This disc is a perfect shot shaping tool! It is understable, but not in a way that many discs I've thrown are. Rather than turning over and burning to the ground, the Inertia seems to just slide to the right on a RHBH throw. I usually pick a target 150' in front of me that I want to land behind and throw at it. The Inertia does the work and turns right around it with a slight left finish for a perfectly straight throw. Beginners will find this disc useful because of the understability and should make a great distance driver for them.

I picked up an Inertia recently because I had lost my Champion Valkyrie that I used for most of my forehand throws. I have thrown other MVP discs before (Octane, Volt) and absolutely loved them, so I figured I would give the Inertia a shot. This disc flies very much like my Valkyrie did. I can flick it out there on a touch of hyzer, and it will flip up and fly for a good 330 feet with good accuracy. I haven’t thrown it much backhand, but it seems like a good turnover disc or even a roller if you need one. What I think this disc is best at is the sidearm hyzer-flip shots. I couldn’t play any course without this disc, and if I lose it or it becomes too understable even for forehand hyzer-flips I will almost certainly pick up another one.

I went swimming in a river to find a disc I shanked with a sidearm throw and pulled out 13 others at the same time. One of them was a plasma 171g Inertia, a disc I've wanted to try for a while.

This disc reminds me a lot of the Axiom Insanity however I feel like the Inertia is a bit more reliable as far as the turn and fade goes. Insanities are great discs but if you have a good snap they can turn more than you expect and don't always make it back to the throwing line. The inertia also can turn but it seems to do it in a more controlled way.

As others have said, it will turn and fade without much effort to end up straight down the throwing line.

A low snap throw with a tiny bit of anny gives you one of those low ceiling rollers, a higher shot thrown flat will flex out and come back, a high nose down anny will hold it the whole time (I can get it out around 350' this way), a high hyzer flip will give you max distance, and a big back hand roller will do what you expect.

I can't use it for forehands so much because I'm not that good at forehand hyzer flips, but that is what it needs or it will never come back - it is NOT a stable disc, but not so understable that it's useless.

Anyway, it's in my bag and I'm probably going to get 174g version sometime soon in Proton plastic to give it more stability.

I think this disc would be a great entry level high speed driver for beginners who are at the point where they can give a disc enough torque so that the overmold style of MVP will do it's thing. Plus if a beginner forces a little bit of anny they can probably get max distance quite easily with this disc.

Like I said before, it feels like a more controllable Axiom Insanity which was my first higher speed driver back when I was just learning to throw with good technique.

Great utility disc, keep it on my bag for long anhizer shots or standstill forehands that need distance. Holds lines but some fade to prevent unwanted throllers.

I ordered it at 168g in Plasma plastic and even though I've read that Plasma is usually more domey than the other plastics, this one doesn't have much of a dome. This has become my go to disc for all types of shots - backhand, forehand, thumbers, rollers, turnovers, you name it. It's got a predictable and dependable high speed turn and fade for carving out some flex or S lines. Thrown backhand and flat it will turn and fade back where you want it, on forehand it will turn a bit less for me and fade but not just dump on me. Forehand flex shots are great with this disc. I don't have the technique down for backhand rollers, but this is my go-to disc for forehand rollers as long as I don't stand it up too early.

I bought a Plasma Inertia because I wanted something similar to an Innova Krait. This disc immediately became my main driver. Incredibly easy to get distance with, and with the even turn and fade it almost always lands dead straight from where you threw it. I've recommended this disc to friends that are looking for more distance and they love theirs too.

I love the plasma plastic! This disc has some speed with a thinner more comfortable rim. I bag two of these, one is well seasoned and works well for long turnover shots, hyzer flips, or long S-shots. My newer less seasoned one is much more stable and performs better in the wind or when I need more fade at the end. I even use it for Hyzer flip flick shots. The Inertia is an easy to control driver with great distance potential. I highly recommend this disc for intermediate arm speeds.

I love this disc. A few weeks ago I picked up an inertia and a tesla. The tesla is a little bit to over stable for my arm speed but still a great disc very consistent so far. But the inertia is awesome. With a smooth, flat throw it will flip slightly and ride that line with a nice fade back to about center for an easy 350' crank it a bit more and it will flip and ride that line all the way with the slightest left finish. And if I want a little more left at the end I just snap it out with a bit of hyzer and it stands up for the majority of the flight and make a strong left turn at the very end. This is a very work able disc but not overly touchy so far. I have not had much mind to test it in so far but I think because it does want to flip it will not be much of a head wind disc but that is why I got the tesla. Both of these discs are very flat and have a rim that feels nice in my hand. I love the look and feel of the plasma plastic. I threw my first inertia in the lake my second round with it and immedeately ordered another. This disc will be a staple in my bag from now on and I intend to get a few more in different plastics and weights. If you have an average arm and want a controllable go to driver with good distance potential this is a disc to try. Don't let the gyro haters fool you you don't need a ton of snap to get a good flight out of these discs you just need to know how to throws golf disc and it will sail.
