The Nomad is the first disc in the James Conrad line. This putter has a small bead to provide additional longevity. The Nomad has a neutral flight on drives and a stable to overstable flight while putting, making for a go-to putter that can handle power on the drives and spin on the putts.

The James Conrad line is set to feature some of his favorite places to travel and tie in MVP's theme of science. This putt & approach disc was inspired by Park Avenue trailhead in Arches National Park in Moab, Utah.

Not sure it necessarily merits the extra 0.5 on the fade versus just a 1.0, but otherwise its flight numbers seem to be valid; the other possible exception is that the glide could maybe take that extra 0.5: Field testing this with the 2/4/0/1 Xing and 2/4/0/0 Rune, the Nomad's flight was pretty much on par with them except it was consistently going a little farther than either of these others. Maybe it's the "gyro" effect? I got a 10-pack of Xings three years ago and they've been our primary putters since (until very recently as I've been experimenting with several others); with similar performance but better distance on long shots, the Nomad might bump out the Xing. The feel is a little different with the overmold: The plastic of the rim feels quite different from the rest of the disc, and the point where they meet feels more pronounced than it is with other overmolds I have. I like the idea of the recycled R2 plastic, and the glossy black/white rim combo looks pretty good, if a bit plain compared to many flashier discs. I do wonder if it might be tricky to spot if it ends up in shady brush: I've had that problem with another black disc at times, though as a putter this should be a less likely occurance than with the driver.

Bought the Halloween edition as a compliment to my MVP Watt. The Nomad is my new fav disc. I know exactly what it's going to do, it will fly dead straight with a slightly overstable finish. Very comfortable rim and glows in the dark! My new go-to.

I absolutely love the feel of this disc in my hand. I recently got this disc in a mystery box before getting it I only used a challenger to putt with. The nomad has replaced the challenger even though the plastic is a little harder. I don't drive with putters since my arm isn't that big so I have no experience with it off the tee.
