The sheild is my go to putter, and what I love about the MVP Anode is that is Is literally the same disc but gyro. And i have fallen in love with mvp putters, and needed a sheild like disc. This thing holds basically what ever line you put it on. Alittle more fade then advertised but so is the sheild. Can get enough of the proton soft plastic, gummy but not to gummy, you can really death grip ot and still have a clean release. Defs worth buying

If you suck at putting like I do, this disc at least alleviates the pain a little bit by making every miss look and feel excellent coming out of your hand. When it magically goes in the basket it's a transcendent experience- I may've only experienced it once ever, maybe.

It's a great putter for anhyzer, straight, hyzer and higher floating flex lines. It's a great driving putter with the rubber outer-ring providing some exceptional disc feel for power grip.

I highly recommend this putter for beginners and experts alike. Stats wise, it does have some fade on straight throws, so it's more like a 3/3.5/0/.84 (yes, .84, enjoy that)

Picked this up about a month ago to take my Omega's spot as my "go to" putter. Though I still do use the Omega for closer putts. But this thing FACKS em! I am a sucker for the soft plastic in putters. Sticks to chains pretty darn well. Still not 100 percent with this disc but I am getting better. Not as straight for me as advertised but close. I do not drive with it, have too much wrist snap. I've hit some nice putts outside of 30' with the Anode and that has made me fall in love with it. All in all, just another great MVP disc.

The Soft Proton Anode is my favorite version of the Anode. It offered a little more grip, and also a little bit more glide. When I was putting with the Anode, this was my go-to putter outside the circle. It would stay in the air slightly longer so I could get a little more distance on the longer putts.

I would suggest a Proton or Neutron Anode for the wind before the Soft Proton.

This disc is an amazing putter/short mid. This disc is awesome. It is a very straight flyer and has little fade. Its great for push and spin putting, which I primarily do. For cold weather the firms get very stiff (soft Wizard) softs stay Somewhat SSS Wizard soft. while in Warm temps the Medium Anodes feel great in the hand, lots of grip and yet a still solid firm feel. The softs are more gummy and flexible (You feel it flex down in the hand.) As for the durability is top notch. It can withstand lots of damage without showing wear. Also don't judge its gripability based on your initial feel as the overmold is incredibly grippy. If your looking for a strong dead strait grippy putter with a great feel as long as reliability look no further.

The anode is a great disc to have in the arsenal. I have a couple soft protons and just feel awsome. Before the snow flew, this was my go to putter for anything but once they get wet and with stiff chains, I was having way too many spit outs so had to switch to something tackier. The anode seems to handle a head wind putting quite well, holding a nice straight line. My bread and butter with this disc though is anny putts. It seems it will just hold that line forever to the chains. You do have to be careful with the glide on this disc though, if you miss you are looking at farther than normal comeback putts and also any wind other than a straight wind can make this disc to crazy things from my experience. Have to also mention this thins is a great driver off the tee. It will rip straight and glide forever with minimal fade.

If you want a straight putter, the Anode is the putter to get. In soft plastic, I can putt really well. This is a great putter and I recommend it for any level.

I purchased a Soft Proton Anode (with sparkles in it!) a few weeks ago. It is becoming my favorite putter. Since it's been about 30-40 degrees each time I've played with it, it is stiffer than it would be in warm weather. It is really grippy, and the outer rim is nice and round. My index finger wraps around it and always sits in the same place each time I grip it, so the throws are very consistent. It has a really dependable flight, and seems like it has a magnet in it for the chains. So far with using it, I haven't had any discs bounce off the chains and back out. It also works really well for me with short (less than 100ft) forehand throws.

I got the neutron a few months back. It quickly took place of my wizard and aviar. I've been getting some great putts from outside 30 feet that were hard for me to hit with my old putters.
