I received a GStar Krait from a friend and got a chance to field test it. I give 5-star reviews when a disc has obvious flaws, is high quality, and roughly does what it claims to do.

The Krait gets a 4-star review because it seems a little off the mark. I was hoping for a pretty neutral 11-speed (11 5 -1 2) that was maybe even more understable than -1 due to its GStar plastic, which tends to be less stable. Perhaps my mold is odd, but it's surprisingly flat. It doesn't seem to glide nearly as well as a Wraith (11 5 -1 3). It is somehow more overstable than a Star Wraith, and significantly more overstable than any GStar Wraith I've thrown. I've had a lot of form coaching the past two months, and as my power and consistency increase, the Krait really hasn't fulfilled that vision of a neutral 11-speed for controlled distance. The Streamline Trace is maybe the best example of that 11 5 -1 2 slot I've tried so far, which I highly recommend out of the box.

I do not want to fully tank the review because it's very possible I got an odd one, and my guess is that a bit less flat/puddle top would yield a glidier, more neutral disc.

The Krait is an underrated disc. It flys someone flippy to straight for the more powerful thrower in the G* plastic. It is a good controlled driver that would be good with anyone who can throw 300+. I enjoyed it for forehand as well, however, the H3V2 and H4V2 have overtaken this spot in my bag as I like the plastic and the feel in the hand a lot more.

I love this disc! It's my go to driver. It's super straight with a small fade. I throw forehand and this disc is super accurate for me. I have yet to find a disc that's more reliable for my throws! It feels good in my hand and has a clean release. I love the Gstar plastic. It's grippy and if i smack a tree it doesn't go flying the other direction. If you throw forehand I would definitely recommend this disc.

A must have disc for any higher level intermediate player and up. This disc is like a slightly toned down straighter version of the Destroyer. I have had Gstar and star at 170 and love both. I can hit very narrow straight lines and have the disc fade out very predictably every time. I like having the Gstar option because it can take a little abuse if I'm using it for wooded shots.

This disc is exactly what you think it would be if you look at it's flight numbers in relation to Innova's other drivers. Essentially it's a beat in wraith. It's definitely a distance driver because it moves very quickly through the air, but is really easy to carve out tight lines with. It has a slight turn, tons of glide, and always moves softly to the left at the end of the flight. I have a very trusty beat in wraith that I have been throwing forever, and this is what I would put in the bag if I lost it. It would be a great disc if you are stepping into distance drivers for the first time and need something really stable to overstable. The shape of the rim is a little different than most, and gstar kraits tend to be flat on top as opposed to the domey champion ones so I would recommend holding one before you buy it.

I'm just beginning to step up from my 9 and 10 speed drivers to ones with more speed. The Krait is giving me outstanding results! On my very first throw with it, I thought it was going to crash and burn to the left (RHFH) but to my surprise, the Krait ended up where I aimed it. It started by going left pretty far but the fade was awesome and pulled the disc from real trouble to dropping 5' from the basket!

It's a real winner as far as i am concerned.

Really liked this disc for longer shots. I unfortunately sunk it into a water hole recently. Will likely replace it.

175g GStar.  This plastic is highly durable, holds up well in the hot Texas sun, breaks in fast and holds its flight characteristics for a long time.  The disk itself looks and feels very average for a driver, but I feel like this disc is better than average at almost every kind of shot.  It flies super straight, glides well, fights the wind, great for long, narrow fairways, with a reliable, forward penetrating fade.  It resists turning over even when overpowered so I do not recommend it as a backhand turnover disc.   However, with a strong forehand flick, it can be used for long, gentle turn over shots.   This is basically the most useful driver in my bag.  It always goes where I want it.  If you are working your way up in speed and think you are ready for an 11 speed disc, buy this one first.  Especially if you like to throw forehand and need a controllable driver that won't flip on you.  If I had to own only one driver, this would be it.

Love this disc. My longest throw ever was with a Gstar Krait. Very straight with a good amount of glide and a predictable fade at the end. Truly a point and shoot driver. The rim height on this disc makes it very easy to grip and rip without being prone to griplock. Great disc.

This is the first disc I bought in the GStar plastic.  It is very awesome! I can get decent distance with it.  This is the disc I can get my distance that I Need with it, but not over drive the basket.
