The Particle is a putter that was introduced in the 2017 MVP Circuit. This is a microbeaded, flat-top putter that leans towards the overstable side. The Particle is a great putter off the tee or for finding chains at close range. It can handle a lot of torque, which is great for high speed drives off the tee or for confident upshots. On longer putts, the Particle will fade towards the end of flight.

Got one in Neutron Soft as a mystery disc, and liked it even more than the discs I picked out on purpose. Works well for me as an approach disc that's easy to place with a hyzer - a little like a Pig or Zone. The softness of the plastic also feels good in the hand, and gives some good grip.

Got this as a mystery disc at a time when I was looking to change up putters.  It was one of those situations where it just fit my hand.  I recently got a neutron to use as a driver because it works well in that capacity as well.  Just a quality addition to your bag.

I received this as a mystery disc in neutron soft plastic with the cool blitzkrieg stamp. At first I thought that maybe I should putt with it. I find that it is very accurate and I would almost use it as my C2 putter if my main putter were a similar mold. The reason that this didn't become my putting putter is that it seems like this plastic/disc likes to slip right through the chains at close range (within 20ft).

As a throwing putter this thing is phenomenal. I flicked it in the basket on an 80ft approach shot the 2nd round that I played with it so that earned it a spot in the bag.  For me it has just the slightest bit of turn when I crank on it but finishes with more fade than turn. Backhand, I like to put a baby hyzerflip angle on it for laser tunnel shots with a tiny bit of fade or hang it out on big hyzer approach shots and FH I use it for just outside C2. When there is a ceiling impeding the approach, I like this better than my Harp because its glide will carry it to the basket when thrown low.

I also use it off the tee for any holes that are under 200ft and most of the holes in the 200-220ft range This disc has landed me several park jobs were a mid would have skipped past the circle and there is a hole on one of my local courses that is just begging this disc for an ace.

The one downside of the disc is that it seems like MVP discontinued this mold, so if you think you might like it or already know that you do you should probably just buy 2 now while you can.

I have the Particle in both Neutron and Soft Neutron plastic.  I've heard others stating that in general Soft Neutron is more overstable that Neutron.  I have both the Proxy and Particle in Soft Neutron and Neutron and the stability is about the same to me.  When comparing the two the main difference in the feel.  The Soft Neutron core has a GStar like feel.  The core is soft and grippy but the gyro rim keeps the disc from having a floppy feel to it.  I also feel like tree hits to shoot quite as far off target as their standard Neutron counterpart.

The Particle is similar to the Envy like the Atom is similar to the Proxy.  All 4 discs are low profile and have a similar feel to them.  The Particle is a very straight flier with dependable fade.  If you've thrown the Envy it's very similar to the Envy but with maybe a slightly more aggressive fade at the end of the flight.  I love the Soft Neutron plastic and this is a great disc.  I don't know if it's a comfort thing or if it's just me, but I get a slight more distance out of the Atom/Particle than I do with the Proxy/Envy.
