    175g Neutron MVP Anode

This feels a lot like the Innova Nova, and I love my Nova. I think I still prefer the Nova for as a shorter straight shooter, but this seems to be a little bit easier to get distance out of for further putts. Both are exceptional putters.

I purchased this disc to have a stable approach disc in place of using my pig.  The pig was too overstable for my liking and this disc has enough stability with the higher glide I was looking for.  It is a deeper disc so it may not be good for people with smaller hands.

A very satisfying putter. Always feels smooth leaving the hand whether putting or approaching.

Ever since Brodie Smith showed up the scoober, this is my scoober disc! Ultimately, your choice of putter is basically a personal thing, more dependent on your hand and your putting style than anything else.  I've used Aviars and Rhinos and XT Novas and Vibram Soles and, most recently, Swans as putters.  But it only took one putt with the Plasma Anode to know it was for me.  It just felt right in my hand.  I like the thin, responsive flight plate, the deep rim, the mild dome, and the way it spins out of my hand on the release. The only bad thing I can think to say about the Anode is that the flashing on the leading edge of the disc is noticeable.  Doesn't bother me but might bother some people.  Anyway, give the Anode a try if my description sounds nice.  You probably won't like it as much as I do, but you might!

This is a nice putter.  It drives really nice and you can make some really nice putts with it. I would give this disc 5 stars because it does fly great but the plastic is strange to me.  Its very firm and has more of a toy frisby feel.  Also when you miss and it takes a bad bounce it likes to roll away a lot as it has a very rounded edge, its borderline a wheel.  for those of you who like this plastic and play on flatter courses more frequently great disc.  I can make some really long putts with this disc with little effort.

This is the straightest putter I've ever used. I absolutely love this thing. I would cry if I lost it. My only complaint is that the Neutron plastic is very slick when wet.

I have used this both as a putting putter and as a thrower. It certainly was never used as a driving putter but more of an upshot. For the most part (with some exceptions), which putter you use is a lot of preference and comfort. It was a little on the tall side for me but definitely not as bad as something like the dagger. If you like short or thin putters, this probably won't do it for you, but if you like medium or tall putters, this could work well. As an upshot putter, it will hold whatever line you put on it.

I first was introduced to the Anode when I was beginning to look for new putters on Infinite to replace my first set.  I was drawn to the Anode for the 0 turn and fade.  However, I had heard that one of the best ways to find a putter was to get ahold of one and see how it fits in the hand.  Understandbly most of my local retailers carried predominantly Innova (if anything at all) and thus had very few opportunites to try any MVP discs.

However, I got lucky visting a sports retailer while on Vacation.  Sitting there was a used MVP Neutron Anode.  I picked that one up quite quickly and began working it out.  The Anode is definitely true to its numbers.  My other putters have been KC Pro Aviars and Magnets; the Anode is definitely straighter.  The grip of the disc may take some getting used to, but it is certainly not the most unique feel for a putter.  I use this predominantly for short putts, I have found that the Anode can turn a bit if you lean into it on a drive.

The Anode is staying in my bag, and I am already considering a new one at a higher weight and perhaps an upgrade of plastic as well.  Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a basic straight putter!

I was very excited about the release of the Neutron Anode. Back then I was putting with a Proton Anode.

The Neutron Anode became my go-to putter immediately. I loved the black one that I had for a very long time. The Neutron plastic felt better in my hand than the Proton Plastic.

Just like the Proton Anode, I prefer it off the tee than I do in the circle. The Anode does not offer enough glide for me to want to use it as a putting putter. With that lack of glide, it performs predictably in the wind.

To complete my "MVP bag", I acquired a 172g neutron Anode.  And candor compels me to admit that my reaction upon working it out on the course is "meh", so sorry.  Don't get me wrong:  it's a decent putter and it looks good.  But unlike the MVP Axis and Amp, this disc did not overwhelm me with a desire to get it into my "core" bag.

Admittedly, most putters inside the 10m circle are of good quality and it's mostly a matter of personal feel and (of course) confidence in throwing as one gets to know one's putter.  So I am sure that there will be people out there who love the Anode above all other putters.  But for me, the Innova Nova is still my go-to putter, and the Avair P&As, both in Star plastic and the limited run McPro plastic, make me feel more confident on the longer approaches.

The Anode is a good disc, and I'm sure if I worked with it I would do fine with it, but it's nothing special and will not replace the other putter(s) in my "core" bag.

This is my go to putter. This disc will hold whatever line you launch it on. Good glide, but not so much you have to worry about sailing past the basket. Also makes a great utility and trouble disc. I have launched several forehand shots from the trees to park it right were I needed to be.

This disc is the best feeling and best flying disc I have ever owned. It holds any line I put it on, and I especially love it for hard to stick hyzer shots when playing in a heavily treed area. I have had lots of comments on my approach shot thanks to this disc, and it is the only putter I will carry in my bag now. I have to have it in neutron plastic or proton eclipse for that time of the night when a glow disc really comes in handy. I urge everyone to go out and buy one of these discs.

I now have 2 Anodes and I love them. I have the Neutron and Soft Proton. The Proton seems a little more overstable, but the Neutron is super straight. I can drive this putters about 240' consistently. The Proton is really grippy, the Neutron is decently grippy. It has replaced my Wizards and Aviars. Now I just need to get more of them.

The MVP Anode is another great disc from MVP Discs. I had a black one ( my buddy threw it on a roof) in the neutron plastcic, 175g. The feel of this disc is the same as all the other MVP disc. I found it not to be to grippy or to buttery even though it has a shiney and slick look to it. The Anode flies really straight and has minimal fade at the end, which makes it really good for those approach shots. When putting with this disc it holds the line very well and itsnt affected to much by the wind. I put with a bit of hyzer and it still held the line and would almost always find the chains. I highly recommend this disc to anyone looking to add a well-rounded putt and approach disc to there bag.
