The PD2 is a power driver in the Discmania disc line. It is abnormally fast for the stability it offers. Targeted for the strong-armed touring pro, this disc is very reliable with a backhand, forehand and overhead throws in pretty much any condition.

If I had one word to describe this disc, BEEFCAKE for regular human beings not named simon lizotte or eagle mcmahon. This disc is stupidly overstable and not beginner friendly at all! It holds signatures well though but that's about it!

First max weight disc I threw past 500 feet. Nuf said. That saying, it really isn't like an x-caliber, like the description says. It has way more glide, because of the dome that every one I've seen has. Because of that it is the perfect flex shot disc. It comes out of any flex, but isn't really all that overstable. It does have a 4 fade, but it's a sneaky 4 fade.

This is my most reliable driver when playing in the wind. It will hold the line you throw it on. That being said my arm is too weak to get the distance out of the backhand shots that I want. However it is my go to when I need a really long flex out of a forehand shot.

I am fairly unskilled in my forehand game and this is the fastest disc I can get good results with.

I just got one of these out of the Discmania mystery boxes and it is super overstable for me.  The disc feels heavy and has some dome to it.  The PD2 is a wind disc for sure and it you need something to hook left, you can use this.  The PD2 has a ton of glide and will skip if it lands flat.  I am going to work my arm speed up until I can use the PD 2 more.  I would recommend this disc for advanced players.

One of my favorite discs to throw. A bit too stable for me on RHBH throws for a full flex line, but still can get it ~300ft. My go to disc for any long forehand shot. Great disc for spike hyzers. New to discmania discs, but definitely will be coming back.

The S-line PD2 is a over stable monster. I don't have a terribly strong arm and this disc can be very hard to throw at times. I mostly enjoy this disc for over stable forehand shots and forehand rollers. This is a disc that the top pros use to get top distance and if you are someone who cant bomb a disc 500+ feet than all you will get is some serious fade on this disc. If your someone who doesn't have the strongest of arms and still wants a good over stable disc than get the C-line Blizzard version of this disc. I have one that I use for long dead straight fore hand shots and over stable backhand shots. My blizzard is at 155g and it is still very over stable. Overall I recommend this disc who is looking for a meat hook or someone who can just crush drives. I love both of mine and I would recommend them to anyone who is an advanced player and up.

175g S Line. Pretty Simple disc. Super overstable. Not as overstable as a Stiletto and Warhorse but more overstable then a Defender, Enforcer, Destroyer, D1, Force or World. Mine has good dome and still stupid os.

the pd2 is not for beginners or anyone with slow arm speed. for most people its an overstable disk for hyzers and headwind shots. for big arms its predictable distance driver. i have an average arm and use this for shots that i need a hard fade for. i catch myself grabbing for something else though because i am still getting use to the very wide rim.

The PD2 is the go to driver for most pros and big arms that throw Discmania discs. It is overstable fresh and will be a meathook unless you have some power. This is not a disc I will bag, as it is a bit too much for me, but it does what it is supposed to do. The variety of plastic options can offer some different stabilities in flight, this can be a nice thing if you are looking for one distance driver for the bag. Overall, the PD2 is a great disc for big arms.

How it feels in the hand - I'd say I'd rate it 5 stars.  I got rather large hands and it honestly feels like a larger rimmed FD.  The star plastic was on the gummier side which is the stuff I like the most.  The rim edge wasn't sharp, and the top portion had a nice comfy dome on it like a slightly less domey Wraith.

The flight pattern was exactly how it looks brand new out of the box.  4.5 Stars from me.  If you threw it flat, hard, and clean, you could see it turn a tiny amount as it cut through the air riding straight, fast, and stable. The flight numbers are accurate for Star Plastic.

I was able to get this guy out about 400 feet. It definitely has 4 Fade and 4 Glide.

