I live at 6,000ft so take that into consideration. I also throw a consistent 400ft golf line if that helps. I have the Mayhem in both Neutron and Proton plastic and find both have similar stabilities. Like many MVP/Axiom distance drivers, I find them to be a bit more stable than the numbers suggest and the Mayhem is no different. I've been using the Proton a lot during field work and it's starting to break in more to be closer to the given flight numbers but fresh out the box, I'd say it's more like -1, 2.5 or 3 fade, at least at my altitude. Good disc though. Nothing unique about it compared to other discs out there but good nonetheless.

I tried this disc in the 170-175g range, it was used but still in great shape/almost new. I found that the disc was a great turn disc with a big distance potential but was inconsistent with how much turn it had for me. It has less turn than a neutron plastic and more consistent but throwing with hyzer it would ride flat one time and flip hard the next. I got a neutron Trace that has less turn but same distance with better control.

If you have an intermediate level of arm strength, you'll love the lines you can crush with a Mayhem. I find the Proton to be a touch more stable than the Plasma. I still need to try the Neutron version to compare. This is my go-to distance driver. I have one in my main bag, and a second in my glow bag. If they get beat in, they will start to turn pretty hard. If you really crush, you might find these to be a touch too flippy for you, but I really love mine!

Due to the speed of this disc, you should not start out with something this fast.  You need to be at the stage you can rip a disc with control and consistent form to keep from grip locking it or nose high.  Once you dial in your speed and accuracy, this thing is a monster for any shot I have tried.  On hole 16 at Alex Clark McKinney, Texas you can get it past the trees behind tee pad on 17 so you have a straight shot to the basket.

If you've got the arm for the speed this thing glides for days. This was one of the first high speed drivers I have purchased. The flight path depicted is dead on but what is really great and super consistent. This has been a staple in my bag! Axiom has not let me down yet.

    An Excellent Workhorse!

The mayhem is exactly as described "a responsive straight-to-stable flight path, with plenty of speed, making it an excellent workhorse.." I used this as my main distance driver for quite a while because it would had consistent accuracy and almost always added distance to my drives. I would go as far as to say this disc is my favorite disc from the MVP-Axiom-Streamline family.

I'm primarily a sidearm driving player, and the Mayhem delivers. It feels great in the hand and handles off access torque really well. I ended up shelving it for now because I don't really have the arm speed for a speed 13 disc all the time, but I expect to pick it up again in the future.

I am not an axiom guy by any means but I won the watermelen in my league play and I must say it's working wonders for long flick shots. It flies very smooth with a nice stable finish. I usually hyzer flip it forehand and it flies up and goes anhyzer for about half the flight and starts fading pretty decently towards the end. This disc is probably my furthest flying forehand disc in my bag. All in all I am very pleased with the mayhem

I didn't mean to buy this disc but I am glad that I bought it. It's got a great hand feel, a lot like their Octane but with a little more dome and a nice bluntish edge.

The flight is a good S curve in the flight that turns quite a bit and then fades nice and gently netting just about straight at 400ft of power.

Someone with less power could easily use it with less fade and it could be a good wind disc for beginners.

As a rule of thumb I never recommend high speed discs to new players. That said, I bought 2 of these for my roommate at 173g and 174g. These can be flicked flat or even a minor anny and will make long shallow S-curves. Get it on a hyzer and it will flip to flat and hold for a long time before the fade kicks in. Though it's a smooth transition. I've used them on my Backhand drives and personally I'd say the turn is more 1.5, even after the disc has been beat over 3 months. The glide is more of a 6 as well. Both my roommate and I have thrown these on slight downward releases from a hilltop tee and ground level tees... the disc wants to resist gravity very well until it slows and normally (unless the fairway has long grass) skips. When it skips the nose like to turn up hard and stall itself and cut to the side even more. 2 fade on the throw, 4 fade on the skip.
