The EMac Truth is an overstable midrange disc designed to offer a more stable flight than the regular Truth midrange driver. This version of the disc is Eric McCabe's signature disc, and was designed to his specifications. This disc will hold any line you give it, and is often used as a very effective upshot driver. It offers both a predictable fade and a long flight with its high glide. This disc holds true every time you throw it.

I owned this mold when it very first came out. Super straight shooter. At least in the very begining, now it is more of a possible roc replacement. My first mold was very very straight. Almost understable. Since retrying the mold through a friend I can say that I do appreciate the fade at the end now, Shot shapping with this disc is very fun. Slight turn overs that come back, or anhyzers that hold the whole way through. Hit it hard and flat and it will turn very slightly and work its way back at the end with a relatively straght finish, Good work horse mid that can by cycled somewhat. Try it out.

This disc landed a spot in my bag and replaced my MF Roc3 after only 3 throws. This is really good for a slightly overstable midrange. it has reliable fade at the end and it goes far. I parked a 340ft hole with a flex backhand and I was shocked. I got an extra 30 feet with this compared to my roc3. It feels great in the hand. I am excited to see this beat in, and will be cycling in new emac truths as that happens.

I was surprised with how much speed and glide the Emac Truth has, it seems to go just a little farther than some of my other midranges, it almost flies like a 6 speed disc.  I find the disc very comfortable, it has a rounded rim and is fairly flat.  The Lucid plastic felt a little slick at first, but after a few rounds it started to feel a little grippier.  The disc has great glide and a good amount of fade, it feels reliable and fights the wind pretty well.  It's a good midrange for both forehand and backhand.  It's just a solid workhorse mid that seems to fly a little faster than some of the other mids out there.  I'm hoping I can beat one into more of a straight flier so that I can cycle a couple of them and cover all of my different midrange shots with a single mold.

A Prime Emac Truth was my first disc, and it was a shot shaping machine. My Lucid one, however, is quite domey and readily flips to understable for me. I use it mostly for shots where a fairway seems like barely overkill, and it does this well. This one just feels a bit less dependable than the first one and had more of a learning curve. Still a great midrange though and I would recommend it to just about anyone.

One of my favorite discs. You can skip this disc or park it, throw it high or low, and if thrown with enough speed, you can get a nice S-curve out of it to really put the distance on. For beginners, this is a disc that you will want if you have a big bend or obstacle a decent way ahead of you, but don't need to throw too far to reach. If needed, you can also use this disc on holes or shots where the basket is in a more open area, within 200 feet. All in all, this disc is amazing and perfect for learning backhand and forehand techniques on.

Summary: This disc has a spot in everyones bag.

Feel: The Lucid plastic has a slight dome over the Prime plastic, just a small note. The rim feels the fastest on a midrange that I've ever felt, not saying it's bladed like a driver but it has the potential of one. The height feels a bit short, making it easier to hold onto with smaller hands.

Flight: This may be the most verstatile and beginner friendly disc that I've tried. Thrown slow it shows more overstability for a different use case. Thrown maybe 45-60% it'll fly how it's numbers suggest. And thrown any harder than that it'll flip just a bit and ride straight before getting that hint of finish.

This disc feels great, especially for a newer player. It is comfortable for those throwing both backhand and forehand shots. I have found that this disc glides much further than I want it to sometimes. I prefer throwing this disc forehand, it is able to keep it's line fairly well. Great disc for newer players.

This disc is great! I think it is underrated for what it is. In all honesty I prefer a buzzz because I can throw it a little harder with more trust. For someone who isn't interested in that extra torque resistance, it is great! Anything less than a 80-90% shot with a midrange and I throw a putter instead (innova pig, axiom envy). This disc is awesome, it just isn't my favorite.

This is a FANTASTIC disc. I've owned three: Fuz-X, Fuz, and Lucid.

My Fuzion-X version was somewhat domey, and a little more unterstable than I would have wanted. As it got too flippy I transitioned to a Lucid version.

The lucid version is fantastic. It flies almost completely straight (maybe just  a touch of turn) when thrown at full speed.

Highly recommend to intermediate players looking for a mid that does not turn over, especially on flats and slight downhills

Gets overshadowed by a lot of other great midranges, but this one is my favorite workhorse mid.  The combination of the lucid plastic, and the shallow feel with a slight shoulder makes this my favorite feeling disc, almost like a blunt nose fairway driver with a microbead. I've got mine beat in a little so with a good snap it'll pretty much fly dead straight it's entire flight. A bit of hyzer and it'll push forward on that line the entire flight, a bit of anhyzer and it'll hold it almost the entire flight before fading to land flat.

This disc is awesome! It flies very straight and is the first mid that I have really been able to throw well with. It definitely seems a bit less stable than the ratings say but I do not mind. Awesome straight mid for any level of player. Also the Lucid plastic is super durable and not overly grippy which is my preference. 5/5 Mid Range

    Great Stable Midrange!

I haven't been the biggest fan of Dynamic's plastic in the past, but I've been super impressed with this Lucid plastic... It's got such a great feel being both grippy and flexible. My only criticism of this disc is that mine is quite flippy if I throw it at full power. Even at 177g, I have to throw it on a fair bit of hyzer to keep it from turning over. If I throw it at 50% power, then it's laser straight with some finish to it. I can get a similar flight with my Fission Hex, but the Hex will definitely have less finish and more understability once it's beat in.

Solid, do-it-all midrange. It's stable enough to be predictable and somewhat forgiving, but certainly not a meathook. I would say it flies pretty true to the numbers. Straight flight with a forward pushing fade at the end. Nice glide to it as well. These can get a lot of distance for a mid. I can push these farther than Buzzzes, Rocs, Roc3s, and other popular mids. I think this mold lends itself better to backhand rather than forehand (I don't really ever forehand it, but I also don't have the greatest forehand). This is a solid mid that any level of player could find a use for. For beginners, the neutral/slightly stable flight will teach you how to manipulate angles and lines to get different flight paths. For seasoned players, this mid can handle power and maybe be one of your farthest flying midranges. There's a reason so many players bag one of these. It lives up to the hype.

Incredibly versatile. Probably the longest mid out there. Very much a point and shoot mid when put on a tiny hyser. Small turn and small fade with a zero net result. This disc can kick out some of your fairway drivers out your bag with the distance it can reach. I use it for anything between 250-350 feet. Usually bag 4 in different condition. Can't say enough good things about this disc. This disc is not over stable like the numbers would suggest but it is stable. Not impossible but not ideal for a decent headwind. A true workhorse for your bag! Just buy it!