I've thrown both the C Line and the S Line PD2s.  They both fly very overstable.  The S Line PD2s that I've thrown were both max weight at 175G.  One was pink and it had a very high dome and the S line plastic was very stiff.  The other one was a white one with a flat top and the S line plastic was much softer. The pink one was a hog.  Borderline useless for me.  Rip it flat and it wants to hyzer out. Rip it hard on anyhyzer and it flattens out and hyzers out.  I couldn't put this disc past 250' even if I wanted to.  The white S line was a totally different animal.  Throw this one flat and it would hold flat for most of its flight and then hyzer out hard.  This disc was great for those windy round but also shots where I needed distance but no chance of the disc turning to the right.  Both of the C lines were 171G and they were from the run with the bubbles in the rim.  These are great PD2s.  They fly just like the flight path describes.  These were also my go to for thumbers.  I actually like the C Line PD2 more for thumbers than my flat top firebirds.  Overall the PD2 is a great overstable distance driver.  I feel like they vary as much as destroyers do between runs and that's why I give it a 4 out of 5.

PD2s are a great disc as long as you're willing to put up with the inconsistentcy within the mold.  I have a FaF S-Line that is the most stable disc I've ever thrown and another domey PD2 that I use for my max distance driver.  They vary more than destroyers which is saying something.  If you're willing to buy a few and put up with the inconsistentcy they can go farther than a destroyer with more control.

The PD2 is most likely Discmania's equivalent to Innova's XCaliber. They look and fly very similarly. No high speed turn and a good headwind fighter. The glide is average at best and the PD2 probably isn't going to shock you with long, booming flights.

Not for beginners at all. The PD2 is a pretty overstable driver for experienced players and big arms. The best use for this disc is obviously windy conditions.

I love this disc. Throw it as hard as possible flat and it will go far before crashing hard! Fantastic for FH and Skip shots as well. Once S-line beats in some this disc just absolutely crushes. Just a tip, new run blizzard rim S-PD2 in 168g or lower fly less stable, has a -.5 turn and a 3 fade. This makes it significantly less stable and very similar to how a destroyer should fly. I bag 4 of these, so should you!

I hear too many complaints about this disc that its a "meat hook" or "too overstable" and things along those lines...

Meat hook/too overstable - if this disc is a meat hook for you than you probably should have never picked up this to begin with and clearly you never bothered looking at the flight #'s for it. The problem is not the disc...the problem is your arm!!

This disc is very beefy, but its designed to be beefy and it does exactly what the numbers suggest it'll do. Please ignore reviews that complain about this disc being too overstable.

I've always loved discmania, but I was afraid to try the pd2 thinking it would be to much disc. After finally deciding to throw all discmania, I order one, and I love it! I just order one more I love it so much. This disc is no joke, it is very fast and overstable. You can trust this to always fade hard at the end. If you have the arm you can get some turn outta the disc. its got enough glide to carry it way down the fairway too. this is the perfect disc if you have the arm.

S-line 175:  This disc is insane!!!  It is impossible to turn this disc over.  It always finishes left on a rhbh.  Best as a meat hook hyzer angle, but can be great for straight wider fairways if you can get it to flex.  Throw it on an anhyzer angle and watch it come back every time.  It's awesome for forehand flick shots that you need an exaggerated finish.  Great in wind as well.

PD2's are a meathook distance driver that could be your go-to if you're super human. C Lines are absolute beefsticks and players who use them as their everyday driver are not to be trusted. Lolz!!

In all seriousness, if you're looking for a high speed driver that can handle the nastiest of headwinds but still has some glide, this disc is for you. I bag one pop top S Line PD2 as my overstable compliment to my Star Destroyers. It does not get much use, but when it does it fades every single time. There is no way this disc will turn over on you.

With that said, the PD2 is meant for those with 500'+ of power and fast arm speed. It can be used for both backhand and forehand shots with relative ease. Highly recommended!

This is a great disc. It fights the wind everytime and is always reliable to cut back. The PD2 will usually get a large skip at the end for an even longer throw.

I love the PD2. The S-Line PD2 I have is extremely domey; creating a "pop-top." It is very overstable, but also has a decent amount of glide from the dome. It can handle a pretty solid headwind, and can also handle a lot of power. I would definitely suggest this disc for anyone with a powerful forehand.
