The Particle is a putter that was introduced in the 2017 MVP Circuit. This is a microbeaded, flat-top putter that leans towards the overstable side. The Particle is a great putter off the tee or for finding chains at close range. It can handle a lot of torque, which is great for high speed drives off the tee or for confident upshots. On longer putts, the Particle will fade towards the end of flight.

Particle Glow Proton Misprint Details

MVP's Particle Glow Proton plastic is a groundbreaking blend that enhances traditional Proton plastic with embedded glow particles, creating a one-of-a-kind visual effect. Under UV light, the glow particles shine brightly while simultaneously activating the base color of Proton plastic, producing a mesmerizing combination of color-glow and glowing particle effects. Misprint Particle Glow Proton is the same but with cosmetic defects.

Mine isn't a "misprint" or F2. Some perfectly good ones from 2025 Gyropalooza still left over somewheres (so not quite "discontinued").

Mine isn't beat in yet, and I expect it to get a lot straighter with use.

I wanted a more stable Envy, something like a Lasso, but my Plasma Envy's were more stable than this. So for me it was a big disappointment because this one isn't cheap.

The glow takes a bit longer to "charge", some particles lighting up almost minute later than others.

I now use it for short drives to slightly drift around a small tree in the middle and fade back. And it's used in my putter stack too where it gets the most use.

I'm using mainly the sublime Lasso instead, also made by MVP (for Mint), which gives me exactly that 3 3 0 2.5 that I was hoping for from this one. Oddly both discs have an identical-looking profile but the Lasso is way more stable.