Top 3 of my favorite discs right now the Truth is great for everybody. It is one of the best discs you can get as a beginner and throw all the way until you are a touring pro. The truths flight numbers are perfect and I would possibly even move its glide up, whenever I throw it my card mates constantly comment how it glides for so long. It does not take much power at all to get a Truth very far. Its fade is also very reliable and smooth, it will fly straight for a very long time and begin to fade at the end of the flight. It definitely has enough fade to get around obstacles or throw simple hyzers but not enough to throw flex lines or dump to the ground for slower arms. For bigger more powerful arms the truth will flip up a little bit then fly like normal with a long straight flight and a reliable fade at the end. I personally don't like a truth on forehand as I throw much more overstable discs on forehand but it is comfortable for both grips. On a backhand the truth is one of the most comfortable discs I have ever thrown and I would definitely suggest it for anyone.

Disc: 178g DGPT 2021 Lucid EMAC Truth

Feel: Beadless, shallow, with more of an aggressive wing than a Buzzz.

Flight: I have often heard it called a "better Buzzz" and I would have to agree. Everything a Buzz could do the Emac could do better. Backhand, forehand, headwind, etc. Especially handling power. I end up turning over a Buzzz but the Emac acts like a fairway driver and just goes! It was even the reason I got the only birdie on my card in a tournament when I threw an Emac over water in a headwind and it fought through on a frozen rope to simply park the hole.

Conclusion: Honestly, once I discovered a Teebird the Emac kind of lost its spot. Additionally, I don't really care for "Buzzz-type" midranges as I feel they are a bit limiting. If you throw a Buzzz give the Emac a try.

PS if you haven't seen Home Slice Disc Golf's video give it a look.

The Emac Truth is a disc you can trust.  Dead straight lines with solid finish (fade).  Stable but forgiving.  I find it to be similar to the Pine but it feels shallower in my hand.  It also works great for forehands, especially on approaches.

I would recommend this to anyone.

The Emac Truth has ridiculous distance. I feel more comfortable throwing this disc on a 400ft hole than my normal fairway drivers. The glide on this midrange is amazing and will travel forever. I believe this midrange is more of a 6 speed than 5 speed because of how shallow it is. The feel is also a very big component of this midrange. Its slim profile perfectly fits in my hand, unlike most mids. For example, the Roc, Roc3, Buzzz and many other top molds don't fit as comfortably as the Emac. The Emac Truth is the superior midrange and I highly suggest this disc for any player whether it be someone new to the game or a professional. Eric McCabe has also been a big promoter of this disc. I bought it right after watching Eric's channel and was instantly hooked. This mid is definitely a world champ disc.

Disc - Emac Truth Lucid Plastic

Just to pre-frame things, I have been playing more seriously for around 1 year but have played on and off for about 8 years. I am right hand dominant with a pretty even split between forehand and backhand shots. My honest drive distance is around 275-300 feet with a max of around 350 on a good day.

This disc has quickly become my workhorse midrange from the tee. No joke this thing gets the distance of a fairway driver with the control of a mid range. For any shots around 250 feet I know I can confidently put this where I want it to go. This disc has gone 300 off the tee for me. As a brand new disc, it had little to no turn at all unless forced on a slight anhyzer line. On a hyzer release this disc will have a smooth consistent pushing hyzer flight and will not turnover. When released flat this disc will travel straight and finish with moderate fade. Very predictable.

I have this disc in the lucid, prime, and fuzion plastics. Lucid is most stable followed by fuzion and the prime. They are all excellent with only slight variation in stability.

I find the Emac truth a very straight and reliable disc. I love this midrange disc. I find that midranges in general help all disc golfers in learning how to throw discs and also the ways to get distance. I recommend this disc for most beginners. Beginners in general should be able to throw any disc, so you will probably be able to throw this disc. This disc has a nice position in my bag. I use it for shaping shots and for doing very touchy upshots. I find that the more I use this disc, the more I learn special things about it. I find the this disc is a good disc for people who have played a lot of ultimate frisbee. It will probably be great for you. The design of this disc feels that it is a bit bigger than other discs so it may fit in your hand perfectly. I find that this disc is very versatile and I can throw 275-315 feet with this disc. I know that if I don’t put to much power and put it nice and high in the air, I will probably go the line which I want. I find that this disc is very straight so whenever I aim this disc I aim it straight at the basket and have like a 1-2 step runup before releases with control. This disc will bring control into your game. Disc golfers sometimes only aim to get the most amount of distance on their drivers but forget other important things such as getting control into their game. I find that I have gained a lot of control by using this disc. I also feel that this disc is perfectly fit into everyone's bag. From a beginner to a pro, this disc can fit into your bag as it just feels great in the hand. The rim of this disc is so nice holding as I know that I can do anything with it. Beginners should not go any further and higher speed then this disc. For those who are new to the sport, I think that this disc can just do well in your hand. I find that this plastic is quite good in most conditions, yet can give me a bit of trouble when I am at the course on a hotter day. It does then tend to be a bit gummy. Overall, this disc should be tried by everyone. It may not be for you, but I think that you will enjoy throwing it. It is great in my bag and I use it for most touchy upshots. Give it a try and maybe you will like it.

The EMac Truth was an auto-include in my bag as the more overstable companion to my Buzzz.

I recently misplaced my trusty Gstar Teebird (I think I literally just left it laying on the course when switching discs - don't you hate that?), so I wanted a new option for an overstable disc between my Zone and my 9-speeds in the bag. Most of the holes on my local course are in the 200'-230' range, so I was curious whether I'd like this disc for the shots that I'd usually dial down the Teebird for.

This is an outstanding midrange mold! The ESP Buzzz is probably my most-used disc, and the EMac is definitely more stable-to-overstable and has more glide than that Buzzz. I threw some drives with the EMac in the field and found that I could crank it without much fear of an accidental turnover. It would more easily get out past 250' than my Buzzz. Its flight was impressively straight with no visible turn at that distance. The fade at the end of the flight was noticeable, but smooth and reliable on flat and slightly inclined releases - right where I wanted it for shallow dogleg shots.

This disc can also handle a decent hyzer or spike hyzer line at short range, and is a nice approach forehand disc.

Compared to a Roc I was considering, the smaller bead on the Truth was more comfortable for me. The rim of the EMac Truth is very similar to a Buzzz, but it feels ever so slightly easier to powergrip if you like driving with a midrange. Handfeel is person-specific, so I can't speak to whether you should choose it over its popular competitors, but I get the appeal of this somewhat overstable mid!

I say somewhat beginner friendly because if you have a really spongy arm like I did when I started, the overstability might be a bit frustrating. However, if you're coming up on 150'-200' and can get a reasonably flat release, this disc is money.

