The Westside Underworld is the ideal driver for beginners. This understable disc has a high degree of high-speed turn, followed by minimal low-speed fade. It has a moderate sized 1.9 cm rim, and a comfortable feel that will provide new disc golfers more control and distance than most other discs. For more experienced players, the Underworld is great for straight hyzer flip throws that will go the distance. The Underworld is available in both VIP and Tournament plastics.

This is the first driver I ever bought. I am still pretty new to DG and I used to be maxing out at around 200ft with discs I borrowed from friends before I owned any of my own. I bought the underworld in VIP air and Tournament plastic. After less than 10 rounds of throwing these I could get them past 300ft! The VIP air one flips a little more easily than the Tournament plastic, but I do not regret buying both of them because there is a time and place for each of them in my bag. The Underworld will probably fly the farthest out of anything for beginners because of its huge glide and under stable nature.

The VIP Air is VERY flippy. I have a decent amount of power (450+) and this disc doesn't handle torque very well. It will flip almost instantly if thrown too hard, even on an extreme hyzer. I think bigger arms should consider heavier plastic for a more consistent hyzer flip. Overall a really fun disc and can sail as advertised with plenty of hyzer and powered down.

This disc is amazing and has immediately jumped to the front as my favorite disc.  I am not a big thrower but I instantly got 20-40 more feet on my drives.  Almost embarrassed to say that I bought it for the stamp but wow, what a thrower!

Ok I have been waiting for this disc in the right plastic, weight and color.

I have 3 of them now.

    Plastic: VIP Air

    Weight: 159, 157, 156

Just got them a little beat in. Really like this disc. Mine are so far running pretty stable and they glide very well. I used it on a 300 ft needed the disc to go straight with a tiny bit of fade. Almost aced the hole.

Feels great in the hand, I am not a big thrower but this disc help outs. Great disc somewhat beginner friendly.
