The MVP Anode is my main putting putter of choice (on occasion I will drive with it). There is something about the Anode that fits my hand well. And the under-rim curve at the plate makes no matter to me as neither my putting grip nor my driving fan grip comes into contact with the curve. Many other putters fit well in the hand, such as the Ion, Myth, Reko, and Pixel; however, the Anode has that tick better feel and I've kept coming back to the Anode as my mainstay putting putter. The big lesson here is to keep trying putters and see which one keeps coming back in the hand, then go with it.

Last year I putted with Electron Firm throughout the warm/hot summer months, but once it became cold in fall and winter, I switched to Electron Soft plastic which firms up with colder temperatures and feels much like my Firm during summer. I purchased a pair of these Softs for winter and I'm so glad I did; the Firms were rock hard in cold temps. As we get back into warmer temps, I plan to switch back to Firm. I might play around with standard Electron (medium) for the intermediate temps between seasons. All in all, these putters are consistent between each other; I have several Firm putters and now a pair of these Soft putters, essentially all the same weight (~170-3 range), and they all give the same results. If I want more stability because of wind or driving, then I can add the Ion which is essentially the same as an Anode, just with a bead and perhaps a little more depth.

I haven't thrown the anode very much because I'm really not a fan of how it feels. I got it in my gyropalooza pack and I was excited to try it, but it is a very deep putter that I haven't been able to be comfortable or confident with.

I do have to say the electron soft plastic feels absolutely amazing. The flight plate isn't super soft; it still has some firmness when you hold it.

Overall I wouldn't recommend the anode to anyone who isn't a fan of deep putters, but if deep putters are your thing this feels pretty good.

This disc is extremely useful as a putter and an approach disc. If you put it on a hyzer, it holds, anhyzer, same. If you throw it straight, it goes straight. At the core of disc golf, the goal is to have a disc that will go where you put it, and this disc absolutely does that. It doesn't have a ton of glide like a wizard or other favorite putters, but that is ok because this disc actually does better than the wizard in the wind. This is a very safe pick for a putter. It won't blow by baskets and leave you long come backers unless you did that to yourself. It is a very fair point and shoot disc that will be where you put it every time.

This was my very first MVP disc and everything about it got me hooked on this brand forever. Absolutely dead-straight putter that is excellent at grabbing chains. Has great glide and when thrown hard it is definitely understable. Would definitely recommend this as a first putter!