Edit 9.21.2021: I'm still loving this disc. Since my first review, I'm starting to hit nearly 300' with my midranges. The EMAC continues to get a bit more easy distance than the Buzz at that range. I still bag both- I just use the EMAC when I need another 15' or so and don't want to risk over-cranking my Buzzz.

Ok to start, this disc's numbers have to be way off...but in a good way.  It also depends on the state of your disc as well.  Right now mine flies as listed below.  The speed rating of five is pretty spot on.  However, the glide of this disc is amazing.  It's listed as an approach but it easily blurs the line between approach and control driver.

I actually prefer this disc in the prime plastic as it beats in a little faster and lets you get that subtle negative turn before the fade.  This disc is also very responsive to release angle.  With a flat release you get a very small "S" in your line with a smooth finish.  With just a little bit of anhyzer you can get a nice say -2 turn for about 150 ft.  If you put some power behind it and release on a hyzer, it will flip up nicely, stay straight and then finish with the predictable fade.

I throw rhfh and rhbh but I really don't use this for my forehand shots as much.  Its great with touch from about 50 ft out rhfh but if I am throwing a longer shot there are other discs that I prefer.  That isn't to say it can't, I'm just not the guy to do it.

I will also say that most of the ones I have had were flat to almost puddle top.  I had one that was a bit more pop topped.  It flew fine but didn't feel as good.

In the end its a disc that fills a lot of slots in a bag.  Especially for new players trying to get a bit more distance, this is a great option for a longer approach disc.  If I were kitting out a new player this would be in their bag.

    178g Prime Burst EMac Truth

I initially got this because my friend had one and he threw it very straight with forehands so when i saw one i bought it. The whole forehand thing didn't work for me but i had been struggling trying to throw my other midranges, Buzz, Rancho Roc, and Mako3, so i tried it backhand and this thing just flew. It had amazing distance and impeccable accuracy, anywhere i wanted to throw it it would go exactly there. You can manipulate this disc to make it go anywhere and that is why i love it. It doesn't really fly like its numbers say it does in my opinion its extremely straight and has a bit of fade at the end.

Better than the Buzzz! So many players sleep on this incredible disc, and it does not get the level of praise it deserves. Truth is: the Truth shall set you free!

I was blessed to get a Prime EMAC Truth in my starter box. At first it was a bit too overstable for my beginner form, so I learned technique by throwing the Judge and Champion Mako3. Eventually, as a developing player, I worked in the EMAC Truth as my most overstable disc for getting around corners and for flicks. As my original has been worn down by tree collisions, I purchased a Lucid EMAC Truth for a truly reliable 0 turn and 2 fade. In my current bag, this gives me varying levels of midrange stability and fits right between my Mako3 and Zone. One year into disc golf, the Lucid EMAC Truth has a permanent spot in my bag.

The EMAC Truth feels great in the hand with its smooth contours and hardly noticeable, medium-sized bead. The smooth wing of this disc allows for magically clean releases. As far as flight goes, I can always expect this disc to fly straight with stellar glide, and then fade left (RHBH) as it slows down. The amount of fade depends on the height I give it, and in calm conditions I can absolutely rip this disc without turning it over! This midrange flies as far as a driver! It knocked out my Teebird because I am confident there are no holes in my bag between the EMAC Truth and my 9-speeds (Thunderbird, Valkyrie, Sidewinder).

    180g Lucid EMac Truth

The EMac Truth is a fantastic midrage.  It has a great feel, not shallow but not too deep.  It has a barely noticeable microbead.  I can throw it backhand or forehand with a nice clean release.  So far the lucid plastic has been very durable with good grip.

The EMac Truth is a very stable straight fliyer.  If I throw it with solid power, it goes straight nearly as far as my 7 speed control driver.  It has a reliable fade, but not too pronounced finish.  If you want to throw it a little softer for an approach, you can definitely look for a nice strong fading finish for placement shots.

This disc makes me wonder why I bother with drivers since it goes nearly as far for my slower arm speed. Once you learn the fade it's pretty easy to hone in on a landing spot and just kinda chuck it out there and watch it hit the mark every time. Aside from tunnel shots this disc can just about do it all from 300 feet in.

I've had a prime and a lucid version. They both have totally different flight patterns. The numbers for the prime are definitely 5 5 0 2. It's a very flat top and on a forehand flick, which is what I use it for, it flies very flat and straight. My lucid version has a bit of a dome and on a forehand flick or regular forehand, it flies like a 5 5 -1 2. It has a considerable amount of turn, especially for a mid-range. Although I almost got my first ace with this disc, it's very much only useful on very certain shots, especially with the turn on my lucid version.

The EMac Truth is a great mid in a lot of ways, but it is not my favorite. I will say that this disc goes very far, especially for a midrange. It can get out just short of most fairway drivers and thus will give a lot of control for longer shots. This distance comes at a cost. I found that the EMac Truth has a bit more turn and more fade in comparison to other popular midranges like the Buzzz or M4. Those discs hold their angle better and do not have the same fade at the end of the flight as this disc does. I think this is an excellent disc for a longer, more open course. Tight courses that require a lot of speed and angle control, however, I would prefer a Buzzz or M4.

I have several of these in both lucid and lucid-x plastic. All 177g+.

    Lucid:

Unbelievable glide, I can get these out almost as far as my 7 speeds. Out of the box they're reliably straight but as I've played more and tried other similar mids, I don't trust these as soon as they start to beat in. They get about a -0.5 to -1 turn pretty quickly, but will fight back.

    Lucid-X:

Not quite as glidey as regular lucid but still good distance. More reliable straight flight and left finish than non X plastic. If I were bagging this disc still, it would be in this plastic for sure.

Overall good disc, I just can't trust the non X plastic after a few rounds, so I've moved onto another stable mid that holds its stability more reliably.

I have 2 prime and 1 lucid, this and Judge are the only DD that make my bag.  The EMac is always in my bag and is my straightest flying disc out to 225 I use this on most longer upshots thrown forehand, although some call for backhand in which case I prefer the Buzzz.  The primes that I've had are flat top and comfortable while the lucid is slightly domey and a little sharp - only use EMac forehand.  Only been playing 3 months and have been able to ace from a drop zone across lake around 175 feet and a few birdies with this disc.  Won't be leaving my bag anytime soon.  The only disc I have that compares to this disc's  forehand capabilities might be Kaxe Z but it isn't as straight although it is more comfortable, premium and longer.  A new player's mid range could be covered with this disc and a Buzzz.  The Prime gets beat up easily but the Lucid isn't the same disc.  I would like DD to identify the next step up the speed scale from this disc it isn't the Escape!.

