This was my putting putter when I started out. It served me well for the first six months or so when I was beginning and playing all the time. For some reason as I improved I began to trust the Warden less and less. I tried a bunch of different putting putters, beaded and not, and ultimately moved away from the Warden. It took me a long time to realize what it was that I didn't like about it and ultimately realized it was pretty heavily impacted by wind. I'd recommend it to anyone getting started - it's very point and shoot for putting (never threw it off the tee). It's good for gentle push putting as you work on form and confidence then probably move onto something a bit more stable.

Up until a few days ago I was putting with EMAC Judges, but I picked up a Warden on a whim and in those few days, I have already decided to make the Warden my Putting Putter. The Warden is very comfortable for my hands. Its beadless and im able to get a much cleaner release with them. They putt very straight for me and they have a bit more glide the the EMAC Judge, which works better with my style of putt.

They also throw dead straight and i can get them to fly pretty straight on a sidearm flick as well.

This is my go to for dead straight lazer beam skinny woods tee shots. It rarely ever does me wrong. Very consistent flight. This was my first putting putter. I now putt with a Guard because of the extra glide it carries.

My wife and I are both beginners and argued over who got to throw this disc because it feels great in the hand, flies straight, and sticks to the chains for both of us.  Ended up buying a few more to practice putting.

My favorite putting putter, easily. I get the clean release of a beadless putter, but it's shallower than an Aviar which I like.

When throwing it's slightly understable, even in Lucid-X plastic. Granted it's much more manageable than my classic blend, but it's still understable. Something to be aware of is that the Lucid-X warden is dome-ier than a classic or prime putter.

Now, when I first bought this disc, I actually intended to putt with it, and I did for a while. It was a very nice, straight, and consistent disc with the super late fade on the end. Though I decided to try another putter and have since moved on from the Warden for putting, I now use it for off the tee or shots up to ~250 feet. This has got to be probably the STRAIGHTEST disc in my bag as of right now. It holds whatever line you put it on, the glide is wonderful, and by the end of its flight the energy of it is so low it literally just... well sticks. For slower arms this could be a decently straight to small fade near the end of the flight, but for stronger arms this disc will either turn on you (If you have like Garret Gurthie arms) or will be the straightest disc imaginable. I absolutely love it and will continue to bag mine for days to come.

I got the a Warden on a mix up disc that I bought off of someone, but it did surprise me as a very straight flying disc. It was my first DD disc I had ever thrown and it really did give me some bright thoughts about looking for some DD discs in the future. When I would power up and throw it, it would fly pretty much dead straight on a flat release slightly nose up. If I threw it on a hyzer angle full power I could get a good flip up or if it was thrown flat full power it would slowly drift right but not dump. It was a perfect throwing putter for any shot you would wanna throw. For putting it was also nice, I could throw it straight at the basket and count on it not to fade out early but end up right in the chains. I do not know much about DD plastics but I would say the classic blend would get beat in really quickly but also may get beat up too much for a long term throwing putter. If I were putting with the warden I would get classic but maybe try a more premium for throwing just for a longer lifespan of what flight you want out of it. The only problem I had with the warden is that it was a deeper feeling putter and I have found that I am liking the more shallow putters for throwing. Still the Warden was a surprisingly awesome disc to throw and it may have me looking at DD in the future.

Wardens are my main putting putter, so this review will be for strictly putting.

The rim of the Warden is SUPER smooth. A bit of a rounded edge makes for a clean release. I carry them in classic blend plastic which over the last couple seasons has worn very nicely. They have some small gashes from hitting nubs and trees but it's maintained a smooth feel and still offers a clean release. Inside the circle, a putter is a putter. It's going to fly on whatever angle you give it for a short distance(35' and in) with a little bit of a stable finish toward the end. A hyzer putt will hold the angle with modest power, flat will stay pretty flat, and it will hold an anhyzer angle and slowly fade out at the end of the flight. For push putting, it will hold a nice straight finish with a small fade out. For spin putting, it will hold straight with enough power and pop. The glide on the Warden is very forgiving as it will continue to push forward throughout its flight.

Feel: This Disc is exactly as advertised, beadless. The rim is incredibly smooth, which I am a huge fan of. The top is pretty flat, except for the shoulders which have a quick rounded edge. The Warden feels a little deep to me, but I tend to like deeper putters, so that’s ok. I love the way this disc feels in my hand, it adds a ton of confidence to my putting.

Flight: I don’t actually throw the Warden very often, but when I do it is pretty straight, it definitely has a little flip to it, but you could work it. On the putting green, this thing is a wonder. It holds any line it is put on, all the way to the basket. Released flat, it’ll hit the chains flat. That is truly amazing. I use this disc as a compliment to my McPro Aviar, especially in the cold or rain, because the plastic is better.

Comparison: This disc, flight wise, is very similar to a Classic Aviar. Feel wise, it is pretty unique to any other putter I’ve used. It does feel a little like Discraft’s new Luna.

?Plastic: my warden is in classic blend burst. The disc initially looks like it is getting super beat up, but that is just the burst wearing away a little. Which is nice, there are no bites or divots, just little white spots. The classic blend is grippy, but still a little firm, which makes it amazing for putting in cold weather or wet weather.

Love the warden. I bag 6 of them; classic for putting, and classic soft and fuzion for approach shots. It is definitely a point and shoot putter for approach shots and can hyzer flip really well when powered up. Also does turnover shots really good too.

My putter.  It's versatile in that I can drive it deep but also putt with the Warden.  The beadless profile is fairly flat and with the variety of plastics it can suite all close range needs.  I carry the Classic Blend Bursts for putting, a beat in Classic Blend for turn overs, and a Lucid for a dependable fade finish for driving.  If you want one mold for your 'putting' game, this is it.

    175 Classic Blend

Very nice putter with the same flight as the Judge (minus the bead). Flat top with a medium sized rim for a comfortable feel in the hand. For putting in circle 1 or 2 the Classic Blend is the perfect amount of grip and softness needed to stick onto the chains or the ground if you miss. Will give you confidence every time you step up for a putt. As for up shots, the fuzion or lucid plastics are very nice and feel a little more overstable compared to the softer plastics.

Very comfortable putter; dependable and straight for drives and approaches.

I putted with Aviars (starter pack) when I picked up DG. Switched to Envies after a while because I loved the feel in the hand, but they were too overstable. I bought a Warden and have never gone back.

The Warden is very comfortable. It has a medium depth, smooth rounded rim, and a flat top (in all varieties of Prime and Classic--premium ones are domey). I throw it for everything inside circle 1 and 2, and straight drives and approaches up to 225'ish. It flies true to the numbers out of the box, and handles power well. Some plastics can pick up a little bit of turn as the disc wears in. My favorite plastic is the Classic Blend--it has the best grip and is also more on the stable side. Pick one up, you won't be disappointed.

    175 Classic Blend, Pink.

Nice, beadless, Aviar-like putter. Many people truly love this disc, but to me it is very average. Nothing special, nothing bad.

If this is your go-to disc that you can't live without, then great, buy another one or three. Enjoy! But for me it just didn't click, so I gave it to my daughter.

This disc replaces my XT Nova. It flies dead straight and hardly fades. It is a perfect layup disc as well as an off-the-tee straight shot for 200-250' . It also makes a great putter.

The Warden is my favorite disc that I own, hands down. It can be thrown off the tee for shorter drives, used for approach shots, and handles spin and push putts like a champ. Classic blend is the best plastic.

Recently switched to Classic Blend from Classic Soft and what a difference it makes.  I find the Classic soft become too gummy during the summer but are still useful during winter.
