I am still learning the FX-2 as it a recent addition to my bag, and only the second Prodigy disc I've tried after my beloved P Model S.

The hand feel of the FX-2 was awesome out of the box. I've heard Prodigy discs have been somewhat notorious for having flashing issues, but my 750 FX-2 was flashing free and felt great in the hand. It is a fairly shallow and angular disc, but it fits my grip nicely. The matte texture of the bottom compared to the usual glossy top is definitely interesting. I don't think it's necessarily game changing nor is it something that would be detrimental to anyones grip, I'll be interested to see if my impression changes over time.

It's flight is reminiscent of an overstable Thunderbird/FD3/Firebird. It's got a straight, penetrating flight with a nice dumpy predictable  fade. It has a bit more glide than I expected, but probably is true to its numbers. I like to keep my bag simple with minimal molds in differing stages of wear, and do believe the FX-2 could possibly fill the spot of both the Thunderbird and Firebird with some practice and wear. I think Prodigy has a good entry to the OS fairway competition with FX-2.

Wasn't a very big fan of the shallow curled lip at first but you get used to it and found myself preferring it. The dual texture really doesn't really come into play until you play in wet conditions.

Unlike my firebird, I can really rip on this thing forehand without it turning over and dying