I had to chase in my lifetime. The first one was a 5/5/0/2 and the one I have now is a 5/5/-1/1. I really enjoyed them both. The grip I feel and the distance I get out of them is pretty incredible overall. The one with more fade I didn't get as much distance but I felt I could control it a lot better and also get a more consistent drive than I currently can with the other one. I even got my first ace with his disc. It holds up in very windy situations, I think the truth is a very good disc overall, I've driven with it, I've used it for controlled shots, I have used it for really high flip up shots, and I've also even putted with it in the past. At the time I really enjoyed putting with it just simply because the amount of control I thought I had with it at longer distance was nice, as my putting has gotten a lot better I've come to realize that although it is still a good putter like disc, there are better putters out there to use and obviously this is so since this is a mid range. But if you haven't tried the truth, I would suggest getting one, then I would also suggest getting it with the ratings of 5/5/-1/1

I picked up an EMac Truth after grip locking my Lucid Truth in to the junk. I was looking to replace that disc with another Truth but all that was available at the time was an Emac.

There are definite differences between the two. The Truth is much straighter and easier to control (grip lock excluded). It had a nice straight flight that was easy to obtain. The EMac was a bit tougher to wrangle in order to get the same or comparable flight. A level throw that would finish with slight fade now had a much more pronounced fade. The distance was slightly shorter as well. With time I have learned the nuances of the EMac in order to make it a very predictable disc. I prefer it over the Buzzz SS and the Roc3 although both are great discs. I like the disc feel. Actually it really is a combination of the Buzzz and Roc3 in its structure, flight and feel.

I recommend for nearly all players. Newer or less experienced players will enjoy this disc but there is a learning curve to get it to do what you want it to do. And just like my long lost disc: The Truth is out there.

I got an EMac at a tournament a couple months ago and I used it the whole time I was there for my upshots to the basket. The weight really helps it to stay more stable and make it to the basket and make a bid for a putt.

This was a disc which took me two years to find a spot in my bag for it. I bought a sparkle lucid eMac Truth a couple of years ago, expecting it to replace my old, beat up Roc3. First time I threw it on a hyzer approach, it flipped up and carried 50' long. I found the flight to be inconsistent and slightly unpredictable. In headwinds it would turn and burn, in tailwinds it would hold straight. A couple of years later, I was looking for something I could power down on and have it hold straight with very (very) gentle fade, and this fit the bill. When thrown at 50-60% power, it rides straight, turns slightly, and gently fades left. I was expecting this disc to be a bit more beefy than it was, but it ended up being more of a "point and shoot" type. I heard Paige Pierce say that she could grab 12 eMac truths off the shelf and all 12 would fly differently, so I believe this is a rather inconsistent mold.  I did recently get a lucid-x eMac truth, which is reliably and predictably overstable.

After throwing the buzz for a couple years I just never felt super confident with it. I would only get the shot I really wanted from it occasionally.

With the Emac truth I look forward to pulling it out. I feel lot more confident putting it on all kinds of angles. Can't wait to throw this thing more and get some more distance out of it

    Disc - Lucid EMac Truth

Feel - The EMac Truth is possibly the best feeling mid in the market. It is not deep or shallow and seems to fit in everyone's hand. It has a microbead but it is not noticeable at all. It fits nicely for a forehand or a backhand. Lucid plastic, in my opinion, is the best plastic in the game. It is very grippy, while still being very durable.

Flight - The flight of this disc is extremely straight with the tiniest bit of finish at the end. It flies extremely far for a mid and has great glide. As this disc beats in, it becomes very straight and then later in its life can become a great turnover mid.

Overall - The EMac truth is definitely my favorite mid and possibly one of my favorite discs in my bag. It can be thrown for a wide variety of shots and think that almost any player can benefit from having it in their bag.

I got an Emac Truth in Prime Burst with my Hypnosis Stamp on it from Infinite discs originally, and LOVED it! It flew straight and finished left, just like I wanted. And it was super flat on top like I love for forehands. Unfortunately, the first day I owned it, it ended up getting run over by a truck on gravel at a local park and that completely chewed up the bottom rim. So, now it flies very understable, which defeats the purpose of this disc for me.

So, I immediately bought the Emac in Lucid plastic, and I love it even more! It's slightly more stable than the Prime Burst, but way more durable. It flies/glides straight forever, and then reliably finishes left. It's a tad bit less stable than a Roc3, Quite a bit less stable than a Buzzz OS, and way less stable than a Justice. So, when I want a reliable mid-range that I can trust, this is it!

The only thing I don't love is that this Lucid version has a bit of a dome to the top, and I'm not as much a fan of it for forehands for that reason. If it had the same flat top, I'd give this disc a 100%!

This is a great midrange disc. It's very straight with only a slight bit of turn, and the 2 fade means that it tends to finish a little left. It's comparable to a Buzzz for most of its flight, though the Emac Truth does fade a little more. Beat in, they fly more like normal Truths.

Everyone knows this disc, and most people who throw this disc love it. I am no different. This might be my absolute favorite disc I have ever thrown. It is a max distance mid-range, flying farther than some of my fairways. It feels amazing in the hand, and it can do whatever you need. It can hold a hyzer, it can flip to flat, and it can be on a controlled anhyzer. This is my got to disc for woods and technical shots, and shots that are in the 300-350 range. Great distance, reliable and controlling disc, and a great addition to anybody looking for a new midrange.

This is the best disc I have thrown. I picked this disc up when I was about 5 months into playing and it has never left the bag. When you start out this will be a bit over stable and will teach you how to throw flat shots. As your game progresses, this disc will grow with you. For me it is a go to for anything 200-300 feet. If I had to do a one disc round, I would chose and EMac Truth!

This disc is very very weird. It has FREAKY distance for a midrange and flies further than some of my overstable distance drivers. But I found that freaky distance to be a liability rather than an asset. I would consitently overshoot the pin because I would think "it's a midrange, throw it like a midrange"... Then I'd compensate and it would come up short. I found that unless my power was just perfect, the disc had too much glide and not enough stability for approach shots.

Being a straight midrange, it just doesn't have that reliable fade to cover mistakes like a fairway or distance driver. If I threw it with just a touch too much hyzer, it was just barely stable enough that it wouldn't flip and would ride the hyzer wide left. If I threw it just a touch too flat it would flip and ride to the right the entire way and never fight back out.

I eventually found use for the disc as a tight-fairway-woods driver, as it could get driver distance while flying midrange lines. Beyond that, I prefer the reliability of either a less glidey mid or a more overstable driver.

