The Discmania CD3 is a very special disc that was useful in the hands of many players, regardless of skill level because of its high glide, straight flight, and soft finish. This disc is now out of production, and we don't know if Discmania will ever make it again. The 2023 DD1 has the same flight numbers, so if they do release a CD3 again, it will likely fly different than the old one.

I wouldn't recommend this disc for beginners strictly because of the speed, the disc itself is fantastic! This is my go to distance forehand disc and has such a beautiful flight. I can get it to give me a slight turn with a consistent fade. It's very true to numbers. I wish Discmania was still making their discs with Innova, that's when they were goated

Honestly one of the best feeling discs I've ever felt. Feels like a wraith but slightly better. It flies like a wraith pretty much. Maybe slightly straighter. Overall great disc and great feeling.

Wouldn't recommend to beginners being as fast as it is. Also being as it's OOP it's harder to find in general.

This is a shapeable 11 speed driver with decent glide. It is easy to control in S-Line/Swirly S-Line plastic. The C-Line was noticeably more OS.

Rim width and depth is very comfortable in the hand and allowed me to get a good grip and rip on this disc both flat and on an anhyzer. On an anhyzwer line it would turn and end its flight with good enough fade. The dome is neutral, not too big but not flat.

The speed is right at 11 with a 5 glide. The disc is similar to a wraith in flight and feel IMO. I think there is enough overlap that the Wraith throwers would find the CD3 a decent replacement.

This is a very good disc.  I'm pretty new to Discmania stuff, but this disc is making me think I need some more.  I was a little hesitant to throw this because I don't typically throw this fast BH, but it is a money disc.

Thrown on a hyzer, it stays on that angle, but it has such good glide it still gets down the fairway.  Thrown straight, I get a little turn before a soft fade.  Thrown on a anhyzer, it holds the angle for a long time before finishing flat.

The rim size is perfect for me.  I typically throw in the 7-9 speed range, but this feels very comfortable.  The S-line plastic feels silky smooth and is great quality.

Overall this was a disc I didn't think I needed, but turned out to be a very reliable disc that I reach for more and more.
