The Discmania DD3 is the new disc for distance. Eagle McMahon crushes this disc down the fairway. The "Cloudbreaker" is the title name for the Swirly Star Signature edition. This is a reliable, max-distance driver for the more advanced arms that may still offer some extra distance to intermediate players as well.

This new C-Line plastic is absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about this disc. Great compliment to the S-Line. I would say the C starts out a little more stable, but as mine has seasoned, it has gotten much straighter. Little flip, but not a lot of fade. I'll have to pick up another one and try to compare them a little better.

I couldn't resist snagging one of these in red. The new plastic blend is absolutely gorgeous and feels so good. Not incredibly stiff and not really soft. Great amount of flex. The odd thing I'll say is as this beats in, it has only really lost low speed stability lol. It doesn't necessarily flip any more than new, but if it does, it never really wants to fight back. This is just mine in particular. I've picked up a second one and I'll see how it seasons compared to the other. Absolutely love these new DD3s. Crushers

The C-line disc is that next step for someone coming up thorugh the stability and speed ranks. If you throw 400ft+ then this disc is great for bombing on anhyzer, throwing big pushing hyzers, and flat bomb. It even holds well in a headwind!

The new  DD3s are great if you're looking for a glidey and slightly less stable Destroyer!

The DD3 is one of the many great, popular, overstable distance drivers. I have been bagging 4 of them since their release in May. I really wanted to love the DD3, as nothing feels just as good as their C-Line plastic.

There is some inconsistency in every run that I have thrown of the DD3s, but most commonly, the Blue and Purple have always been the most overstable, and the Orange Yellow and Red being the most understable colors of the DD3.

The C-line plastic is stiff when compared to star and some runs of champion, especially in the winter. The plastic in temperatures below 30f is comparable to glass in stiffness. That being said, even though it is stiff in the cold, it still remains tacky. The plastic is resilient to beating in, but there is nothing like a beat in, destroyer esc disc.

After all this time, I have found that the DD3 flies faster and with less glide than my destroyers. I can push a stock destroyer up to and around 450-490ft, and the DD3 I have only been able to reach 430. I'm not sure what is knocking this disc out of the air so quick, but it has grown to be extremely frustrating.

If you are contemplating trying the DD3, give it a go, but don't expect more glide than your destroyers if you bag them.

I say this is somewhat beginner friendly and that's because given the flight numbers, the c-line plastic drastically changes them.  This plastic is a lot stiffer than the previous dd3's.  I use this mainly for long full forehand shots that I'm throwing for max distance.  I'm able to throw it as hard as possible and only now, after a couple months of beating it in, is it getting some turn and then a nice strong fade.  It's so dependable in the wind.  Every throw gets it closer to perfecting for me