I have only had this disc a day, but I got two rounds in with it so far.  It feels similar to my Method, but not quite as stable (I am guessing this was the basis for the Method).  It is stable in the sense that it will hold the line that you put it on, but not so stable that it will dump out at the end.  It was even stable enough to hold a nice flat forehand shot.

My one complaint is that this is the fourth trilogy disc that I have received with a very sharp "bead" on it.  It feels like a molding mistake.

I would say this has become my favorite disc in my bag.  I'm very new to the sport, so having this as a very straight flying midrange with a bit of fade has helped me in many situations.  Technical holes with trees, or open holes with a slightly longer look at the hole.

Plus, the lucid plastic and the eyrachnid stamp on mine just looks so good.  I've ordered a few more to keep at the ready.

Great midrange. Wouldn't call it overstable, but just stable. If you rip it, it will turn but always come back to finish straight overall. It's a great feeling disc in hand and can be very versatile both BH and FH. Think of it as a slightly more forgiving buzzz (in my opinion.)

While I wouldn't trust it in a strong wind, this thing is stable enough to handle some wind and definitely some power. If you haven't tried one yet, I think it's one of those discs everyone should give a shot because something could really click!

The EMac Truth is a little bit of a strange mid. For me it seemed fairly fast compared to other mids. Longer too. I noticed I was overshooting holes with this disc routinely. It glides and penetrates better than you'd think when you throw it.

Overall, the Emac Truth is a bit of a problematic disc for me. It wears in too quickly and starts getting flippy. I found that I had to release this disc with hyzer to keep it from turning over entirely. Thrown into any sort of headwind (even a breeze) it turns over pretty badly and drifts way right.

The Emac Truth seems best for long (almost driver length) hyzerflip midrange shots. This disc will cover a surprising amount of ground for a mid.

This disc is NOT my first choice for a midrange disc. I find it way too erratic to throw consistently. The EMac Truth drifts all over the place and it doesn't quite have enough late fade to end up where you want it.

This is a fast mid. This is the only mid that i bag, because it is the only mid that i need. I use it for small hyzers, straight shots, small S shots, and forced turnovers. I don't see a need for another discs. The Lucid plastic is very durable and i feel like each disc will last me a long time. The best part about this disc is its speed and distance. This thing wants to go fast and far, i had to learn to throw it softer to get the desired distance out of this disc. The only downside is that it is not very great in a stiff headwind.

To me, the Emac Truth is a very controllable, very far flying midrange; it can fly as far as some fairway drivers. It is fast for a midrange and has a ton of glide; the disc has almost no turn when new, and a reliable but not strong fade.

It's great in the woods, and can handle plenty of forehand power, provided that you do not roll your wrist. You can shape all kinds of lines with these. I do not recommend it for headwinds, unless it is a mild headwind.

I would recommend this disc to all players other than complete beginners; they can look to the regular Truth.

The EMac Truth is a stable flying midrange from Dynamic Discs. The EMac version of the Truth is what I thought the Truth was going to be. It has some real stability to it, and you can really put some power behind it without fear of it not coming back. The best comparison to this disc is a fresh Buzzz. It has that straight flight with a little fade, but still very workable. It feels great in the hand, with a low profile and flat top, and the Lucid plastic feels great and is durable. Great disc.

    This disc, y'all.

I bought my first Emac on a whim because I saw a guy on facebook selling one for 8 bucks and I was like, Might as well right I've heard good things. So I get the disc and it's a 172g Lucid Emac. It goes straight into my bag. I can flip it up and get a healthy fade out of it, release flat and get a slight turnover line, like this disc can do  it all.

Fast forward a few months, I trade for a 179g Emac to be a backup to the one I already have, but this one is new, not used like the other one came as. This one flies dead straight with a tiny but reliable fade on a flat release. In my almost 2 years of playing, this is the first mold that I've been able to bag 2 of the same disc with the same plastic and everything that I've been able to say with confidence that I know that they're the same disc but since they're different weights and condition, they fly differently.

All this goes to say that you could realistically get yourself 3-4 emacs, season them differently, and cover almost and mid range shot you need. (except for massively OS, you might need a Justice for that one.) This disc is amazingness, and I HIGHLY recommend it. <3 the Emac.

After feeling frustrated with my inability to use any of Innovas well respected mid ranges with any success, I began trying mids from many different brands.  The only truly neutral-stable mid that I could use was a Classic Truth.  For several weeks it was my workhorse on the course, but began getting understable incredibly quickly and so I set to replacing it.  I had heard good things about the Emac Truth and so I decided to give them a try in Lucid plastic and no decision has ever been better for my game.

In heavier weights they truly do feel and fly like drivers, but with the touch and accuracy of a midrange.  It is difficult to flip with a little hyzer and yet easy to give an anyhyzer line.  You can bomb it high and let it glide or punch it low through a tight gap and still rely on pinpoint accuracy.  DEFINITELY a disc that could easily replace 3 or 4 other discs in your bag and fulfill all their roles without a hitch.  For newer players I would definitely recommend a Premac Truth as opposed to this mold, but for any player intermediate and above the Emac Truth is the perfect utility midrange/short fairway slot disc.

My mid set-up is dominated by the EMac Truth. I have a beat-in Lucid that will turn just a touch before it fades back, a BioFuzion that is slightly beat and flies very neutral, I also carry a flat-top Prime Burst that is still pretty fresh and very stable. You can't ask for much more in a mid than what this disc does. It holds a line, it glides very well for a slower-flying disc and it has enough stability to be reliable in most situations.

This a very well made disc.  It has some stability, but not overstable, which allows this disc to be used by about every skill level.  It isn't a flashy distance driver, but it can be a workhorse disc.

I have used this disc off the teepad and really mashed on it, and I have also used it for some finesse shots.  I have used this with a BH and a FH.  I have thrown it into a headwind and with a tailwind.   It really is a go to disc.  This will reach out to about 300 feet pretty easily for me.  But is also very smooth and straight when I dial it back.  It has the stability to finish left on a RHBH and not get turned over which is great.

The lucid disc I have is super flat.  The rim is small and comfortable in the hand and allows a smooth release.  Get this disc and use it.  It's not flashy and fast, but it will deliver results.

My disc is a 158 gram Lucid Air disc.  Unlike in other plastics, the Air plastic has a noticeable dome to the top. It is easy to get good distance for a mid, the Air plastic does like to glide.

I don't think the Air plastic is truly representative of this disc, because it loves to climb. Many times I have tried to shape a shop with it only to have it unexpectedly climb and hit a tree limb.  I also hit a basket with it on my third throw and almost had an ace. I have not been able to get a hyzer flip to straight out of it, even at 100% arm speed it holds the hyzer angle for the whole flight.

