The Discmania DD3 is the new disc for distance. Eagle McMahon crushes this disc down the fairway. The "Cloudbreaker" is the title name for the Swirly Star Signature edition. This is a reliable, max-distance driver for the more advanced arms that may still offer some extra distance to intermediate players as well.

    BOOOOOM!

The Clowdbreaker bombs! Feels great with a little dome, flexible flight plate, and stiff wing, this works great FH or BH. It can take a lot of snap and fight out of a turn and consistently fade.

175g Cloud Breaker x2. My go to distance drivers for max distance. I bag 2 under Defenders. I dont quite have 1 to be my most understable driver yet but working on it. With these you can only bag 2 distance driver. Compareable to the Kong/Zeus a tad bit more overstable. For slower arms might be all the stability you need. Very good disc.

Alright, the DD3 Cloudbreaker! This is my favorite distance driver ever made! I love the feel of swirly S line plastic, and I love a far flying disc! I find these to be great for my arm speed, I can throw them up to 500 but more towards 425 on average. Many people will say that these are just destroyers, BUT, in my opinion this are a consistent run comparable to some destroyers. For eagle and Simon, they're understable, for the Intermediate and advanced level, this is an absolute bomber! I have many of these and in different weights. I love throwing these forehand and backhand when I'm really trying to achieve the most distance as possible.

Review is of DD3 Cloudbreaker... This is my favorite disc overall and I use it on all my forehand shots 325+. I've only been playing for about 3 months and had success with this disc immediately. Once I added it to my bag I improved my average score on my home course by about 6 strokes being able to place longer forehand shots closer to my target area. I'm not a typical beginner because I have a good arm and played other sports in college. I wouldn't recommend this for any beginner unless they naturally have a good forehand right away. I would give this a 4.5 out of 5 if I could but I'm going with 5 rounding up.

The one thing I've noticed is that for a $20+ disc it beats in fast and a my first one actually has some noticeable chipping on the rim. Again, I throw fairly hard, and can get this disc out to 400+ on a good flick. My backhand form isn't as good yet, but I can depend on this to hit 350 maybe a little more with solid left finish. To be fair, the plastic has held up better than base plastics or medium level plastics that I started with where after one flick catching a tree and there was a half inch gash on the rim (I'll never buy base plastics for most discs ever again unless its putt/approach).

I think the numbers are accurate but after beating the disc in a little I can easily hyzer flip the forehand, which is great for longer woods shots. I can also throw this on a hard turnover forehand where I want to finish 250-300 feet up the fairway and hard left.  Great disc for a bunch of different shots and I now carry 3-4 in my bag... One new for open shots, one beat in, one lighter weight (167) for more over stability shorter throws and sometimes a really beat in one that is super flippy for backhands.

Compared to other discs (and I've gone through many starting out) I'd say this gets 25-35 more feet than any of the destroyers I've thrown (but I still carry one) for forehands. However, the one shot I don't throw this for is a forehand hyzer as even new ones I can flip up on a max power shot so for that I'm throwing a PD2.

In conclusion, if you have power, need a good more dependable forehand distance disc, and want something that will beat in and add variety to your bag, go with this disc (Cloudbreaker), you'll get use out of it for a while.

I started playing disc golf 6 months ago. I have had my DD3 for 3 of those months. Once broken in, this disc is super controllable. I feel that the DD3 is more responsive than my Destroyer. All in all, this is a solid driver that pretty much anyone can throw, if they understand angles vs stability.

I got a Cloudbreaker out of curiosity ... and it's one of the the first overstable full speed drivers that actually fits in my bag. It's especially good for forehand that needs to fade, but get good distance. I am an quite new player with about only a year of experience (&with +150 rounds) Also good for hard fading long backhand shots.

It's not as overstable as some other discs with same numbers; this one actually took the place of Westside Giant (Vipunen) in my bag. Giant should have more stability 0vs-1 and more fade 3,5vs3, but I would totally disagree with this. Giant could turn over with enough speed but Cloudbreaker doesnt really want to... can rely on it more with forehand especially.

I would still like to get more distance with a driver of this numbers, but maybe its just lack of practise that keeps me fading too hard and too early sometimes unintentionally.
