    Tournament Recycled Muovi Details

Westside Tournament Muovi R (Recycled Plastic) is the equivalent of Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64 Recyled plastic. This plastic feels very similar to traditional Tournament, but being that it's made from recycled materials, is not quite as durable.

Tournament Recycled plastic is a one time limited release. The discs we have were overruns from those produced for stores in Europe.

This may be my favorite mid to throw. I can't use it on every shot, and definitely don't pull it out in any wind, but for turnovers or when I want a wooded hyzer-flip this disc is perfect. It feels similar to a Truth just with a higher shoulder; not as flat feeling, but it isn't domey. Flies similar to a Meteor, but as I've said in other reviews hand feel is so important for my mid and putter game, and the Tursas wins. It is reliably understable, and turns very slowly. Unless I'm going for a low line, I do not worry about the Tursas rolling, and for low lines I'm reaching for other discs.

Having used this in a few wooded courses for a couple werks, the recycled plastic has noticeable deformation due to trees, similar to what I've seen in pro plastic mids. I haven't had too many point blank tree hits, so if this worries you I would get the VIP plastic instead. I don't mind the deformation and magic that results from it.

The Tursas is the understable mid that should be the gold standard that the rest are compared to. This disc combines the best aspects of the Stingray and Comet and is made in some of the best plastic made.

To recreate the flight diagram from Inbounds you must throw it flat, with some height, nose down, and hard. Change any one of these and you create a different flight. This is absolutely the easiest to throw course carving mid I have ever thrown. It does great right turns, hyzer flips to dead straight. A little less hyzer and it goes straight, then gently drifts right all the way to the  ground. A little more hyzer and height and you have the understable flex, one of the hardest shots to pull off consistantly. This disc can do almost everything except handling a headwind. (That's what the Bard and Anvil are for.)

It glides forever and has sneaky fast speed and distance, verging into fairway driver territory, much like the similar but more stable Warship. It is used by many for rollers, but I prefer smaller diameter discs for that.

In short: Buy a Tursas. Throw it.It will earn a spot in your bag, unless you throw everything at max power. If you do throw everything at max power, learn to back off, then buy a Tursas.

This disc is a wonderful disc for its understability. The Tursas has a great grip to it, it feels wonderful in the hand; the rim isn't deep, there is a good spot to put your finger on the rim (if you like that), and the recycled plastic has a good grip to it.

The stability of the Tursas is very understable. Which is exactly what makes this a great disc for shaping a throw. It holds any anhyzer line that I put it on, and it holds it quite easily. Most of the time it doesn't come out of the anhyzer line.

The Tursas can get some pretty good distance with it, all with an anhyzer lines. As a beginner the tursas can get some pretty good distance, its actually a great disc for a beginner learning how to play.

I mainly use this disc for its understability. I am able to place this disc where I want with good control. Overall the Tursas is a wonderful disc. It is great for the understability, its shapeability.