On the whole I would say that the EMac is a very good disc, but not one that lends itself well to Air plastic. It is, however, much more wind resistant than my Air plastic Warship.

I have only thrown the EMac Truth a handful of times right now, so take my review for what it is worth.

My midrange game primarily consists of the V-technology discs from Innova. (VCobra, VRoc, VRoc3) This is mostly because of the feel in the hand. I have a hard time ripping on discs with smaller rims, ie. mids and putters, so they are usually only controlled low-powered sub-300ft shots that I pull them out for.

All this being said, I picked up an Emac Truth, and from the get go, it just felt sweet coming out of my hands. It sits comfortably in my hand which gives me that extra confidence to power up on the shot. I haven't tried many different types of shots, but on either a flat-hyzer or hyzer shots, I was able to consistently put it on my landing zone at the 300-325ft range. For me, I am seriously considering retiring my VRoc3 thanks to the EMac Truth.

I'm excited to see where it takes me. As Eric would also say with DiscGolfAnswerMan, The EMac Truth should be in everyone's bag.

Awesome disc! Can't say enough good about this disc to be honest. I use to bag two of them till one of them took a fateful flight into the woods one day to be lost. But I had a fresh one to replace it. Both were lucid and 178 and 179. I use this disc for basically any shot I can think of. You can crank on it with a drive and it will glide for days for a mid and you can power down and get a good upshot with this this. When throwing it it is pretty straight out of the box with a baby fade and sometimes get an ever so small skip. As it broke in I started getting some turn and less fade but it was enough to bring it back to the target line. Recommend this disc to anyone you won't regret it.

My go to midrange. It nearly has the distance of a fairway driver while providing a straight flight with a consistent finish. Biofuzion or beat in ones will provide a nice slow turnover without burning into the ground. This is the only midrange (outside of a utility) that I bag

This may not be a straight flyer for a new thrower, but should not be a crazy overstable finish. I would give this to new players with the thought that this is disc should get them by untill they are reaching 275-300. after that id look at moving into fairways. This disc can easily handle that power and will reward great form. I don't bag this only do to feel in hand. performance wise if a regular truth is finishing to the right unintentionally it may be time to step up to an emac

Great disc for open shots, as well as controlled technical approaches. Although the OG Truth is a suitable alternative for players with lower arm speeds, the EMAC is a hair above in terms of stability and distance.

This is a great disc for beginners needing a good straight glide shot and also great for more advanced players who are looking for a consistent driving midrange. This provides great control and perfect for a 350 hyzer flip to flat shot. Highly recommend in the EMAC mold for the greatest stability.

Why I waited so long to pick up an Emac Truth is beyond me. I traded my Star TL for a 178g Lucid Emac Truth with a buddy of mine in the middle of a casual round, and I used it off the tee and approach shots for the majority of the back 9. This thing can really hold a line for me. I've always been an avid Roc/Roc3 fan for my mid-ranges, and this thing is close to replacing them. I am completely impressed with its performance off the tee and on the fairway, even though it's a little heavier than what I'm used to with mids. Almost every throw (except for my shank into a tree off the tee when I tried too hard) followed every line I wanted it to go. Low hyzer around some trees, hyzer flip that flattened up, turned a touch left then faded gently (LHBH), low turnover shot with a nice lateral fade instead of stalling, just wow. As for forehand, I can throw it flat and it will fly flat and straight with a slight lateral fade at the end, or a slight hyzer forehand to land next to the basket for my approach. If you're curious about this disc, definitely give it a shot! heh.

I lost what must have been an enchanted Elite Z Buzzz and my friend got me one of these as a replacement. It isn't the same and I am looking to get another Buzzz with magic in it back in my bag, but this disc definitely has its place.

My EMac beat in very quickly, maybe within a month of playing. At speed it has a very nice high speed turn before a slight fade at the end. I recently bagged a sparkle EMac that is much more overstable and is beating in much slower and definitely see a place in my bag for both discs. Very comfortable to hold, very good at flying dead straight when they are newer. If you haven't found a midrange that works for you, this will probably be close.

This disc is essential to my 3 disc midrange lineup (paired with a Verdict and Justice).  These are slightly more stable than the regular run of Truths but still unbelievably workable for a variety of shots. DD's Lucid plastic feels so good... people want to compare it to Innova's Champ plastic based on looks but the grip and durability is far superior.

This disc is money. It flies super straight when it is new and when broken in a little bit, it can be released with hyzer, flips up and goes dead straight. This disc is a great midrange that I would recommend to players of all skill levels. This disc is my go to disc for holes between 280-320 feet.

I got this as a step between my super overstable Drone, and my more stable Fugitive. At first before it is beat in, it's perfect. Straight flight with a nice left finish.

This disc seems to seek out chains! I don't know why but it just heads towards the basket on upshots or drives. Loved it.

Only thing is, I got mine in Lucid plastic and it beat in way too fast. It has more understable turn qualities to it now. Not sure if I'm gonna keep bagging it.

Maybe try a different plastic next time like biofusion?

Otherwise, I recommend trying one out!

I'll preface this review by saying I'm not a DD thrower and have really no association with any disc company. I simply throw whatever discs I feel best suit my needs. That said, the EMac Truth is an outstanding midrange disc. Very similar to a Buzzz, but IMO the Truth is slightly shallower, a hair faster, and has a bit of late fade that the Buzzz lacks. I found that I actually really got to depend on the late fade of the EMac Truth. Helps bring the disc back to target if you miss right.

The EMac Truth in fact replaced my Z Buzzz in my bag. I feel I'm able to shape shots better with the Truth without the risk of it flipping over. I still love the Buzzz, but it had an annoying tendency to drift right at times and never come back. It was also fairly useless in any sort of headwind.

I feel like the EMac Truth is a disc best suited to experienced players looking for extreme precision and accuracy. It has a very streamlined feel and flight. It isn't a tall disc and doesn't have that clunky flight some midranges do.

Not for beginners. Highly recommended for good players. Perhaps the best stable mid I've thrown.

Emac Truth is a beadless, slightly larger diameter midrange. It feels fantastic is hand for both forehand and back hand.

This disc, in max weight, is surprisingly turn resistant. It also has a very slight fade at the end of it's flight. I can throw them around 250 - 330ish ft. They are surprisingly fast and have insane glide.

Speed is about a 6 IMO, Glide is between 5 and 6, it will turn when thrown with some power so I put it at a -.5 but at it's appropiate speed a 0 is a good number too. There is some dependable fade on the disc if it has enough air time to slow down, 1.5.

