it is now my flip up and drift right putter.

It is decent as a putter if you like shallow beaded putters. The base plastic versions were a little too shallow feeling for me to use as a putter but the vip version feels slightly deeper due to the small dome it has in this plastic.

Flat profile, straight flight. What´s not to like?

I also like the Infinite Skullboy on this disc - very cool!

The VIP plastic is also nice and grippy.

The maiden is the best putter I've put hands on, full stop.

I found the maiden when looking for a lower profile putter that felt solid in my hand and released cleanly. I found that my pures would hang up in my grip and have inconsistent result. That's when I decided to pick up a set of maidens to try out and I will never go back.

For putting, these things fly dead straight with a spin put with the slightest bit of reliable fade at the end. The height of them makes them easy on the grip and consistent with the release. I saw a difference with putting consistency almost immediately after the switch.

I then picked up a vip maiden to throw. I figured if it can change my putting game, it may also be a great approach and driving putter and I wasn't disappointed. The maiden when driven has a nice gentle flip to flat and then flies dead straight for 1 nautical mile before settling gently to the left (RHBH). I've even begun to trust the maiden on a forehand for dead straight flick approaches (such as when you're stuck in the rough and only have a lean out forehand available).

I would highly recommend this putter to people with smaller hands, people who spin put, and people who have the control for a putter flick approach. The only reason I rate it as somewhat beginner friendly is due to the fact that it will not come back when turned over too far. You have to be on with your angles to truly appreciate what this disc can achieve.

The Maiden is a versatile disc that works for me while putting anywhere from 100ft in. It holds lines just fine off the tee with a low profile and high glide. It can be used for both spin and push putting, but I spin it. It has a straight flight plane with a slight fade at the end for finesse shots. I don't care about the gripiness of a putter because I really jam it into my hand, but VIP plastic feels grippy enough for me and has been very durable. When I let my nephew use it who doesn't really know how to play he does fine with it so I think the disc is somewhat beginner friendly. I am very bad with this disc in high wind despite its low profile. I'm not sure if this is a me problem or a problem caused by a high glide disc. It is my favourite disc and I recommend it if you want a lower profile putter that flies a little faster and glides a little farther than a traditional putter.

The VIP Maiden is an amazing throwing putter.  This disc goes almost as far as my cryztal luna (which is damn near a mid range).  This disc handles torque well and travels super straight with the slightest finish.  I find myself throwing this off the tee when I would normally throw a midrange.  I've had this disc since its release and it has never left my bag and it won't ever leave my bag.

I switched to the Maiden when I got one for being a member of the Infinite VIP club. I was already feeling my Atom wasn't giving me the clean release I was looking for. So when I felt the Maiden in my hand, it being a shallow rimmed putter, I felt it was exactly what I was looking for. I have large hands, which seems counter intuitive, but it works great for me.
I carded 1 ace, in the almost 3 years I played with the Atom.
I've been putting and throwing the Maiden for about a year and a half now, in that time I've had 5 aces with this disc! My putting consistency has increased exponentially and my confidence is the best it's ever been when it comes to tee shots and inside and outside the circle putting.
The Maiden is a very STRAIGHT putter. It incredible torque resistant and very forgiving. Even bad shots end up going straight. The Maiden is the best putter ever in my humble opinion.
If you're struggling with your putting, or need a consistent putter off the tee BUY this disc!
I put with BT moonshine, after these came out and I realized I would be throwing this putter for probably the rest of my life I bought about two dozen in this particular plastic.
I'm incredibly happy I did, because they haven't produced a Maiden in this particular plastic blend since. I have found that the BT Hard are just as awesome.
My latest ace was a Maiden in the Hybrid plastic. Which is what I prefer off the tee. I also like the VIP moonshine as well if I want something with a little more fade at the end.
    Just an incredible disc.

This is one of the best (straight) throwing putter I've thrown. Now that I've had some time to work with it, it's truly impressive. This disc will glide for days and go straight for 90% of its flight before finishing very gently to the left. It's stable enough that you won't turn it over easily, but it will hold any line you give it. In my most recent field work, I got this consistently 10-15 feet farther than my other putters, which doesn't sound like a lot of distance, but is actually considerable for a putter (percentages, yo).

In the hand, I find it not quite as deep as similarly numbered putters like the Crown or Ion, which is great for me. It flies similar to those as well, but the shallower profiles helps me (small hands) get a better grip and cleaner release.

I haven't putted with it but it is a great thrower
