The Prodigy D1 is an overstable, ultra-high-speed driver (speed 13 using the Innova system). Like all very high speed drivers, the D1 has a thick (2.3 cm) rim. While the rim is considered thick, it isn’t maximum PDGA width. The width is the same as discs such as the Innova Krait and Westside King. While the D1 is overstable, it isn’t a “meathook”, or one we would classify as “very overstable.” The D1 is a fantastic driver for power throwers, windy shots, forehand throws, and strategic doglegs.

Let me start by saying this is a great disc and what you would expect. A great lightweight disc that will get you distance when you are a beginner. Prodigy Air is the best lightweight/bubble plastic out there too me. It never gets too flippy like blizzard can be prone to doing. My only critique is that I struggle finding a place for the D1 Air between my D2 Air (which gets me more distance) and my Blizzard Destroyer (which gets me more fade).

This could very well be the greatest ever disc golf driver mold ever produced! And here we have only one review. It is totally over-looked. At only 150 grams, this disc does no wrong. But I'm only talking in the "Air" version. Sails out there past every other disc, does not get handled by the wind, rip and anhyzer it and it will slowly turn back, hyzer bomb it super far to drop at a commanding 45 degrees. No matter your strength, this disc is complete magic! And the plastic is tough.

Caution: if you throw one, you may regret all your other drivers. Go get one.

Great Disc, right out of the bag it will start to turn for the more seasoned players but is light enough for the slower arm speeds to be as stable as needed.

I really took to this sport earlier this year-- played once or twice in '15, after playing as much as possible in '14-- I relearned the game this year and committed to 100% backhand, this disc was crucial in my beginnings. Still in my bag to this day for those rounds where I need a good controlled driver and some extra distance.

I won't take it out unless I am forced to-- this disc is stable enough to hold a 360 drive line and flex out for a major bomb-- my furtherst throw recorded was nearly 500 feet with this bad boy-- the down hill helped :) Nevertheless, I have beaten mine in and it still has that last minute 'hook' to it.

    Great Disc.