For me, as an advanced player, this mid is my catch all through the woods, I get great distance and amazing accuracy. It's perfect for hitting a line and still getting the distance you need!

This disc should be a staple in everyone's bag!

Give this one some time. And learn to throw a midrange at 80%.... Its a midrange. This disc does not replace a Roc3 (That's what Anchors are for) This disc replaces your leopard and other neutral, low-speed fairway drivers. It holds hyzers, anhyzers, does tunnel shots on hyzerflips. Quite often, I've thrown it as a "giggle" after a more overstable option, and immediately regretted not trusting the EMac in the first place. I also use this disc to check  whether I'm releasing discs smoothly. If OAT rears it's ugly head, I take out my emacs and get things back in check. One more thing, It's crazy long. Like....CRAZY long for a midrange.

I wanted to believe.... I wanted to believe the hype.... The Emac truth is a Stable midrange from DD. It has the ever so tiniest micro-bead and a relatively comfortable grip forehand and backhand. The Emac truth tends to have a relatively flat top and for review purposes my testers are a 170g Biofuzion and a 170g Lucid.

The Emac truth is less stable than you're expecting it to be, flat out. At 170g where I picked mine up they are very pliant and willing to fly just about any line you put it on assuming you have the shot dialed. They glide reasonably well although I feel as though people have vastly overhyped the glide as it in no way shape or form possess more glide than my Roc3's or Buzzz, I just don't see it.  As they break in they begin to develop some high speed turn allowing them to fly hyzerflip lines or progressive turn overs. Sidearm this disc really does not have the right amount of stability unless you are comfortable starting it out on a hyzer (something I struggle to do with midranges forehand). That all being said it does get decent distance for a mid.

The Emac truth if anything prefers a tailwind as it's relatively neutral nature allows it to fly a very true line, it does not possess enough stability for managing headwinds.

The Emac truth in Biofuzion plastic may prove to be a decent stable complement to an understable midrange for a beginner.

Overall the Emac truth is a decent disc, I feel as though it may be a little overhyped but it performs up to par with most others on the market. It's lack of stability makes it a little more favoring the hyzerflip or turnover style of throwing and will probably need a complement to make the most of it. 3/5 stars is my overall score on the Emac Truth, good but not quite good enough to really earn the slot in my bag.

A fantastic neutral mid that definitely varies run to run.  It's not as stable as I thought it was originally but can still handle a good bit of power.  Once you beat them in, they can ride almost any line.  I definitely recommend checking these out.

177 White Lucid....Holy flip machine, Batman, I can't believe McCabe put his name on this p.o.s. Did I get a lemon?? Funny story: So after a couple turn and burn back hands, I tried a gentle flick with a steep hyzer release into a slight headwind and the breeze just laughed and bitch slapped it off the fairway...that was it, I was done. If this is a stabilized Truth, I would HATE to see what that disc was like. Now the good: if my disc is a standard performer, this would be an excellent beginner mold because I could tell it probably had great distance potential. I believe that about does it for me with trilogy, but hey the plastic feels and looks great!

The EMac Truth, Dynamic Discs most popular mid-range and for good reason. It's a stable mid-range that will do basically anything you want it to do. It's the solid workhouse in my bag. I really like the way it feels. For me, it feels like a Buzzz, but goes a touch farther. As I began to transition my mixed bag to more of the Trilogy lineup, this fits the spot that my beloved Buzzz (which I still carry) has.

Straight: Throw it flat and hard and watch it fly very straight. Mine is still fairly new, may barely drift to the right, but always ends back on a hyzer.

Hyzer: Throw is on a hyzer, and it will hold the line.

Anhyzer: Give it some power and rip it, it will hold the anhyzer line, but I notice that is begins to fight itself out of it (depending on the release angle).

Trusty solid work horse. Depending on the plastic and level of beat in, you could honestly use the EMac Truth for your straights, biofuzion for hyzer flips, and a brand new Lucid for those reliable fades.

To me this is one of the best if not the best mid range on the market.  I found the EMAC Truth by accident one of my friends let me try it because I was looking for a mid range with the flight pattern of this disc. Now I have 5 of them!  The EMAC is so awesome I find that I can throw it as far as my fairwary drives with much more stability.  It will fly so straight and finish with a little fade.  I carry beat in and new ones because once you beat it in it will even turn over for you a little and still finish with that little fade.  The new ones keep that straight flight with the little fade at the end.

I think all begginers should carry this disc. It can help improve your game before really getting in to the higher speed fairway and distance drivers.  You can throw it and know what it will do every time!

    Fantastic disc!!!

For quite some time I didn't think Discraft would ever leave my bag due to my love for the Z Buzzz and the Z Buzzz SS.  I have tried quite a few discs, but over the last few months I've been looking for a mid that with a harder fade at the end of it's flight.  The Roc3 and the Wasp both meet this requirement but I just wasn't consistent with the Roc3 (likely due to my form) and I really should have purchased a Wasp in the upper 170g range instead of the 169g disc I purchased.

Anyway, after a few throws with the EMac Truth I really started liking this disc.  Within a week the Buzzz has left my bag.   That's saying a lot considering what a great disc the Buzzz is.  The EMac Truth is more resistant to turn, has a harder finish, and handles the wind a littler better.  I love the feel of this disc.  I find the Lucid plastic to be a little gummier than the Z plastic yet firmer than the Champion plastic. My midrange distance is now reaching up to about 290' due to some improvements in my form and I find my distance to be more consistent with the Truth over the Buzzz.

I own both a 176g and 180g disc in the Lucid plastic.  I highly recommend this disc for Intermediate and up players.

177 g Red Lucid EMac Truth

This disc just ended up not being for me. I lost my trusty MD3, so I turned to my friend who let me borrow his "like new" Emac Truth. If you are like me and are more used to MD3's or Roc3's you like pretty OS midranges. While the Truth does have a good bit of fade, in my time with it, it seemed to have more turn than I expected or wanted. It was controllable, but I really like to crank on a mid range and watch it stay flat and finish left. While I think the EMac Truth is a good disc, it is not for me. It feels very good in hand, though. Much better than any other mid I have ever thrown.

If I had to play a round with one disc, this would be it.  My EMac Truth is a purple 175g in lucid plastic.  I can't say enough about this disc.  When I started playing about 2 years ago, one of my first mids was a lucid Truth that I regretfully lost.  In an attempt to replace it, I purchase another Lucid Truth and after it got some wear on it, it began to turn more than I liked.  It wasn't what I remembered the Truth being, but I still kept it as a slightly understable disc.  After hearing about this version, I picked one up and it absolutely blew me away.  Mids are the bread and butter of my game, and I use this thing for shots 300'-325' away.  For me, it flies dead straight for a good portion of it's flight and then begins to fade very predictably.  I also find that if there is not much wind out, I can crank this disc without the consequences of turning it over. I would not recommend using it as a headwind disc, I use my Bard for that kind of shot.  Do yourself a favor and pick up one of these.  Favorite disc of all time.

