Big fan of the Amp, when they are back in stock I highly recommend. Very straight, lower speed driver that will be great as a primary driver for a beginner, and will continue to provide value as a fairway driver or control driver for tight situations for the intermediate player.

When thrown flat this disc will fly straight for a couple hundred feet before it fades. As my arm speeds gets faster I'm hoping to push this disc to the 300' range before getting a fade. This is a disc I'll throw down a tunnel or in an open field where the basket is right in front of me. The next step for me and this disc is testing how it holds an anhyzer or flex line.

I came across some unfortunate news though, the Amp is being discontinued this year.

This was the first overmold disc I got when I started playing. At first I didn't have the arm speed to get a consistent flight, but now it has become a go-to disc, especially in the woods. I can shape smooth turnovers, hyzer flips to flat, and some s-curves out passed 350ft while maintaining the control of an 8 speed. Plasma plastic is grippy in all seasons and beats in slowly. I'd recommend this to any golfers looking for a controllable straight-understable fairway.

Overall solid disc. Plays a little more overstable for me than the numbers suggest, but may just need seasoned a little. Still new, it flies a lot like my beat in teebird with a bit more speed. It does perform exceptionally well as a forehand disc.

For me, this disc was a great introduction as a beginner to the world of slightly higher speed discs. It isn't too understable, but also doesn't fade out too hard at the end. Throwing backhand on either a slight hyzer or flat you could definitely reach 250-300' consistently with average arm speed. I really think that anyone looking for a disc in between a midrange and a high speed driver should give the Amp a try.

Great glide, very straight. I get some turn if I rip it but I use it more for straight, low shots that I can control it with the gide dead straight. With the minimal fade it also does well to hold anhyzer lines.

Stable in the true meaning of the word, you can RIP this thing flat and it will go straight forever. Throw it on a hyzer barely any flip up, will hold the line, you can throw huge anhyzer shots that just start to flex out a little at the end. Perfect for shot shaping.

I pair a neutron and plasma, plasma is slightly more  overstable for my straight fairways, I use a axiom wrath for my more overstable windy shots, and a Prodigy F5 in 400G plastic for my turnover and undersunderstable able shots.

That's it for my fairway stuff. But the amp is my favorite disc in my bag. Simply for the dominating control I get from it, from 250-400ft. Anything more than 80% power for me it starts to get away ever so slightly and I cant land it in the 10ft circle I am among for

This disc in plasma plastic files  exactly like it says.  I think it has a bit more glide than the numbers suggest though.   Great for tunnels,  flies mostly straight after a little turn.   I have overshot a few holes with it at the beginning of using it but now i know how far it goes.   Lol. It will just keep going. It will land exactly where you originally aimed it.

The Amp is a very controllable fairway driver from MVP. With a little hyzer on release it goes straight with slight fade at the end. Flies in the wind well and flies well when thrown forehand. If there was a comparison I would compare to a TeeBird3. Great disc for Rec through slower arm Pros. It's in my bag for sure!

Big fan of the AMP for control lines especially for newer arms.  Very dependable and predictable. Fits very comfortable in the hand.

So this disc is probably my second favorite behind the Volt. Fantastic understable fairway driver. Dead straight on a lower power throw and very understable with higher power. This is the perfect disc for tunnel shots in my opinion. Nice small rim, perfect for anyone looking to improve their form.

this is one of my go to short range discs. this disc can do what my putters cant do in tight spots. This is a stable/understable disc, its good for shot shaping you put it on a hyzer with low power you got a good hyzer, you can torque it on a hyzer and get it to flip up and put a little turn on it, throw it flat and it will turn and hold that line put it on an anhyzer line and you get a good roller, there have been a few times where i have almost got an ace with this disc. overall its good for learning how to shape your shots because it stands on more of a neutral stance than stable but still a good disc. the plasma plastic is my favorite plastic that mvp has.

I'm convinced the disc I got is a shock with the amp stamp on it.  Flight numbers couldn't be more wrong. It's more stable than the max weight volt that I throw.  Definitely not the understable fairway driver I was looking for.
