    Fire Details

Viking Fire plastic is a version of the very durable Storm blend, but with the addition of a built-in LED light so that the disc can be used at night. This durable plastic will maintain the same disc flight for a long time, even after playing heavily wooded courses. It is a clear, transparent plastic that allows the light to shine through so that the disc can be easily located in the dark.

The light can be set to blink quickly, or more slowly and is turned on and off with the simple touch of the center of the disc.

NOTE: The addition of an LED light in the disc results in a heavier disc. The weights are listed on our website, but keep in mind that the weights might exceed PDGA approval thresholds and are thus intended for recreational play.

I got the Fire line Barbarian to be a good disc to pair with my glow discs for night golf. The plastic is the same as the Storm plastic which feels a lot like a typical champ/z/opto type blend. Still has the slight zippertop of a new mold as well.

The feel is very good, a lot like a Teebird or Stag in hand except that it as a very blunt rounded outer edge which feels a bit odd to me. Didn't stop me from getting a good grip and it flying very good for me.

It flies a lot like the more beat in Star Teebirds I've had, just a hint of turn and a very mild fade, overall very useful for many players and could easily be thrown my anyone who can reach 300. Even lower powered players than that could use it in certain spots I think.

I've been getting good golf lines out to 375 with it, no issue and only have had unpredictable flight if fairly stout winds.

The only let down is the light. The housing is durable and has not come undone, but it's kind of hard to keep the light on. It just wants to be down if your holding the button. When it finally dies, I'll probably get a better light to put in it.