One of my top 5 favorite discs.

Lucid 177g. This disc is the real deal. It's perfectly stable. You can do big hyzers, tight s-curves, and lazer straight lines. I don't know if I'd recommend turnover shots with it, but at the weight I bought it at I wasn't expecting that anyway. It is the ultimate, stable, workhorse mid range/tweener. It compliments a more understable mid range perfectly and is definitely a disc that you can build a bag around. I rely on it for a lot of shots and have gotten birdes more consistently with this disc. It is also very good for both BH and FH shots because of it's consistent stability and slight resistance to turning over.

The EMac Truth is the real deal. After throwing the first version I almost completely passed on trying this, but I gave it one more shot and I'm so glad I did. This is one of my favorite midranges now, and the grip is phenomenal. This thing throws so well it barely feels like I have to put anything behind it, and it just goes. Headwinds aren't particularly nice to it, but it's a pretty neutral mid so that's to be expected. I've started throwing this instead of my buzzz at times, and it's the only thing that's been able to almost completely dethrone it. The only time I go back to my Ti Buzzz is in a headwind.

The EMac truth is....... The truth. This is a great disc for mid range shots (obviously) but works nicely as a driver on shorter holes. If you throw it hard it will stay pretty true (badumtss) with a slight fade at the end. For me this is a slightly less stable version of a roc3. Terrific disc.

I tried the EMac Truth right after it came out and immediately loved it. I bag a regular Lucid Truth, so I had to try out the EMac and see how it compared.

After first throwing the EMac, I would compare it to an Opto Compass or a new TP Sling (probably a VIP Sling as soon as they come out). They are all super strait, have great glide, and a trusty fade.

The EMac goes strait and far with a dependable fade at the end. I would love to eventually work it into my bag, but as I said I currently bag a normal Truth and don't want to switch mid-season, because they are quite different.

The EMac is noticeably more stable, and holds a strait line much better with power behind it. It glides extremely well and goes super far for a mid-range. When I do decide to bag it, I see myself using it off the tee quite a bit. I do like how the normal Truth is very shapeable, but I see the EMac with the ability to fill that same slot with some work.

The EMac, Compass, and Sling are all fantastic strait mids with great glide and dependable fade. I will definitely be working one of these into my bag at the end of the season. I wouldn't say it is an improvement on the normal Truth, but a different disc entirely. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a super strait mid that flies for days!

Profile: Moderate depth, the shape is starting to look more like a control driver but still has the mid feel

Flight: Flies very straight with a bit of fade at the end.  You can really get into this disc and you will get the same flight.  This is almost a tweener disc with flight distance somewhere between a mid and a control driver.

Comparison: Nothing flies quite like this.

Final thoughts: My favorite mid in my bag. I LOVE the feel of this in my hand.  It's longer than advertised too :)  Very consistent disc, this does what I wish my "original" truth was suppose to do.  This is one of those must try discs.

If you dont have an EMac truth, go buy one right now...  its ok ill wait....  ok great, now that you have one let me tell you what an astonishing piece of plastic you have in your hand.  This thing can literally do anything you want.  It can do turnover shots, hyzerbombs, anhyzerbombs, skip shots, rollers, thumbers, tomahawks, and long long drives.  When i first picked mine up in Lucid (175g) I noticed that it flew awfully far for a midrange.  After some field work and measuring with the Udisc App, i had a new midrange long drive of 394 feet.  once you come to terms with the fact that this thing is just going to go an extra 40-75 feet further than every midrange disc in your bag, you can really start to abuse the power that it enables you wield.  i say abuse because this thing is steady like the mail.  this has to be in the top 5 most obedient discs i have ever thrown in my whole live.  now that you know what kind of magic plastic resides in your hands, go buy another.  youll thank me later.

    Stable it up!

After throwing around my daughter's regular-run Truth, I had to try out the Emac variant when a buddy of mine told me he had one. I got in about 20 tosses between rounds of a recent tournament, and I really like the Emac version of the popular Truth disc. It has more stability all around, with a little bit less glide, than a regular Truth. I found the Emac Truth held up better to forehands, which have more natural torque, as well ful-power blasts. Really goosing it I was able to see plenty of turn, but it always faded back to at least center.

While the standard-issue Truth flies like a standard-issue Buzzz, I would say the Emac flies more like a heavy Z Glo Buzzz. If you like the Truth, and have a little bit more of an arm than your average bear, you'll like like the Emac version for sure.

Like many others, I purchased the original-mold Truth several months ago and was disappointed at how understable it was.  I liked the way it felt in the hand, but it was too flippy to replace my Buzzz.  Enter the retooled EMac Truth.  It flies very similar to the Buzzz, but with more stability and more...feel.   The EMac Truth feels better in the hand than any midrange I've ever held.  Feel is very important to me--it gives me confidence in my throws--and the EMac Truth feels like it's contoured to my fingers.  I never thought anything would replace my vaunted Buzzzes.  But I also picked the Dallas Cowboys to go to the Super Bowl last year (dang that paper mache clavicle!).

This disc is money. It's consistently stable and glides really far. I like the feel of this disc as well as the flight path. I typically use the Discraft Buzzz as my stable midrange. Stability wise, the EMAC Truth is about as stable as my max weight Z-plastic Buzzz, but the Truth just goes 20-30 feet farther with the same power throw.

I have a regular Lucid plastic Truth as well, it was one of the original first runs. I really couldn't tell much difference in flight between the too, but perhaps it's the newer versions of the Truth that are substantially more understable.

Overall, if you're looking for a quality all purpuse mid, the EMac Truth fits the bill as good as any other disc out there.

Picked this bad boy up on release and it lives up to the hype. Got my first ever ace with this baby. Flies incredibly strait with just a hint of turn, then a reliable soft fade. it will hold a more or less strait line for 90% of its flight. This is now my favorite disc in my bag!

I threw an EMac Truth for the first time the other day, and I can see what all the hype has been about. I used to keep a Truth in my bag, but it was just too understable for me. This is a great fix for anyone else who had the same problem. The EMac Truth is just a touch more overstable than the Truth, and a little more Trustworthy. I also love the feel of it in my hand. I like discs with beads, and the EMac Truth has a unique rim that could almost be called a microrim. Whatever you call it, it feels great, and flies great too. This is a great midrange to build a game around.
