The MVP Octane is a stable-to-understable distance driver from the high-speed 23mm class.  Octane falls in the general stability lineage of Switch, Amp, Inertia, and Wave, with a slight-turn profile that holds long and straight until its fade finish.  The 23mm Octane is designed to be relatively less understable than its 21.5mm counterpart Wave. Average throwers should see straight flights with fade, while power throwers will be able to hyzerflip for max distance and tailwind lines.

The Octane is a stable distance driver manufactured by MVP. I have this disc in the Eclipse plastic, and I love it. This disc bombs. I can put it on a touch of hyzer, and it will flip up and ride for days before consistently finishing left. Electron plastic feels great in the hand, and it doesn’t hurt that the overmold rim glows in the dark. I rip on this for backhands and forehands, and I consistently get more distance out of it than my ESP Nuke. I highly recommend this disc to anyone looking for their new favorite high octane distance driver.

This is my main FH disc. Can give it a slight anny and watch it glide a beautiful"S" turn that ends with a good skip

The Eclipse Octane is a great distance driver for advanced or higher players that are looking for a predictable line that has a slight high speed turn, great glide and minimal fade for those with a relatively high arm speed. It eats up a lot of ground fast and is great for big open shots but performs well in tight fairways as well. Look for the metal flake version, they tend to have more glide.
