The Millennium JLS is a great stable driver that helped revolutionize the future of distance driver technology. This was the best-selling disc golf driver at the beginning of the century. The “LS” stands for long straight, and while this disc both turns and fades, it is a very consistent disc that regularly lands where you are trying to throw it.

This is my favorite disc. I originally found it because it looks very cool. It was really the disc I was looking for: a somewhat understable/stable fairway driver disc. After reseraching and comparing this to my TL3 and the Innova Roadrunner and Latitude River, I chose this one.

This flies incredibly well. I can throw this as far as any of my distance drivers without fail. I have had two (168 gram and 172 gram). Personally, I preferred the 172g as it flew very true to its ratings and its flight path. I tend to throw this with a very slight hyzer line and it flips up and flies in a slightly understable path before fading back to a straight line. This is able to be thrown well in woods or open fields.

This is a very forgiving disc and will always be my go to driver in my bag.

I bought my 2 JLS discs from Circle R back in 2000. I had a tye dye and a yellow in mid 160g range. Both of these were my staple forehand drivers for many years. Lost them both this year due to breakage.  Sad when the yellow landed after a great flight and split down the middle. Anyway, the JLS has always been presented as a stable straight flight disc. Beginner friendly and an easy thrower. I believe these share a relationship with the Leopard which has a similar structure and flight. The numbers line up with the Leopard 3. I would rate as 7,5, -2,1 or 0 based on a well weathered JLS although despite years of use and years of storage the flight changed very little.

JLS Millineum plastic,  is a great general disc,  you can release it on a consistent line.   Great for narrow path--- tree heavy courses,  easy to place open 300 ft. shots.  can seriously bomb in a strong downwind.  not for power or head winds like Texas or OK.   my only problem with this disc is that I cannot find stacks of easy to find colors in the weights I like. buy these in light weights for beginners and they will keep coming back to the course.    Hit my last ace with a JLS,   this disc if thrown with a hyzer to flat line run, is like a laser.

Call me old school, but I really love this disc. After all these years, it has never left my bag. There are other discs out there that are similar, like the Lat64 River or Westside Stag. This disc has less glide than those, but that's what makes it more controllable. I also think the newer molds are slightly more stable. I feel that the turn and fade is more like a -1/+1, but I don't throw with a lot of power. I am more about technique and accuracy. I feel like this disc is very reliable and gives me those super straight shots that are a little too far for a midrange. I can still throw it even in 15mph winds, where as the Stag would be too flippy. The Standard plastic has great feel and holds up well for a softer plastic. I think it's a great beginner to intermediate disc. Although advanced players could still find it very useful.

This is a fantastic disc. For those who do not like to buy a disc out of the big name brands, this is an exception. I don't mind buying discs from smaller brands, and read reviews and ratings and decided to try it out. I loved it! It is arrow-straight and will hold any kind of line. It is my go-to disc for shorter drives, or drives that I am okay with sacrificing max distance for a dead straight flight. For any intermediate player who needs a straight fairway driver, this is it. For beginners, this is an easy-to-throw disc that can be used in all kinds of circumstances. It will last a long time, and (at least for me) you will not grow out of it fast.

Doesn't take long to fall in love with this disc. It's straight with minimal effort in tight, wooded fairways and longer shots have a nice S curve. I got this to replace a lost, and well-loved, Thunderbird. Couldn't be happier. The JLS is not leaving my bag any time soon.

The JLS is a very nice driver, it's got some turn, some fade and the ability to be a good next step for newer players looking to step up from a Leopard or Teebird.

The Standard plastic is like good Pro or a slightly less durable Star, scuffs and nicks will happen but it doesn't loose it's stbility too quickly.

Also very nice for getting those good S curve shots or learning a hyzerflip.

JLS lovers out there, let’s here from you!  Seriously, what’s not to love?  Yeah, it’s an older mold, but it will never go OOP.  It’s too good to shelve.  I’ve tried to replace it.  I’ve thrown a dizzying array of different fairway drivers in the speed 7-8 range:  Leopards, Teebirds, Inspires, Switches.  The JLS keeps working it’s way back into the straight-to-understable slot.  It’s great for dead-straight shots.  Give it more torque and it will go right (RHBH) without flipping over.  Come over on it hard and you’ve got a perfect roller.  I recently discovered it’s great for tomahawks (not thumbers) released at about one o’clock.  On a tommy, I can get it to arc out to the right, then plop down next to the basket.  Great disc in 1999 when it was first introduced, still great today!

The original gangsta of disc golf drivers, and probably still the best beginner distance driver. Just a great mold and excellent feel. It was my first driver, and for several years I played exclusively with the JLS and a Lightning Rubber putter. The disc is so versatile that it can be bombed a decent distance, and it's exceptionally straight for people with moderate arms.   It's an excellent shot shaper and will really keep a line. Fade is very minor and won't scrub distance. I've graduated from those two discs to a modest 20 in my bag. I throw bigger drivers but the JLS still has a home as an approach disc and for tight spots. For introducing a friend to the game, drivers don't get much better than the JLS. It's helped bring the sport to where it is today. Much respect to the legendary JLS!

I throw slightly greater than 400 ft regularly. So, JLS is my turnover driver. When new, it will go super straight to a little turn on right and stable out at the end. The standard plastic beats-in fairly quickly and the beauty emerges out of this disc. I normally use this disc for dog leg right holes which have at least 15ft wide fairway. I would launch it flat to slight hyzer line, let it fly about 15 feet above the ground and this thing finishes always right. If I throw too much wide or high it will turn (-2) but fade back to the left. I sometime use this disc for those tight fairways when it is fairly new or I will use less power for a medium beat-in disc. I can throw this disc about 375-380 ft.

I gave this a 4 of 5. I'd give it a 4.4 out of 5 if I could haha. Can definitely throw this disc very straight. Also turned out to be a GREAT roller for me. I have a 172 in standard plastic which I must say is much better than the base plastic by other companies. This is definitely stable/understable with a slow fade at the end. Overall I'd say it's pretty solid. Can't forehand it tho, not me at least.

Greatest disc ever made. I can trust this disc than any other disc in the market. I haven't used Latitude 64 River in gold line yet but I can confidently say this disc will beat any disc of its line (i.e., numbers). you can get great turn over shots for pins as short as 150 ft to as long as 350 feet. Standard plastics is very durable and firm and can last for many months.

JLS millennium is the disc that give me my first ever ACE. This is an extremely durable and stable disc. I use this disc as a fairway driver in any kind of upshot or downhill shot. I compare this disc with Innova Leopard, but I trust JLS for greater distance and stability than Leopard. This will be in my bag for ever.

Millennium has very nice feeling plastic for starters, great grip and also very durable. The JLS was my go to driver for a long time and was only replaced when I discovered the Latitude 64 River and that became my fairway disc of choice. The JLS is a nice stable driver, able to be used for several different shots. I would recommend this disc to newer players, and also someone looking for a single disc to fill multiple slots.
