The Stag is an overstable fairway driver in the Westside line. This disc is excellent for controlled fairway drives for both backhand and forehand throws. The Stag isn’t the fastest disc (speed 8), but has a very comfortable, moderate rim of 1.9cm and gets the distance with impressive glide.

I decided on the T Burst and am happy with the grip playing in the PNW over winter. This disc feels like a very seasoned Bio Fusion Escape bordering on a Lucid Maverick with some extra glide.

The Stag isn’t very true to its numbers even with the -1 turn. It is definitely more under stable than advertised and I think it comes out pretty neutral. The real problem with this disc for me is that it wants to be overstable but is t, which makes it a finicky hyzer flip disc and will burn out on harder throws. It’s a good disc for someone looking to move up to a fairway driver for a flick, but that seems to be about it.

The stag is much less stable than the numbers suggest. I would put this disc in between and escape and a river as far as stablility. It is one the highest glide discs out there, so if that's what you want, this disc is great! Just ignore the numbers.
