What a disc! This thing acts like an overstable fairway... let me explain, overstable fairways are always a staple in the bag but this one is different... it hyzer-flips up and then acts like a normal overstable fairway but the hyzer-flip gives it that extra distance. when thrown flat it makes tight s lines. Overall great disc.

Disappointed in every sense. I had bought this disc out of necessity (lost a Getaway during a tournament and needed a replacement at the lunch break), and the afternoon round of my tournament was the only round I ever used this disc in.

For one, even though it faded like it should (a bit less than a Firebird/Felon), the disc had no turn whatsoever, even though it advertises a -0.5 turn. I bag three Muskets, so I know -0.5 turn when I see it, and this didn't have it.

On top of that, it suffered from the flashing issue that plagues Prodigy discs in general. This disc emphasizes that issue with the already-sharp bottom rim making forehands downright painful to throw. After my first throw with it, I had to rub it on the ground to try and smooth out the rim (which may or may not be legal in PDGA-sanctioned play, but no one on my card called it and I shouldn't have to do that in the first place.)

There are much better options than the FX-2 for this type of disc. The Getaway, Longbowman, Honor, FD3, and Stal are all superior options from superior brands.

I bought this disc out of a used bin because I was shopping for discs in the upper fairway driver range and I LOVED the swirly seafoam colors in the plastic. It only took one throw for me to discover why a brand new disc (9/10) was in the used bin - the inner rim is like a knife that slices across your hand on release, whether thrown backhand or forehand. The outer rim is also painfully sharp, so there's no safe way to contact the disc when throwing. I was only able to throw it about 10 times before I gave up and hung it on the wall instead. I've thrown other discs with a sharp line on the rim before, due to shape, molding, or both, but nothing comes close to how painful this disc is. If I cared enough I could spend a lot of time trying to sand down the rim, but A) that changes the flight, B) ruins any resale value left, and C) I shouldn't have to!

Love this disc. In my mind, this is the perfect forehand flex disc; you don't have to apply too much angle, and you can always trust it to come back. I have one in both 400 and 500, with the 500 being more overstable. No matter the plastic, there's not an ounce of turn, so don't listen to the flight ratings.

I disagree with the feel of the disc, I have no problem with it. I have had discs, such as the Orc and Starfire, that have cut my hand but no such problem with the FX-2.

Got this to compliment my oddly not very overstable raptor. feels great, the plastic is unique and quite flexible. Still getting used to it but enjoying it so far.
